Avery had been shading his eyes, looking in the opposite direction, even though it wasn't particularly bright in the room. At the sound of Spiro's voice, Avery jumped and spun, and said, "Spiro! You are here! We found you! C'mon! Colette got a puzzle! And we met a really cool guy named Mr. Sei! But he's taking Ritsu's picture right now."
Avery rolled his eyes at this, but was nearly bouncing with exitement. Now that their best puzzle put-together-er was here, the puzzle wouldn't be any problem at all!

"No one deserves to be beaten up, just because someone does it once.. doesn't mean that someone deserves to have it done to them either..." Sylas spoke softly, his voice faltering and weak and he looked at the floor rather than that any of the girls around him. "I don't.. think that she deserves it.." He turned slowly, feet shuffling on the carpet as he moved down the hall.
Dementia rolled her eyes at her older brother in disgust. "What a pushover.. you never fight for anything. Adon wanted your pet, and you let him have it, Tobias wants your room, you let him have it.... what do you ever keep for yourself?"
Sylas just shook his head "I keep.... what is inside to myself... cause that is the only thing no one can take.."

Aqua looks very frustrated, and twirls to face her sister, glaring balefully. She was mad as heck at Sere this time; Sere has just gone too far now... Aqua thinks angrily. She starts to raise a hand towards Sere.
Sere takes a step back, unsure of what Aqua is about to do. She starts to get a little nervous, and quickly looks from side to side for an escape route. She backs up a pace, not liking the look in her older sister's eyes at all. Maybe I shouldn't've done that...? This thought goes through her head a little too late.
Alright, enough of this... Niko firms herself, and quickly rushes forward before Aqua can hit Sere, and kneels in between them, one hand holding Sere's shoulder firmly and the other holding the wrist of the hand Aqua had raised tightly. She grins a little at the shocked looks on her daughters faces. "Heh, I'm still as fast as I was before I lost my sight." Her grin fades, and she stands up, still holding onto Sere and Aqua and looking down at them, her face unreadable.
Aqua looks down, meekly, and scuffs a foot on the floor, though all idoes is make the floor shiny.
Sere tries to pull away from her mom, looking everywhere but her mother's eyes.
Niko transfers her gaze from her daughters to Sylas's retreating back. Her eyes soften, and she calls out to him. "You-Sylas, right?- I apologize for my daughter. The feather is yours, she should never have taken it from you." She grins crookedly. "I hope you will forgive her, though she does not at all deserve it." She glares so sharply at Sere that daggers almost came out of it as Sere shivers and tries to pull away again.

Sylas spoke softly, his head still down, even though everyone seemed to think he should be looking up. "She did nothing wrong, she wanted it to make her happy, and.. if it was going to she should have took it." He sighed softly. "I mean.. I guess that is what material things are for. TO make others happy. In reality nothing can really belong to anyone. Not truely, because in time everything will be gone, and all we have left is what is inside."
Dementia looked down "Sylas you don't really believe that do you? If you do you are going to be so sad all the time. Never really enjoying anything.. that isn't right either. Not even for you."

rimedragona ((No problem. ^^)) Rime smiled gratefully. "No, nothing tricky. It's just a digital camera. I would take the pictures myself, only then they wouldn't be pictures of us two together."She handed over the camera, and then took Ritsu by the hand. "Okay, sweetie. Let's stand... Hm. Let's stand here. This is a blank part of the wall. You stand... in front of me, and stand up tall, look at Sei. Good!"Ritsu was standing in front of Rime, hands tucked into the opposite sleeves. Rime was about a foot behind him with her arms outstretched, hands lightly on either shoulder. She smiled proudly, but Ritsu only managed a watery little half-smile at first. Then he swallowed hard. I'm not going to let Rime-san down... she thinks that this will be fun, so I'm going to try, at least. He put on a braver smile. Avery nodded, and scanned the room, too. The room was large, and people were in the way... "Yeah, we can go find him. Let's go searching. We can bring him back here to do the puzzle. That way Mr. Sei can help, too. Once he's done with Mom's camera, anyway." He pointed off towards the other wall with one hand, then set the controller for his car down next to it before taking a few steps. (( xp Ffft, I keep getting distracted. Sorry. Bad kitty.)) "Okay, then." Sei took a few steps back and looked throughthe viewfinder, composing the picture. He waited for Ritsu to smile, smiling a little himself. Click.
He turned the camera to get a lengthwise photo, too. "One more, just in case." Click.
"There," he said, and offered the camera back to Rime. He smiled at Ritsu. "Not so bad, right?"

Rime took the camera back, looking at the viewport to see how the pictures turned out. She smiled, and said, "They're wonderful. Thank you, Sei."
Ritsu had been looking down at his feet after the pictures were taken, but he glanced up at Sei, and said, "Thank you very much, Sei-san. I hope I wasn't a bother to you..."
Rime pet his hair lightly, encouragingly. "I'll go print these out. Would you like to stay down here, Ritsu? When Avery comes back, you could ask if you could help with their puzzle."
Ritsu froze, and then covered his face with his hands. I couldn't do that! I wasn't invited, Avery-san doesn't like me... I don't want to intrude on Colette-san... He was shaking slightly.
"It's alright, sweetie, you don't have to... I just thought you might want to, that's all." She rubbed his back lightly.
Ritsu bit his lip. Rime-san is only hoping I could make more friends, but I'm hopeless at that.... If only she wasn't leaving. He wated someone to use as a sort of buffer, someone who he felt safe around. To put himself forward like that without someone there would be almost too scary to imagine.

Yuki smiled a bit, waving at the younger boy.. He felt so phoney in the moment.. all he had said were things he was raised to say. Politeness, intellegence.. maturity.. really that wasn't him. but.. if that wasn't, then who was he? He didn't know anyone else..
Sighing he stood, walking off in some random direction.. maybe explore somemore. He had to admit.. it sure was nice that Arafel let him walk around by himself..
Colette blinked turning to smile at him, he was here! She almost hugged him, but held back because.. well Spiro obviously didn't like being touched. "I got.. a present from santa, its a puzzle.. and me you and spiro are on it!" she giggled a bit, nodding at what Avery had said.
"We didn't get to finish the puzzle at school.. and I'd be really happy if you helped us!" she smiled, tilting her head to the side in a cute manor.

Spiro's eyes snapped in the direction of Avery, and he relaxed a bit when he noticed it was him.. He hadn't seen him. Well, then again, Yuki also hadn't mentioned him, so he hadn't been looking. He didn't even know the other boy was here.. He gave a small wave of his hand, and then paused a moment.. "Mr. Sei?.." He echoed curiously, although it didn't show in his tone.. He glanced about, and then back to the other two, who seemed so excited..
A small nod, and the faintest hint of a smile, "A-ah... Okay.. I'd like like that... To help." He gave another nod, mismatched gaze examining his socked feet idly- of course he hadn't worn shoes. Hatori and Freize had been too busy to pester him about it, so.. He just went without them. He hated shoes. They were.. Uncomfortable.. Like the constant feeling that something was eating your feet.

Sei bowed low, exaggerating the motion, and smiled at Rime and Ritsu. "It's always a pleasure to help a lady."
The boy looked nervous, he noted. "Here," he said. "Why don't we both go? Then your lovely mama can print the photos out, and you won't have to stay down here by yourself." He refolded his wings and tucked his hands into his pockets. Shy kid. Reminded him of someone.

Kyoko: runs to the front door of the appartment "MOM I'M GOING OUT!!" jumps around with her hands on the doorknob.
Pokes her head out of the kitchen area "Take Akira with you will you please Kyoko! I need to make a late lunch" >.< Laughs at herself.
Kyoko: "Sure where is he! I'll take him out for a walk!" Looks around for Akira and whistles to hear scrambling on the porch. "Found him!"
"Don't forget his leash! You know he'll attack someone and lick them to death if you don't have his leash!"
Koyko: "I know! I know!" grabs teh leash hanging ona hook near the sliding glass door to the porch. SHe holds the hook ready and opens the doora dn grabs his collar snapping teh hook over the metal ring "Okay i got him! ASA WANNA COME?"
Asa: Sticks his head out of his room and nods "Sure! You might need some help if he gets away" sweatdrop
Kyoko: Nods to Asa tugging on the leash. "Come on Akira! Good Idea! Come on lets go before AKira has a heart attack!" xd
Asa: "Alright let me get the door for you!" runs over ot the door opening it for Kyoko as she walked out struggling with Akira. Walks out into the hall and closes the door behind him. "Where too?"
Kyoko: "Some where downstairs not much to do up here on the third floor with an energetic wulvo pup now is there!"
Asa: "Guess not!" Grabs part of the leash and heads down the stairs with Kyoko and stops at the second floor to take a breath from all of Akira's run back and forth up the stairs "Dumb dog!"

Avani looks behind her at Sylas, her eyes sparkling. "Why would you believe that, Sylas? There are things outside of the body too, that can't be taken. Friendship, a gift from a friend, a letter, and family, to, Sylas! That pet was for you alone, and no one else! And why let Sere keep the feather? It was a gift! A gift for you, and no one else! And if you still won't take the pet or the feather back. . . t-then. . . I don't know, Sylas! I'll find you new ones! But stand up for yourself, don't let yourself be walked all over by her!" She speaks, her eyes watering as she thought about what was happening to him. No one should have to go through that, especially from someone younger than them, let alone a baby! Avani thought to herself.
Silvia walks around the corner and, seeing the conflict, steps into the middle of it. Lifting Sere up by her arms, and traps the struggling angel in her embrace, looking harshly at Niko. How could you let it get this far? her eyes said accusingly. She did no more than restrain the squirming angel.
Avani looks up at her mom gratefully, and turns back to Sylas, friendship in her posture, and worry in her eyes.

Niko shrugs helplessly. I didn't see it start... She tries to say in the shrug, and pulls Aqua closer to her, nodding a little at her friend in thanks for keeping Sere back.
Sere squirms and struggles as she is suddenly lifted off the ground, and waves her fists, trying to drop free. "Unh, l-lemme go!!" She shuts her eyes and shakes her head. "Lemme go!"
Aqua nods a couple times, completely agreeing with Avani. "Yeah! Family is ssomthin' outside of you, and no one can take it away! Much as it is sometimes wanted..." She mutters that last bit, glaring angrily and disgustedly at Sere.

Avery nodded at Spiro. "Uh-huh! Mr. Sei is cool. He likes my car. Oh! I'll show you my car, too. But it's over there, with the puzzle. C'mon!" Avery gestured, and had to restrain himself from charging over there ahead of the others. He noticed Spiro's stocking feet, and grinned.
"No shoes? Me either! I hate 'em." He stopped to wiggle his bare toes at Spiro, before continuing. Of course, Avery preferred to go clad in as few clothes as possible, but he did now understand the need for at least something. It was polite, and if you weren't polite, you didn't make friends. He glanced over at the commotion on the other side of the room. Sere was evidence of that.
He ignored them then, intent on getting the trio over to where Spiro could meet Mr. Sei.
Rime grinned cheerfully, and gave Ritsu one more smoothing of his hair with her hand. "There you go, Ritsu, you can stay with Sei. Go have fun, now, okay?" She knew he was probably dying to say something, but even though he had found some restraint in his apologies, Ritsu still felt everything eventually came down to being his fault.
The boy looked up at Rime with big eyes, and then looked back at his feet as he inched over to Sei's shadow instead of Rime's. "Okay, Rime-san. I-I'll stay with Sei-san." His voice could barely be heard, and he played with the cuffs of his sleeves nervously.

Sybil scrintched up her nose. She had been watching Alida for what felt like hours, waiting for her to do something... but Alida had just sat there, turning page after page in that book... Completely oblivious to anything around her.
Sis is boring now. I'm going for a walk. She'd been given the lecture from Rime about staying in the building, not going to the roof or the pool without someone with her, and not talking to people who didn't belong in the building. Sybil had listened, pondered, and then promptly decided to follow the rules as long as they didn't interfere with what she wanted to do. Which was another way of saying she didn't intend to follow them at all.
She slipped off the bed, and grabbed her christmas sweatshirt, pulling it on over her tanktop. Alida didn't even twitch as Sybil left the room, and then the apartment, shutting the door quietly behind her. What way...? She closed her eyes, and thought hard, and she felt something tugging her in a certain direction. She opened her eyes again, and headed that way, without even a thought as to what she might find at the end. It didn't matter. All that mattered was that that was where she was supposed to be.
