~Freshman and still taller than many seniors~ ~Alabama-The heart of Dixie~ "Johnny Kane" The Alabamian simply smiled. He knew that a lot of states saw too much effort in a pat to the shoulder for someone as tall as him."Still haven't thought of a better nickname for me, bro?" He said with a chuckle as he took a seat at the table."It's nice to see ya again...And there's a festival comin' up?...A cultural one?...Hmmmmm." He pondered for a few moments, before grinning widely and shooting an idea out of his head."Why don't a couple of us states, make a taste of America booth. We each serve a dish from one of the regions of the U.S and some signature sides and drinks?...Granted it sounds a little thrown together in my head, but it's a good quick fix...Should be fun too~!"He said calmly. There are 3 rules in this school 1. Don't run in halls 2. Get along with everyone 3. Survival of the fittest Arthur Kirkland Student Vice President Member of the Disciplinary Committee The Junior GentlemanSeeing as they were still linked together, Arthur followed to the lunch line. Upon waiting he ordered his portion while Alfred ordered his. The brit took a moment to glance around the cafeteria to see who else were there and to make sure there wasn't any trouble going on like fights or what not. Looked as though this was a good day. A couple of students were missing but there was no need for absence during this period. England only let go of the American's hand so that he could eat his meal. (Out of Tea: )

(icons are linked to songs either from or about North Carolina. Not all of them are necessarily my favorites.) "First In Flight" The Tarheel State The Old North State
North Carolina, USA Charlotte C. "Jones" Freshman Charlotte still thought about Landon's movie plan. Knowing him, he was looking for someone with the most drama, so he wasn't going to drop filming Rutilio and Christian. Granted movie isn't interesting without some conflict but this included someone's personal life and not to mention the states closest to them would have to deal with their frustration and hatred even more than ever before. Talk about a future headache. This Tarheel was gonna have to keep a close eye on California just make sure he doesn't go paparazzi on them. Carolina made a face at Landon's list he was bringing. Westerners are a bit strange far as culture. "I was thinking about wearing my old colonial dress, and bring my famous barbeque with some hush puppies and perhaps some side dish, with Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and either Cheerwine or Pepsi, heck maybe both to drink. As for a song, even though it's very cliche but a lot of folks like to consider it my second national anthem, James Taylor's Going to Carolina in My Mind.""That is a good idea Johnny, but I think it's going to be awfully crowded with so many states here at the school, but I suppose we can make due.." Gosh how many were there? Alaska, Alabama, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Ohio, and Tennessee was all that she could recall at that moment. Luis Esteban Salazar-CarriedoThe Timid Junior"I'm okay, really. I guess I got nervous about how my day is going to be. You see... I get sick really easily, and I don't want to fall ill during the festival." It was a lie of course. it was the ebst excuse he can think of for all that stuff that happens to him like fainting or nosebleeds. Since he was always an honest person, everybody believed him.{ Translations:} (Out of Buenos Aires: ) Argentine Republic Republica de Argentina

★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ ☆ ★ "Good idea, Johnny, but I also think it would be too crowded if we all made one America booth," Landon mused. "Not only that, we'd be competing with the Big Cheese if we all massed together like that..." Not that that was a bad idea. United the old Revolutionaries stand, after all.
As California thought, he hit upon another idea. I think there are enough of us here to form booths by region," he suggested. "Charlotte, Johnny, you could team up with Andrew, Rutilio, and Christian for a Southern display. Conne, Leah, Hal, and Michigan could represent the Northeast. Alex and Olivia could do a Central booth. Leilani and Evan would work great for a Far West booth. Marcus and I could pair up for a Western booth!" Landon grinned at how much more awesome his idea sounded, at least to him. Granted, there were flaws--such as the Southern booth being too big--but it was a perfect middle ground between one overcrowded booth and fifteen-plus individual ones. Not only that, it was a sacrifice the West Coast state was willing to make.
Speaking about food... Landon's eyes bulged at the thought of something possibly very dangerous he had forgotten to do. "Oh, shoot; I forgot to feed Gran!" he exclaimed, panicked. "Dammit! I'll be lucky if he doesn't maul me!" Very worried now, more so than when North Carolina had nearly blown his plot out to everyone, Landon stood abruptly and hurled his garbage over Charlotte's and Shujinko's heads into the nearest receptacle and, snatching a muzzle and thick bear-handling gloves from a separate pocket on his backpack, bolted out of the cafeteria, beating the end-of-lunch bell by exactly a minute. He didn't yet know that Rutilio had already fed the irascible little cub just hours ago.

Sr. Romero ValentínRepública Bolivariana de Venezuela ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Romero raised an eyebrow at Luis' blatant lie, but he said nothing on the matter. North did not need to know about South's problems, no matter how many of his states South befriended, after all.
He smiled when Cherelle decided she would make her own booth to increase awareness about her little country. "That's a good idea!" he praised. "Not enough people know about smaller countries like you, after all." Come to think of it, it was mostly those countries who had directly participated in the World Wars who got the most attention...
The Venezuelan couldn't help but overhear the ruckus coming only a few tables away from them. In that area, he heard Andrew's name, as well as others that he presumed belonged to states. "I think some of your siblings have shown up, Andrew," he said, nodding to the noisy group. "A rowdy bunch, are they not?"
As he watched, one of them, a blonde, stood up suddenly and ran out of the cafeteria with a muzzle clutched in two thick gloves. Gloves of that size were only used for manhandling zoo animals. Was he the one who had brought the bear in?

Temp-Russia--Canada- ~Hero America~ Canada had gotten to eat before the bell for class rang but he was a light eater, so he hardly eat for lunch and breakfast. "T-thank you Juan."He smiled. Al didn't mind letting go of Arthur's hand to eat it was much easyer. He had gotten a cupple of Salisbury stakes, stake frys, and some corn. He ate gust as fast as he normaly would. Mattie may not have been at the same table but he was almost next to him even thow people walked between. So Al was happy. "Awww lunch is over?" Ivan had gotten food and left the room some time ago. He hadn't found anyone to sit with.

Sr. Romero ValentínRepública Bolivariana de Venezuela ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ As the bell to fourth period rang, Romero realized, as did the others, that there would be no more time for idle conversation even if Andrew had wanted to be united with his fellow states, who were now slowly disbanding to their respective classes. No matter; if the Venezuelan remembered correctly, all of the states save a precious few were together in the freshman class.
The senior stood and slung on his backpack. “It was nice talking to you all,” he said. “Adios!” Turning on his heel, Romero walked off to his fourth period class, literature.

Republic of Iceland ⇔ Emil Steilsson ☂ The Freezing Junior ☂ □□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□ Emil was a bit surprised of the sudden topic change. Guess Zlata didn't want to him to worry about her. Ther Icelander would have done the same anyhow. He leaned back in his chair, pondering back to his ideas. "Oh. Um. I'm probably going to make some traditional Icelandic dishes and wear my old, white uniform. It's not much really." Right at the end of his sentence, the fourth period bell rang. He placed all the leftover food back in his lunchbox, wiping his lips with a napkin before throwing it away. He returned back to Zlata, his cheeks still somewhat flushed. "Thank you for spending lunch with me again... It was really nice of you. So, I'll see you next period, I guess." He helped clean the table before heading out the cafeteria. □□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□□Out of Reykjavik: Hopefully! I have been waiting for it for quick some time! North Carolina, USA Charlotte C. "Jones" Freshman "Uh Landon... hate to tell you that you got a few of those regions mixed up..." For starters Ohio was never part of the south... not to mention Michigan had left the school and hadn't seen signs of Alex and Olivia in the past few days... Maybe this plan was such a great idea after all... Charlotte ducked for her life as the Californian threw stuff above her head. It ticked her off. "Next time you do something like give a WARNING!" she yelled as he ran off. "jerk" She grumbled and folded her arms. "... those two aren't THAT bad..." at least not to North Carolina. The bell rang and she headed off to the next class. (Out of Cheerwine and Pepsi: )

~Slovakia~Zlata Augustine Lietchinsk 11th Grade "Zounds good." Zlata nodded, in turn pondering what she was to wear to the festival herself. She didn't bring her Kroj, but she had a pink, gown. But it was so....girly! Ugh, I really don't want to be seen in something so prissy, but if I have nothing else... Zlata sighed, she'd have to make do with what she had. Maybe she could make it look nice. Zlata blinked stupidly upon being thanked, having not expected it; but she smiled happily nonetheless, it had been nice sitting with Emil. It was almost a little too nice...Zlata thought to herself with a blush as she nodded shyly in response before getting up and heading out of the cafeteria herself. Slovak>>>EnglishOut Of Combat: Yup ^^ I'll probably have her skip out the grape stamping though if she's gonna wear a pink frilly dress though :3
