I've been good. I'm working from home now and finally away from working at hotels. I'm doing call center work now but they're paying me better than when I was at the hotel and the work culture is decent. I'm still writing articles for Miguel's site Aeon Byte. I'm still running Alpha & Omega Church. I have a roommate living with my fiancee and me now. Overall things have been going good, despite a few minor set backs.

Had quite a big shake up last month. I'm pretty sure a certain someone was behind it. *side-eyes shrine* But we had a nice heart to heart over it the next weekend. Things are better but because of how far away from my job I had to move I'm in a bit of a money crunch. Bills are getting paid. I just can't spend on extras which is fine for now. I have a place to sleep and a decent car so I'm not complaining. But the boss feels bad. He doesn't want me to leave but he can't give me anymore hours or a raise until February. Which I knew he couldn't which was why I never asked him to. I already have the second highest hours and the only reason I don't have the highest is because I'm not assistant manager. But on the plus side I'm facing initiation with this group I've been traveling to see next month. Been working with them since last September. And I rabbled. cat_whee

It did. I assure you I'm still around. smile
So today...for my Honours thesis I have to work with a Au-Sb mine a couple of hours away from home...and they've been having issues onsite to the point that I can't get there until next year. Which means I have to extend my Honours by six months. Mum and dad are NOT going to be happy with this development.

I might try to type up another topic before I leave for work. I don't really want to do much on my laptop until I get my new power cord. Which should be tomorrow. So yay!

Yay less stress!
And my power cord is out for delivery. I'm debating on if I want to drive out and hang out with my mom before work to see if I can be there when it gets there. I do need to go the bank though. But I finally have the old cord in a spot that it works and I'm actually in the mood to type up another topic for here. So much to do. v.v My laptop was still under warranty. I almost want to read over the policy to see if I break it if I would be able to get a new one.

I'll look into it after everything calms down. August is such a crazy month. Birthdays galore!
And I did start that topic. It's still open on my laptop. I do have my new cord. I had to go to UPS to pick it up because Best Buy left out my mom's apartment number and the driver just wasn't going to leave it because a lot of packages have been getting stolen lately. Only to find out that they sent me the wrong cord. And then the dumbass at Best Buy tried jamming to cord into my laptop as if to prove that it was actually right when looking at the cords it I obviously wasn't. But she switched it out for me so I do have a new cord that will actually fit my laptop.

Last weekend we had a birthday party for a ritual mate. Monday was my grandpa's. The 22nd is my mom's. The 23rd my stepmom's. The 30th is my dad's. I know I'm missing other ones. But then on top of that all of my trips to Michigan. Last weekend was the birthday party. XD I'm pretty sure Set was behind the priest trying to get me drunk. And then this weekend is their Lammas ritual. And then next weekend is initiations. I'm debating on if I want to go up there the next weekend or stay home and go to the pagan pride day because one of my stepmom's friends is flying her up and I've been debating like "Do I want to see her on her birthday or for the next weekend?" Mom wasn't pleased when I told her I might be going to Michigan that weekend for that reason. But then again if it has anything to do with my dad my mom goes all RAWR. Oh and on top of that Wep Ronpet is this weekend.
I love how topics are just lining up now. I have two that I want to work on. But I'm not completely sure how to word the second topic until I do a bit of reading later.
