Thought the Numel didn't shy away from that look. He is a wild pokemon after all ..., and he lived in Purgatory. Hatred ...heated looks like that was no more than fire underneath the lava.
Nothing to him at all ....as he snorted again ...releasing another thick ring of smoke ...as the pokemon made sure to match glare for glare. Alex after having such a quick victory would return form his first trial by fire ...a failure. The helicopter would go upwards then leaving the Numel behind, and the corpse of his pokemon to be ravaged by the wilds that he had lived and died in.

A helicopter could be seen in distance steadily getting closer. As the helicopter landed Shadow took his time to exit knowing that he was on his own from here on. Here I go. Shadow slowly started walking through the desert, one foot infront of the other waiting to encounter a Pokemon. It was hot but it was slowly approaching night, the afternoon set the sky an orangeish yellow mixed with the heat.

[Event post - anytime you run into a pokemon and you aren't greet with stats ...that means you aren't battling the pokemon up front. That also means you have choices to make and will be required to Rp. For depending on how you post can determine what things happen or don't happen.]
A flurry of motion after the helicopter landed would bring a Rattatta into view for a moment. The pokemon that had been out foraging had been frighten by the sudden winds and wide shadow as it looked for shelter from what it fear might be a Rufflet gliding on the winds.

Shadow looked down on the small Rattatta, who was cowering in fear. He couldn't help but feel bad for the small thing and he crouched down. "Hey little buddy, you don't have to be scared. I won't hurt you." Shadow slowly removed his left hand from his pocket as he held it out slightly infront of his body waiting to see how the Rattatta would respond.

The pokemon responded as any corner rat would ...for that had to be the case for why it hadn't gone underground. It would take it's small teeth and quite literally reaches out and bite the hand that was offered to it. For after all the pokmeon knew no better ..it was wild and was everything that it was not.
This terrified the pokemon as it's small teeth would aim for flesh and if he wasn't fast enough he would feel those teeth sink into his flesh.
[Trainer injury - when a trainer is injured 3 times ...they will pass out & their fate would be left in limbo. So, in this case, to avoid the bite you must out roll me.]

Shadow watched as the little Rattatta get to bite him.As a natural reaction he tried to pull back and avoid the lunging pokemon but he was unsure he would was fast enough to.Remain calm, don't get angry, try and avoid fighting for now.

The pokemon's teeth would miss as the Rattatta hisses and its whisker stood out straight. It was scared that much was for sure as the winds would whip again as the helicopter took off again. His ride home was leaving then, and how he was going to call it back ...was something he was going to have to figure out later as the Rattatta seems to hold it's ground ...with the iron bird gone ..it had the entire desert to run.
And all it required was that it turned its back on the boy, but the pokemon was still too timid to do such a thing as it simply held it's ground. Not sure how to act at this moment.

Shadow was completely unphased as he helicopter behind him took off. His hair began to flap about from the wind but he remained still. As he watched the Rattatta he held out both arms, this time out of the Rattattas reach, and smiled a fake smile. "Would you like to come with me? You will be much safer with me then out here, and you will be able to get stronger and evolve." Shadow hated smiling even if it was fake.

The Rattatta looked him in the eye ...started to crane his neck as though he was looking for him to touch him ...and then without a warning turned and actually ran. It ran as fast as it possible could ....without a look backwards as it would seem that though he had tried ....Shadow wasn't going to capture this pokemon so easily be simply trying to talk to him.
This was his first encounter.

Shadow watched the Rattatta turn and flee."Too bad it would have been a tragedy when it fell in battle. Shadow yawned as his facial expression returned to his normal blank look.Shadow slowly placed both hands back in his pockets as he started walking through the desert once again. The sun was high in the sky and it was beaming down on him.

For the moment, only the scorching sun would beam down on him as it would seem for the moment that the pokemon were not up or they were keeping out of sight.
A sudden wind would blast ...then with a heat in the face that could blister the skin.

As Shadow made his way through the sandy desert he began to question if there was actually any life there.He was told that he would come here to catch a second pokemon but as of now he had only seen one pokemon and it ran away after trying to bite him. The sun felt much cooler once he finally got used to the heat, but it was unpleasant to say the least, especially with accompanied by a blistering wind. He just continued walking through the sand trying to move deeper in the island as he kept his head down to avoid any serious facial injuries.

THough that wasn't much of a problem considering that there was nothing around to impede him. If you go straight, eventually you should get to somewhere new ...unless the desert itself was endless.
Thus, the sun glares down and does it best to sap his strength and to drench him with his own sweat ...for what is a desert but hot.

Shadow started to feel the sun wrath after walking for quite awhile. His face was covered in sweat and his pace had slowed with every couple passing minutes.Stupid desert,if I don't catch something really good I'm going to be pissed. Shado tried to occupy his mind with various throughts about pokemon pulling his attention away from the heat and the scorching hot destert.
