End of Day 4The sole surviving twosome looked at one another, ears pricked for signs of life. With a blast of fire, Hades appeared, chuckling. “Bye, poochie,” he said, waving at the little white dog. Bolt however, grinned. “I don’t think so,” he said.
Hades’ grin faltered, and he glared. How had he protected himself from it? Sulking, he retreated to the shadows. “Just you wait…”
Simba and Bolt smirked at one another, confident they’d foiled the plans. But a deep laugh rang through the air, and Jafar and Maleficent appeared, looking confident. “You may have stopped our poisoner, but we can still.” She pointed at Bolt, and waved her staff. He yelped and fell to the ground. Simba went to help him, but it was too late. Stag had been killed.
Maleficent grinned, looking accomplished, but suddenly she too doubled over in pain. “What?” VDV said, enraged as she died. Facilier appeared, grinning and twirling a voodoo card between his fingers. He mock saluted as she fell. Jafar glared and stepped back into the shadows, vanishing along with his poisoner.
Simba, tired of all the death, jumped into action, clamping down on Dr. Facilier’s neck. Though Bolt was gone, it was what he had wanted. Rhed fell, a ghost of a grin still on his lips.
Though Simba still stood, it was clear who the victor was. Jafar and Hades stepped forward, arms crossed and grinning. The lion lowered his ears and bowed his head, acknowledging defeat.
