Mike walked forward not afraid and check each bottle. He stopped at one and picked it up off the ground sniffing the top. After reading the label, he said, "This must be it. 'Ravishing lilack' Jack's father's and uncle's favorite brand. How it got on this ship, I have no idea."

Alex looked at the bottle and nodded,"I smell poison..." she walked past Mike and saw a bag of herbs and medicines to make poison."Look for anything that might belong to Jack's Uncle."

"Knowing his uncle, all of it probably belongs to him." Mike knelt picking up the herbs.

Alex nodded and she saw a bag clothes and she thought she heard something behind her,"Mike...stand and dont let your guard down...cause we have special quest on board."

Mike slowly stood reaching behind him at his back. He waited for Alex to go.

Alex walked a little and she looked behind some crates and when she turned around to face Mike, Jack's Uncle was behind him,"Tell me why are you on this ship?!"

"Wait." Mike pushed Alex back kneeling next to them. "Its not him," he said pulling the pirate hat off to reveal a dead skeleton. He picked up the bottle again and wiped his finger over it then licked his finger. "I thought so. Its a chemical that makes an object impossible to attract dust. These bottles could have been here for any number of years. They could have already been injected with the poison." Mike stood throwing the bottle at the wall and looked at her. "We'll make sure no one else is on the sip. When we get to port, we'll send out scouts to see if anyone has been following the ship's course."

Alex sighed and nodded,"Okay...but still who was the last person to be down here though other than Jack and maybe the crew?"

Mike frowned thinking. "Before him, this ship was his fathers. But even then, his uncle was never allowed to sail with jack's father. The only thing I can think of, would be his uncle would to have snuck in here years ago." Mike paced thinking harder. "And if that is true, then his uncle wasn't planning on killing jack." His eyes widened and he turned to Alex. "He was planning to kill Jack's father. That's how he died!" Mike slapped his forehead. "Of course! When Jack's father died, the doctor said it was from a poison over dose. Jack's uncle must have planted the poison here years ago."

"Damn it...so his Uncle wasn't doing this poison thing for Jack only for his father....great lets just leave." Alex put her pistols away and she frowned looking at the ground.

"Alex, you don't get it." Mike grabbed her shoulders. "Jack's uncle could have guess Jack would one day drink it. No, not at first he intended to kill jack, but sometime later he must of realized. Therefore, if Jack dies," he looked at her. "Everything goes to his uncle. Including family. Kinna and Katey, John, Logan, his uncle will own them. And if my guess is right, then most likely someone is trying to make that happen sending traders after us."

Alex sighed,"Well I am Jack's wife and I will not let that happen, over my dead body...I do get it a lot actually cause my father tried to take over my family too.I am the only that survived though." Alex rubbed her neck and walked around Mike.
