Well, that didn't work entirely. Valhalla stared, horrified as the eye burst and sprayed a tar-like substance. Oh, that was gross. Not only that, but his pitch didn't seem to get the claw to let go of the shield, but at least Ganymede and Pasiphae had managed to get rid of the eye. One gone was better than two seeing.
"Well, that didn't seem to work. Try throwing s**t at it?" he suggested to Camelot, picking up another rock to throw at the claws again in the attempt at freeing Camelot's shield. He would throw his compass, but that wasn't nearly as effective as a rock. And it wasn't like he had magic.
"Don't listen to her, Camelot! You know better than that!" Valhalla snapped over his shoulder at his friend when he heard him trying to defend his actions, make himself feel better. He shouldn't have to worry about that right now. Mourning will happen later. But for now, they needed to kill this youma to prevent even more bloodshed.
"Leave him alone!" he shouted, lunging at the girl attacking Camelot (Felicia?), wanting her away from his friend.
So, the Chronos Knights were protecting their princess, although Sessrumnir failed to see the princess in much danger at the moment, and the others were either protecting or defending the large youma that seemed to be breaking apart at the seams. Well, this shouldn't last too long then, should it?
He supposed he could pick up s**t to start throwing at the creature, but he also didn't want to get in the way of the others. Hmmm... such a difficult decision for the page. To draw attention to himself and risk his life, or try to kill the youma to hopefully preserve others... but that was up in the air, too. Who knew what good his actions would do.
"Nice hit, Babydoll," Sessrumnir called over to Ganymede, thinking it was probably not the best time to laugh at him for being covered in black stuff. Well, he'd knocked out its eye at the very least! "So these new knights or whatever," he said, glancing over his shoulder to Chronos and her fancy little escort of a dozen people. "Are these people waiting for tea to be served or are they going to help us eventually?"
They could be doing more than just standing around.

Howlite's shout halted Draconis in her steps. Her eyes flitted from the puny little negaverse who was pretending she was in charge, to the eternal senshi who was fighting the beast. She could tell who Howlite's target was.
But did Howlite know who Draconis' target was?
Sailor Draconis darted left and right, weaving her way through negaversers and senshi alike to make her way to Howlite's little pedestal of greatness. Not even saying a fighting word, she arched her foot out and attempted a kick in her direction. This was payback for yesterday.
She would have revenge.
Edit'd, sorry about that Indu!
---
An audible sigh of relief escaped her mouth when Celsus showed up. So he was okay. She smiled and began to tell him what had been going on when a knife stabbed straight across her arm.
It should be obvious that she screamed bloody hell, but the pain. The pain. Peklo had never even gotten stitches or a broken bone. This was unreal. Absolutely unreal. She turned to her group and, in between her shouts, said, "Wh-What ..."
That was all she could get out before her eyes started watering. Luckily the knife hadn't stuck in her arm, but the cut on her right arm was still incredibly deep. It would definitely need to be looked at by a professional.

Pasiphae wasn't ignoring the Negaverse agents and Dark Moon Court members surging around them, but she was trying to keep moving to avoid being caught in a fight with them. She held no ill will, not really, towards those Corrupted by Chaos, even if she had to constantly remind herself that they were all human underneath it all. The Great Youma, however? That was just a beast that would kill anyone, destroy anything in its path. That was the target of her built up anger, fear, and frustration.
It only got worse when she and Ganymede were sprayed with warm tar, proof that the dual attack on the eye had been successful. Valhalla was still working with the knights, as he should, and Camelot, who had led the attack, seemed to be the worse off... but he and other Senshi that she didn't know (Draconis, Corvus, Nemesis etc) were doing there very best to stop the creature before them. Even the Zodiacs could be seen standing with them, protecting their Princess of course, but also their home.
Where did she strike? Where... and then it seemed obvious. There was one part of the beast that was being used consistently against them--the tail! She briefly called to Ganymede, "I'll be right back... keep fighting!" The Senshi of Shame rushed forward and lashed out against the youma's tail, hoping either to distract it or to hurt it. She hated to leave the other Jovian behind... but hopefully her strike would make some kind of difference and help keep them all safe.

Go toward her he did. Camelot let her pull him and moved with the momentum she provided. He realized quickly that this new senshi had been created in the middle of this chaos, maybe of that very chaos itself. He didn't know how she had come to be, but like the knights he had seen, she was once a helpless, terrified civilian kidnapped from home by magical forces beyond their control.
And now she was here, another soldier, another victim of this war.
His strong arms did not lash out in defense of himself in a typical way. Instead, in the middle of a terrific and gigantic battle, he wrapped his arms around her and held her to him tightly, using the strength granted to him by his status as a Squire only to hold, not hurt. He held on to her and spoke softly, barely loud enough to be heard over the din of the fight.
"If you want to kill me, you can try. But it won't bring you any peace. It won't bring back the people you have lost. The life you have lost. Let me fight for you. For all of you. This doesn't need to be: fighting this way will only bring more pain and a more terrible war. No one can be happy this way. No one can survive, even if you're alive."
He was shaking as he kept her hostage, his voice reflecting the weakness he felt in his body alone. His spirit remained as strong as ever, stronger, maybe, then he knew it was capable of.
But things were moving too fast for the moment to last. He heard Valhalla moving to aid him, and released Navi quickly to raise his arms in a show of peace. He was vulnerable, he knew that, but he had to do what he had to do. Always.
He saw the monster, the injury he had caused, and yelled, "Hit the exposed weak points! By whatever means necessary! Stop fighting each other and destroy that terrible beast! You have all lost friends because of it! Because of this stupid war, and pointless rivalry! You can go back to your heartache and misery after, but for the sake of those that we have lost already, kill that thing."

Naica defintively wanted to be elsewhere.
Really... Who wouldn't ?
He had one hell of a headache, too...
He came out of behind his rubble just in time to see his previous group covered in tar-like subsances (hm, grooossss.)
Through the creature seemed distracted - he caught some of the rubble and flung it at the youma, hoping to hit it's claw and make it drop Camelot's shield.

Bad thing about focusing her attention on the youma was that she tended to be inattentive to anything else. If someone called her name, she probably wouldn't hear them. She tended to block out things that she deemed unimportant, so she could focus on the one thing that was. It was something she was going to have to work on - someone had probably informed her of this fault more than once, and she just as likely ignored them. One day she'd regret her inability to take someone else's advice.
Today was not that day. She was too pissed to think properly when she was tackled down by a Negaverser. Howlite's attack had worked! Unfortunately, it brought her dangerously close to Nemesis' own attack. The slightest touch from Nemesis' fingertips would start a rapid progression of decay. Organic things tended to rot slower than something inorganic like rock, the composition of a human body was more complex. She was down flat on her stomach, but her instinctive first reaction was to grasp for anyone, anything. She struggled under the weight at her back, twisting to thrust her hand at Howlite's face.
Nemesis did not account for the possibility that they would gang up on her. She wasn't an honor bound sort of senshi, who believed in mono e mono, or whatever that was called. She liked to fight dirty. However, she did like others fighting dirty against her. "God ******** cocksuckers dammit!" she screeched as Kestrel grabbed her hair. There were only a few precious seconds remaining of her attack, so she'd do everything within her power to use it. Her free hand was reaching out to Kestrel, trying to rake her fingers over the girl's face, but she was suddenly plunged into darkness.
She couldn't see, she felt as if she had suddenly been completely displaced from the battle. So, Nemesis did what she did best, blindly groped, kicked, did anything to try and fight what she now could not see. There shouldn't even be an enemy from how things looked, but she felt that weight, she felt the tug on her hair, and she responded. She was a vicious fighter, if nothing else, and one who did not know how to quit.

Sugilite had been watching the Great Youma out of the corner of her eye, only half-listening to the other girl. She wanted to get past Thisbe, and at the people who were attacking it, but she had to be patient. It was always this way, keep them talking, look for an opening. This time however, she didn't have to wait. She watched past the senshi as the great beast staggered, then swung it's tail through the crowd. She turned to face the girl full on, smirking. "Well, for one thing, I've got a giant youma." Then she ducked down, rolling out of the way as the great tail came sweeping through the fighters on either side, crashing into their battle, and out the other side, with enough force to knock the sturdiest fighter off their feet.

“CORVUS” he called, the familiar feather trim was not lost upon him, the “The offer stands.” He held out a hand to her, familiar to what they had already gone through. His voice still held the overtones that he understood. That he knew well the sensation of loss and pain. The vague promise that he could remove the pain from her memories. “Are you sure you won’t change your mind?”

The sudden onslaught of rocks on the youma's claw meant that it was next to break, noisily cracking like felled tree and rapidly crumbling into dust. It thrust its foreleg outward in protest, aiming to hit Valhalla and Naica both, and in the process the shield skidded away and became lost in the crowd. HP REMAINING: 204

With his attack fired, Alunite was free to keep running toward the group, trying to get there before it was too late, his teleporting energy running too low for him to rely on it as much as he had once done.
He reached for Howlite, trying to pull her away from the glow of the eternal's hand - he had no idea what it did, but he didn't especially want to figure it out.
Hopefully he'd gotten her out in time, but now that Nemesis was blinding hitting whatever she could get her hand on, he kicked her as hard as he could, trying to get her away from the youma - and his alies.
He certainly wasn't below fighting dirty, himself.

Yep, that had worked out okay, certainly, but now the youma seemed aware of his existence.
This wasn't going to plan, not that Naica had a plan, really.
"VAL !" He tried to dodge, really, he did, but he was too inexperimented - and ended up knocked away, landing arm first in the distance and letting out a scream
Maybe he needed to take flying lessons.

Now was as good a time as any he figured to use that one attack he had yet to. Remembering the sink holes the great youma could cause. His dark slate eyes focused on Nemesis as he shouted to Howlite and Kestrel. "Get back, I'm going to handle her!"
Focusing on the power and thinking about what he wanted to happen the blond Captain let his eyes slip shut as he sent out the attack. It wasn't anything easy for him to do, Negaverse agents didn't posses magic. But by gaining that one piece of the Great Youma he could use one of it's awesome powers. The ground turning into a sinkhole under the senshi of decay.
Hopefully that would trap her long enough that she could be dealt with and taken out of commission. Watching the corrupted eternal senshi come toward them and go to get the girls away.((Benitoite has use of the attack once in the battle. He can turn the ground under one persons feet into a sink hole.))

Kestrel moved back suddenly as the senshi turned to attack her, her hands still blue at the time but something happened that spared her. Not that she knew what it was she was spared from but if she had, she really would be grateful. As for being told to run? ******** that. She pulled at the hair some more. "You run. I was told to fight too." She hissed at the captain who had warned her off. She didn't know that he was higher ranking. She knew nothing so she was doing what she had been told. Protect the monster and stay alive, both of which she thought she was doing pretty well. She looked up at Alunite, not having a clue who he was but he mentioned something earlier so he had to be on their side. Did they know just how confusing this all was? Howlite seemed to be okay and the senshi was waving around all crazy like so Kestrel clung to the hair, trying to tug it off the head it was attached to. However the ground underneath them moved suddenly and so she moved back, doing at last what she had been told.

"Get the ******** out of here!" Her harsh words were for Kestrel, though she meant the girl no harm. It was a frustrated, angry sound as Nemesis' fought back, her hand tightly grabbing Howlite's jaw. She'd told Leto she would watch the backs of the new senshi, and she'd meant it, even if that meant fighting alone.
It ******** hurt.
She'd seen the eerie light on the stronger female's hands, but had been unable to completely avoid it. Kestrel's tug to her hair had helped, letting her free her jaw, and she attempted to pin Nemesis more permanently to the ground, tucking her aching face between the senshi's shoulder blades to protect it.
Benitoite showed up, at some point, but she was too focused on attempting to put Nemesis into an armlock to notice. It wasn't until Alunite arrive, pulling at her body, that her scope of attention widened to include the others.
As she was pried from Nemesis, she felt a firm kick to her thigh, and noticed Draconis. Immediately, she attempted to pull free from her friend to pummel the annoying senshi, her ferocity almost akin to the berserk of earlier. It was probably fortunate, as it saved her from being in the sinkhole with Nemesis.

He didn't have time to be grateful that Virgo was back. He didn't have time to do more than flick his glance up, see her as she fell, and then go back to the battle at hand. His heart swelled, relief and affection and love rising there again, but he stomped it away, viciously. The battlefield wasn't the place for that, and there was simply no time.
The Negaverse officer was talking to and fro, flinging abuse and weaponry alike at them, but Leo barely heard him. His head snapped back as the weapon made contact, but in the same moment, he saw Chronos encased in a glow -- a green glow -- and that meant Virgo was doing her duty again. Chronos was protected.
"Guard yourselves!" He demanded of the pages, wheeling back around and smiling at Wolframite with a ferocity unsuited to his face. "And you, you b*****d--"
"I will tear the heart out of you." He lunged, but surprisingly, not at the general. When he got within a few paces of him, he pushed off the ground, vaulting up and into the air. An impressive jump, not directly over his enemy's head, but to the side, cape snapping behind him. "But not today."
No, today he had to get to that youma, he had to fight it --
And he wove his way through the crowd, gaining cuts and taking hits along the way, but they were glancing. He was simply moving too fast, taking no time to help allies or attack enemies; no, he wanted at that youma, and he heard someone yell about the jaw.
When he was within range he lifted his hand, two bright lights of energy gathering at the tips of his fingers, and shot an energy beam at the jaw of the youma. Once it left his fingers he had no control over it, but he was close enough that he would hopefully hit his mark.
((OOC: Leo doesn't know that's Wolframite/a general, but I got tired of writing the negaverser so yeah. xD He doesn't know it ICly.
Also feel free to lunge at him now that he's in range and all that, whee, fighting!))
