She stated it to make sure both present heard her. Money was meaningless. Like many of her kind... her interest was in things way more intangible and valuable than mere currency.
That said, apparently the gems did interest her, including keeping the box they had come in.
"Tell me about the debacle at the warehouse. I will be visiting the site late tonight. I wish to know what occurred."
As she said the latter, she was also sending a text upstairs to Nines, inviting him to join them if he wanted his side of the story heard.

Nines received the message, and shifted from his seat and started towards the stairs to join the group.

Roan's question forced an unhappy sound from the pirate's throat, she was really starting to obsess about the warehouse. As hard as he was trying to stay a private person and not have his laundry aired in front of others, she was completely able to just throw it out there and get her answers from them without force. The annoyance was very clear on his face, forcing a shake out of his head.
"We went in, Nines extracted the drive. I was attacked by one of the targets, a cainite....her clan. Its dead. Nothing else really."

Nines arrived shortly after Dag made his report. He didn't like that he was late to the party, but the impromptu debrief had started without him, so it couldn't be avoided.
Quietly he took his place at Dag's side, and looked between the two.
What'd I miss?

"Nothing. Dagoth melted a drone. I intend to improve things. Tell me about the warehouse."
Roan's face was neutrally set as Dagoth spoke, and as Nines entered. She dug out a cigarette, lit it, and exhaled a smoke ring. Displacement activity. her tail didn't so much as twitch. It was hard to tell, therefore, whether she was upset at what she had heard so far, or not.

Already, Nines had the deep seated gut feeling that things just went terribly, terribly awry. Hiding his apprehension, he nodded and gave his report as businesslike as he could.
We scoped the place out, and agreed that I would slip in via the roof to get to the drives. Once I was in they would make their move. The computer room was doubling as a meth lab; four men, two goons and two workers. A bullet to the head each sufficed until someone threw up a cloak of shadows. Judging from the timing between the screams and stink of charred meat from downstairs, and the failure of the shadows, I'd say Dag cooked whoever was putting it up. Got the drive, no difficulty, but confirmation of the bodies was nigh impossible. Between the machine gun fire and the fuego, most of the corpses weren't in the most recognizable form.

Holding up a hand to forestall any further input, she nodded once, exhaling another stream of smoke.
"Very well. Nines, I would like you to head to a second address for me. It has been linked to the people you dealt with for me. I want detailed recon on the place, and who is using it.
Dagoth, we also found information about two further labs in operation under the net. I want you to head to one of them and annihilate everyone inside.
William, I want you to head to the second location. It is believed this one has already stopped active production and will be closing down shortly - likely they've had the heads up we know of them. I want you to bring me back the highest ranking operative you can. Alive."
Her face didn't change, her features stayed still, and her tone was even and calm. Assignments, handed out like candy. And nothing more.

Dagoth reached in to his bag and pulled out the PDA he was given by Roan, he shook the black object at her. Grinning from ear to ear chucking after she spoke, her confirmation of their working relationship and the avoidance of sweating out 48 hours in this room was wonderful news.
"Load me the first, give Will the second. Rules on Collateral?"

She spoke as she flicked out her own PDA and started sending information across to the others, as applicable.
"I don't think the address is directly connected to the operation we are trying to disrupt, but I don't know. This is why I want you to go and observe. I suspect, as with all people though, getting caught will land you in trouble.
As for you Dagoth... I am sending you to this location BECAUSE its a target rich environment. Ideally, it would be nice to leave the building the standing. The people less so."

"An' who do I get to play with?"
A plume of smoke proceeding him into the TR(?) Corbin came to stand in the doorway, leaning against the frame as he plucked the cigarette from his lips.
Having through some Irish magic procured a can of Guinness from somewhere, he took a long sip followed by the refreshed sigh that usually accompanied.
"Dun tell me you were gonna dole out teh work to this bunch 'n' leave me out again boss..."
With the last four or so inches of his tail flicking idly behind him, spade softly slapping the floor as it went to and fro, he took a moment to look each of the present chaps over. He recognized Nines. Still didn't much like him, but that was sure to be mutual enough. Will, he seemed to recall meeting, maybe. Of course there was that silly sausage that turned the armoury into an easy bake oven. Less said about that whole fiasco the better, as he wasn't completely not at fault himself.
"Or am I still on Drone duty?.."
His eye then found the mess left by the Baker of bloody Fleet street on the floor, with a groan.
"Guess not..."

Dagoth looked at Corbin as he entered, the change was instant he squared fully up his eyes locking on to Irish cainite. That increasingly common growl escaped his throat again, the beast remembered the armour fight and how they hadn't finished. He winced as the flash of Roan bathed in flames tore into his memory enhanced by the blood rushing through his veins, this sensation it was all so familiar to him.
"We ain't finished paddy. When I'm done, lets finish up."
He shut off the PDA and placed it back into the bag he was still holding, he threw the duffel over his shoulder the grey on skin grouping into large spots. He could still feel the rage slowly boiling through him, turning slowly towards Roan he bowed.
"Well boss, if you need the building I will try and keep it up. Target types in the brief?"

Cocking a brow Corbin didn't bother looking back at Dag, just replaced his cigarette and took a drag before he started idly waving his hand by his ear in a shooing gesture.
"Need 'n ice pack for your 'ead, son."
He then stuck his index in his ear and gave a subtle twist along with a sigh as he exhaled. Taking the time for another sip while Roan settled up with them.

Opening her mouth to answer Corbin as he entered, she shut it again with a slight groan as she noted the instant chift in body stance in Dagoth. She could already feel a tension headache starting, and massaged her temples with a sigh.
Choosing to simply ignore the matter for now, and let boys be boys, she moved right along.
"Everything you need to know is in the download, Dagoth.
Corbin, no you wont be staying at home. Much as I have plenty of drones still useable, there is a job I need you to do, which will require your illusory abilities.
It seems the Sabbat aren't the only group in the area we need worry about. And by we, I mean the Kindred in the room. I will brief you fully in my suite when you are ready. Im sending you in to visit the Society of Leopold."

His part of the job offer was more or less done, so Nines took the opportunity to slip out of the group and leave while Dag and Corbin had their dominance posturing. He had things to get done before leaving for work, and truth be told...he didn't want to be in arms reach when the swinging started.
