Jericho stared at the slate and the grin faded off. All this time he really didn't have that much of a clue as to why Christof had a grudge against him. It was all because of.. jealousy? He opened his mouth as if he was about to say something but Riley's words cutting through the air snapped his attention. Looking up, he saw her and could see that she was shaken. Unharmed, but shaken.

Despite this, she seemed rather determined to get down to business.

Frowning at her words, the dragon let out a sigh and nodded.

"Alright. But don't underestimate what I'm capable of," he said. He knew Andeon was someone to be reckoned with, but the red dragon was no pushover in a fight. As for the bit on Malodore, he had no objections to that. If Andeon had reacted that way just from seeing himself and Riley, no doubt more than tables would be flipped.

As Riley came sweeping back in, Christof immediately lowered the chalkboard, face still flushing as she reached to touch his face, his eyes locked on her's as he quickly rubbed the words away with his sleeve without looking down, I... yes, Mistress. Had to repair my leg earlier. Have one handy. Need- the thought cut off, brows furrowing as he rejected the word 'mirror' - help with face stitching, though.

Mouth trembling between emotions, his eyes darted to Jericho anxiously and then down to Riley's phone as she began madly texting. Is... Master Malodore in danger? From this new student? Why?

Riley rolled her eyes at Jericho's expected reaction, and turned her head to look at him with a side glance. Of course I am not underestimating you. Were you blind when I put you in the line of fire, to distract him from hurting Christof any further? I know you can take care of yourself - but that doesn't mean you need to be looking for trouble. Not to mention, you can't be put back together as easily as Christof.

She turned back to the patchwork, her eyes tilted in sadness once more. Okay, give me the needle and thread. I'm not very good at this, but it will have to do until Malodore arrives.

She pointedly ignored Christof's questions.

Jericho couldn't help but chuckle a bit at her reasoning there.

"True enough," he said before sounding more serious, "I'll be sure to be careful. Besides, I wouldn't want to end up with detention or something over the likes of him."

Taking a moment to watch her look over Christof, he asked quietly, "Why did he even come here?"

Obediently, the hunchback tucked the chalkboard away, rooting in his pockets with freshly trembling hands fore his needle and thread before offering it up to his Mistress with baited breath, his heart racing. Y-yes, Mistress...

Detention. Riley felt a warm flush of amusement fill her at the mere idea of someone scoring something as mundane and trivial as detention after an altercation with Andeon. At least now, he was under the (mostly) watchful eye of the faculty, and his skull pin was inhibiting him just as it did all of the students. She hoped that alone would annoy him enough to want to leave. Andeon was never one to take restraint lightly.

She threaded the needle, just as Junko had taught her, and set about the task of stitching Christof's face loosely back into place. It was no work of art, and the stitches would have to be completely removed and redone when Malodore arrived, but it would keep the patchwork from flopping around with half a face, and that was enough.

She focused so heavily on the stitching, that it gave her an excuse to, once more, ignore the questions about Andeon. Once she felt the job was acceptably complete, she tied off the thread and handed the items back to Christof.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to speak with-

With who?

With everyone.

-I have to get my affairs in order. She amended, though that sounded a little too dark for the tasks she had in mind.

Text me when Malodore arrives, and I will return.

The dragon took note that she had ignored the question regarding Andeon. Frowning, he just watched her stitch Christof back together, then frowned as she got back up.

"Alright," he said, not really liking this situation as a whole. The way she had worded things sounded a little ominous as well.

Christof sat patiently, wincing only now and then as she stitched but mostly his eyes were locked on his Mistress's concentrating face. The lopsided patch job twitched up into a smile as she finished, his brows creasing. I... we will make sure that bully knows who this campus belongs to, right Mistress? There was no doubt in his mind Riley could take Andeon. She was his Mistress, after all. She was smart and beautiful and above all else powerful and vengeful. Who did that new guy think he was? He felt proud that at least his shovel had connected. He could never imagine his Mistress in defeat. It just didn't compute.

And he glad that Andeon had only torn apart his face and not snapped the shovel in two. That was also something to be thankful for. Faces could be put back together again. Shovels were trickier without the right glue, and even so the overall strength of the tool would have been ruined.

He watched her rise to leave, expression sagging a bit unevenly. She hadn't stitched his mouth... but he was used to that one. He'd tent to it later.

He finally rose shakily to his feet, shifting closer to Jericho to watch her go before holding up a freshly chalked question:

Should we start
another game
or something?

Once Riley was out of sight, Jericho turned his attention back towards Christof, looking down at the little chalkboard. With the amount of tension that had been going on, it might be a good idea to lighten the air with a game. Even though the only ones affected by said tension at the booth were Chris and himself, it'd still be nice he supposed.

"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. What do we have to use for one?" he asked, knowing the igor probably had the best idea of what they had brought to the open house.

The scarecrow came upon another booth. Oh, there were so many, how splendid! Eracs wondered what this one was about. He read the sign ... fitness.

Fitness? What was that? Living in a shed most of your life you didn't learn things. Like words. Or fitness. Had he known what it was he'd wonder what it would do for him seeing he was a bunch of animated hay.

He approached the first person that seemed to look like they knew something about this club aka anyone. "Why hello! What is this fit-e-ness club about?"

Before he could get much of an answer, Jericho saw someone approach the booth. Fixing the chairs back into an upright position, he walked to the table.

"Hey there!" he grinned before blinking at their question. That was a strange way to say fitness, "The fitness club is all about keeping your body in a good condition through excersize. We have a number of different activities and equipment to help people out."

Taking one of the pamphlets, he offered it to the scarecrow, "This kinda explains the basics of what we do."

Christof thought about it for a bit longer than he needed to, mind still buzzing from all that had just happened. At the sudden appearance of another Visitor, though, he jumped, pulling his scarf up to try to hide his butchered face before letting Jericho handle the scarecrow-boil as he busied himself with boxes.

He hoped Riley had gone off to find Malodore. It would be difficult to help with the booth with a face that looked like it had been through a blender and stapled back together.

Mitsu hadn't been sure where to go but was hoping to find something safe. Passing up a few booths Mitsu paused at the fitness booth once again hoping the danger had passed for now. Please no more cannon cats....the thought made a shiver run down her spine. They would no doubt haunt her dreams.

It seemed that the dragon...his name was Jericho right?, was there again and the patchwork, Christof was still standing by. It looked like something might have happened, Mitsu couldn't be for sure since Christof was busying himself....didn't the stitches on his face look a little different?
PostPosted: Thu Jun 09, 2011 2:08 pm

After his little explanation, Jericho spotted two others heading towards the booth. Looking up, he saw that it was Mitsu and Shun from before. With a grin, he waved at the two.

"Hey guys. Back again?" he greeted.

Behind them, he could see a bit of commotion going on over at the desu booth. While he had to wonder what was happening, he figured it would probably be best that he didn't delve too deeply there. Something foul had to be going on.

Since he didn't have much of an idea of where to go, Shun just followed Mitsu quietly, pausing as he saw the fitness booth once more. The dragon was still here, as was the patchwork. It was hard to tell, but he too kind of picked up that something was different about the igor. Hm.

The lupine's gaze was shifting about, her nose sniffing at the air for any indication of the creatures that had been here previously. She caught faint scents here and there, the fur bristling on her tail, but she calmed a bit when she realized those scents were old.

"N..no cannon cats?" Was the first thing Mitsu asked, her voice thick with worry. It was obvious the girl had gone through a bit more trauma since she had been there the last time if the bandage on her arm and leg was any indication.
