[[Current Mood Green, broken/disjointed wrist
Attempting to Save Steven/Green

Doing it right this time.]]

Bela suddenly realized, OH s**t Steven was in the whale!!! She owed the vet tech, a favor for having treated her cat so she attempted to save him. Paying back favors seems to make someone forget about their fears.... however, suddenly bloop, bloop, bloop. Bela found herself having been eaten too. "Oh fiddlesticks...." She muttered.

The raging teen pushed her way to the front of the whale's really gross mouth. She gave the beast a really sharp kick in the roof of his mouth and launched herself out of the mouth, making it out. She tumbled onto the road and slid, covered in space whale saliva. Her nose cried out in pain and she was almost sure she'd re-broken it. Wonderful.

Gross.

This stuff was gross.

The roleplayer shook as most as she could off, glaring daggers at the whale. IT was going done, ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. She shook a fist at it, Argabauth's muse screeching for war in her head.

"THIS MEANS WAR, SPACE WHALE. THIS MEANS WAAAAAAR!"

So...space whale.

They obviously weren't kidding about that. This thought was affirmed when the huge ******** opened it's mouth and yep, you guessed it, sucked her in. And there was some girl in costume. She knew she saw that before she was hauled into the enormous cavern of the whale's mouth feeling like some lame throwback to Pinocchio.

Despite the adrenaline Harmony was confused, in pain, and now damp from space whale saliva. This was not an even remotely acceptable situation anymore. In fact, it seemed to be getting worse the longer she played along. This wasn't wonderland. There was no white rabbit and damnit if she wasn't starting to get just a little nervous.

She looked around, saw other people around her and decided to hell with them. She was out for herself and despite the pain in her side, which was aggrivated by her plunge into the whale, she felt like she could take on the world. She'd held her own with the bat, hadn't she, despite going to Grant for help.

And where had they all gone, anyway? In the chaos she hadn't paid much attention.

"C'mon Rosen."

She was urging herself to think, looking around the whale's mouth. It was still close to where they'd been and still sucking people in. But there was a calm just after it stopped sucking that she might be able to use. Run, jump, and bridge the gap just after it stops pulling people in. Nothing to keep her back and if she got out of the way in time she might not get dragged back in. It was worth a shot, anyway.

She didn't think about how to explain this to her mother when they got home or how she'd explain the injuries. It was more just trying to survive the experience long enough to make it to the next step. There was always a next step and she wanted to reach the end of it...but not in a bad sad movie kind of way. In her mind she envisioned a few weeks off of work and plenty of sympathy presents for her traumatic ordeal.

She saw Mary some distance off, looking pissed off still and shuddered. She'd had enough of the angry girl for one totally weird out of body experience, thank you. She'd take her chances. She stood up, getting a feel for the rhythmic push and pull of the creature's breath and the way she could set her feet on it's tongue. She lined herself up, took a deep breath, and ran.

She ran toward it's mouth right at the beginning of the intake and breeched the moment the backward momentum let up. It was like running on a reverse treadmill, or against a strong wind, but she managed to pick up enough speed to propel herself forward and away, landing on her hurt side.

She screamed, clutching her side and rolling instinctually onto her back. The pain was blinding and jolted through her body like lightning. She'd heard a crunch when she landed and knew something was very broken now. She passed into blessed unconsciouness for a few minutes while her body processed a lot of the pain and shock.

So much for getting out of the way before the next inhale. She only hoped someone would be so kind as to assist but at least she was out of the belly of the beast now.

"Hi, Mary," Green said with a cheeky snicker as his would-be rescuer ended up in the whale with him. Seemed to be a theme, even though Yellow's attempt at rescuing Blue was actually something of a success. She did get him out, only to end up slimed like the rest of them.

He puffed up and taking a cue from his friends, decided to attempt an escape, and tried to propel himself out of the slimy innards of the way. He stopped to grab his hand in pain, but at some point, he noticed he was in the air, and then he hit the ground with an 'oomph'. He was out of the whale! Slimy but free, he took a second and realized he needed to make himself useful and assist some more. Hopefully not to end up back in the whale but even so, escape seemed easy enough.

Bela frowned, well this was an interesting situation. She was trying to figure out how to get out of the whale. It was all slimey and well not quite as scary as it could've been, it was more scary getting eaten than anything. "Hi Green" She replied to Steven as he greeted her.

She looked around at the others trying to escape, watching Green as he made it out. Before attempting to make her own way out, slipping occasionally in the neon blue slime. "I'm so going to want a bath when this is over with...." She said to herself. Eventually, after some work and trying not to slide too much Bela managed to escape from the whale. "PHBBFFTT" She blew a raspberry at the whale. She brushed off some of the slime the best she could. This was gross.... SO gross; she was afraid this would stain her clothing.

Bela was in and out before Roxy could even exchange greetings. Really, she didn't notice she had joined the little crew at all - frankly, she hadn't paid attention to anyone, she could have sworn someone vaguely mentioned something about finding some magical chick and but that fell on deaf's ears. It took her some time to finally flip over in the sludge of glowing goop and ridiculous amounts of ick. Dammit, the smell in the open air was just as horrendous as in the slime itself.

"Noo...." She panicked. "Nono.. I'm not staying in here!" There was more panic in her voice and she fought through the organs and glowing gunk. This place was disgusting, and she was not going to venture further like the other person... she was going to follow the crowd that was getting the hell out of dodge because this place was way more scary anyways.

It didn't take her long to find the mouth of the whale, really she hadn't been that far in, but it seemed like she was sliding through the mammal for like ever. Apparently there was a gap somewhere, because before Roxy knew it, she fell back on the rainbow ground in a sloppy flop. "Ew... ew.... ew.... -

oh hey, you got out Green! And you too Mary Read!" That was at least happy news. But where was Blue and Red?

Cathleen watched in horror as the whale started to get bigger. She saw the girl that it had swallowed by the whale was still alive and kicking butt even inside of the whale. "What a very brave girl."

The whale started taking in air and Cathleen watched as half the people were sucked into the whale. It was a good thing she was holding on to whatever she could find and was not sucked in. She took off her one remaining shoe and flinged it at the whale.

One minute Regina was staring blankly at her broken wrist, vaguely pondering the meaning of life while debating whether or not she really thought it was forty-two anymore, space whale aside, and then continuing on to wonder whether or not she even gave a damn. She didn't, of course, but that was mostly because things were just nice. They just were. She didn't have to worry anymore...

And then she did. She most definitely did because suddenly Regina was inside the whale, but that really didn't seem to bother her all that much either. Odd, really. Normally something like this, something so freakishly bizarre, would have at least gotten a 'this is magnificent!' out of her if not a full blown shriek.

Well, she might as well just kick back and relax; enjoy the ride... Glance around to see if either Amy or Joce had made it in along with her. Escape was futile, after all. Might as well just chill.

Through some miracle, even with her broken arm and battling bats, she managed not to be sucked into the whale. Somehow she even thought a few of her struggles not to be sucked down into the cavernous maw might have hurt it!

“STOP TRYING TO EAT PEOPLE YOU…YOU FISHY FREAK! MAMAL! BAT HURKING…GODBLOODYDAMNT SPIT THOSE PEOPLE OUT!!! NOW!!”

Like preaching to the whale had helped anyone else who went before. At least it looked like that Cancer woman was still alive. She thought for sure she’d been eaten for good. Even with them being freaky space terrorists it would –really- suck to die by space whale.

The girl she knew, Jade, was suddenly gone. And Ricky had crawled away, leaving Menthe once again alone in all her yellowness.

She watched the whale mildly, watching people get sucked in and others spit back out. It looked more like a ride then anything. People were also fighting the whale? Why would they do that?

It wasn't very nice to hurt things.

The rainbow bridge was slowly beginning to clear out as more people were sucked in. Menthe didn't mind though, she had always been alright with being alone.

Getting out of the whale, easier said than done, but she managed. She planted her feet back on the ground and moved away from the whale, expecting another attack and not wanting to be in the way when it hit.

She looked around at the chaos wondering if she should attack the whale again but decided to simply move further away from the thing. She frowned fighting the yellow mellow thing and wished she weren't yellow. Even in looking around and admitting this weirdness was better than some of the other weirdness, she still would rather have not been.

As if she didn't have enough reasons to be depressed... watching lots of other people bleed and kiss, and sitting around with someone's tragically ripped t-shirt on her chewed on leg, with her finger and foot throbbing....

Then the whale decided to add insult to injury, since apparently it's solution to having problems with the girl it had eaten was to eat -more- people. That seemed something like trying to solve heartburn by eating even more hot salsa, but clearly there was no point explaining that to the whale. No one would listen to her.

Holi gave another short scream, throwing her arms up to shield her face as the huge, horrible creature sucked her up into a maw that smelled like the disposal at a fish counter, covering her with horrible smelling slime that was probably FULL of bacteria that would get into her cuts... and then she'd get GANGRENE if she wasn't digested first. Oh why was everything so depressing?

She kicked furiously as she was slurped up, her now slimey slippers doing an negligible (one point) of damage to the huge creature.

"This is so awful! We're all going to get digested! Or infected! There's so much bacteria, and everyone's injuries are going to go septic... "

She thought she recognized some of the people around her, like the girl with the pretty curly dark brown hair, which was even more depressing. What a horrible way to go for such nice people.

She was almost fine and for a moment she thought that the whale would give up and she could just stay huddled on the rainbow road until someone who knew what they were doing came along. The part of her still doused in the whale's song would have preferred this. After all what bother was it of hers? She wasn't suppose to be trying to take down evil space whales.

She wasn't letting go of her friends though and the hand on her good arm stayed clenched around the first piece of fabric that she'd managed to get to. Unfortunately this happened to be Regina's shirt and that meant that as the complacent girl got sucked into the whale's gullet so did she.

The up side was that Amy was there too. At least they'd all stuck together even if it meant they were now playing Jonah. "Hey ... pay attention.." She nudged Regina with a foot, the girl seemed completely out of it, as she staggered to her feet. "Can't stay here .... rainbow's better anyway."

She grabbed both of her friends as best she could (which wasn't all that well) and kicked one of the stupid glowing slimy things. Which was great because the slimy thing kicked back and knocked the newly-blond Jocelin out of the whale's gullet. Which was not great because now she was still out in space.
