Which is weird, I'm getting richer and richer lately. Even without my recent Hack. I already had a bit of a sum compared to most time.

And all I do is post lately. I guess BG and zOMG! nerfs ARE taking their toll on gaians. Let's see what happens when Alchemy is also around and rich users stop trading with each other as much to instead craft new Pale Marionettes and NPC companions.

An odd set of thoughts that won't win me any popularity...

I always felt that the gold grant in zOMG led to a leveling in the playing field. Instead of having to constantly spend GC to move towards a goal, you could simply play your way. Now it seems to go back to the original gold starvation unless you pay a wad of GC. /random

As for shadow orbs, I feel like they justify me not playing for nearly a year. I would have complained about this in the past but now... I just feel justified in leaving the game for so long. With the gold grant nerfed, I feel justified in not playing because I have no real reason to play. With the shadow orbs, I feel no bite because of it when I pick the game up upon the new area release. After all, my current orbs and any orbs I would have generated are useless.

That is... Unless I missed some kind of exchange between the orbs.

I get those ads daily ever since a girl asked to up their chance of appearing. Quite an angel she is. Pan too, for listening.
Got a gown two days ago. Easy 80k. 1k every other time.

And yes, it seems most non-fashionable items are in less demand. What can I say, the populance is spoiled. Hell, don't you even dare release a single pose MC. People will rip your head off and you'll be out of a job.

Don' call them uncool though. I like th- uh- mos- uh... several of the MC's...
Okay fine, some are crudy jobs with terrible themes, but they're still in competition with several other items that steal the spotlight.

Stating the truth will only gain popularity between fan-drones, mind you.

Criticism is always welcome among any sensible group. And I have to say, until the Ghi Orbs have an actual alternate use, you have nothing but a good foundation in which to build that one in particular.
Any progress made beyond reaching Cl 10 with all rings is entirely useless until either a recipe demands orbs as a component, or that orb exchange (which the devs said they wouldn't implement right away with DMS' release) is actually out there.

Doesn't mean it's okay to say hoarding orbs is a bad thing. Hoarding anything is always a good thing when it doesn't affect you negatively to and you wouldn't mind in the first place. I mean, just look what happened with anyone who hoarded Towns junk recently. It's a matter of "you could never know when it'll be useful".

Leaving condescension aside...
Do you REALLY think there's any need to be paranoid or that gaia would care too much?

I mean, other than two ridiculously blatant cases of retarded botting (and while they lasted, those bots became a play thing for the community, looking at the way the things worked, bringing huge mobs to kill them...) which were vastly documented by the community; and one that wasn't so blatant but had the misfortune of being seen by a particular z!F regular; I've never heard of any action of any kind being done against anyone for anything done on zOMG! 'any ever'.

In fact, I'd not be surprised if in a private talk, several mods and maybe a admin or two would admit that what matters is having the rule there, the appearance; because they won't bother with the boring work of checking for the unreported cases of gold funneling - which relies on guessing.

But regardless, I really can't be bothered to actually go around supporting the practice. Nor that you'd be unjustly punished if found using 6 mules to farm gold.

And pointing out the obvious... I stated that I understand the point but I don't like the whole Schrodinger's bannable offense. So it basically boils down to another reason for me not to play.

It is also the only instance of a penalty for using mules, at least that I can remember.

As for needing to be paranoid, I was once put on a three day ban for telling somebody to STOP being a douche in a debate in zOMG. Do you really think I trust the community and its mods? Lemme put it this way, I don't count myself among the lucky who get away with anything. Hell, I've had instances in my life where I've been punished for nothing.

So yea, call me superstitious if you must but eh, it is what I've noticed.
