The mood started to pick up again, for Nau anyway. She could feel Azura's fear from her words. No living things to eat, eh? The best fruit Nau would ever have? The feline gave a subtle, almost unnoticable grin.
"Ohh, that's a shame... I was hoping there would be at least a small pig running around. Or piranha in a stream.. Or maybe a kitten. Yes~" she purrs at the thought, further accentuating the fright she was trying to stir up in Azura. "Maybe there is a cat about these woods that I can sink my teeth into~"

Azura gasped a little, she didn't so much care about the piranha, due to them being violent killers just like sharks, which were enemy's of hers of the ocean world! But then she said kitten. A kitten! She quickly shook her head. "Noo! Not a kitten! ....Wait, why would you want to eat you're own kind? " She blinked, wait a minute, she was just trying to get under her skin again! Oh how mean! "There are very large animals here, though...And some 'kittens' here would make you there dinner sooner before you got a chance to attack." She said, now there was a small grin forming at her own features! Large tigers, panthers, all the rainforrest's creatures lived here and she was friends with every single one of them.

Nau nods. "Very good, Azura, you didn't totally[/l] freak out about the kittens." she smiles, before digging her claws back into a tree. "Fruit it is, then." Nau starts to climb up. "Hmm... So, what do you even do?" she asks Azura as she climbs. "I mean, I already told you what I do.."

Azura just playfully crossed her arms a bit, knowing she was just being playful."Really? Great!! " She cheered, clasping her hands together happily. "What types do you like? There are coconuts, banana's, papaya and other fruits around here. " She said, before the question came. It was strange she never really got asked this question very often. "Um..Well...! I am what all these humans call me, An animal activist? Something like that..! Most the time, I spend out at sea stopping whalers and yes, fishermen too..They say it's to live, I say it's not. Just as a human wishes to live, so do the fish and every living being on this planet. They feel pain, both mentally and physically, just as we do. But, those humans ignore that...I'm trying..though..Not to go after the 'innocent' fishermen, and instead, focusing mainly on the truly evil ones...Those who kill the whales and Dolphins and other sea life for fun or eating..I don't let them get away with that.." Dolphin and Whale slaughter's were all her most hated enemy's, and she would never,ever go easy and forgive them. Not after all she had seen...never.
"A-Anyway..Besides that..When i'm not out at sea, i'm here working on my home. It still has a bit of work to make complete, then after that...I don't really know. I'm always very busy,.."

Nau had stopped climbing, holding herself in place as she listened to Azura. It made her think; Nau was kind of like a fisherman too. She goes off as her lord and father commands it, and consumes the dreams and lifeforce of complete strangers. For as long as she could remember, that was what she did, and she never dared to question it. It never really bothered her.. unless of course a Dream Vampire were to force them into sleep, rather than take whie they were asleep or during battle. She hated dirty plays like that.
As a matter of fact... Where did the dreams even go? Would they still exist? Would they be protected? Or would they be torn and prodded by her father and creator? This was a tad too much for Nau to think about while sticking to a tree.
One thing was very certain, though. At some point, Nau was going to hug Azura. Just not yet. She'd fall, and that would be bad.
"..Hey Azura.." Nau finally spoke. "..That was, ahh... Touching. What you said. As fer the little beach house... Mind if I help with it? I mean, work's a lot better with partners, an' I need somethin' to do anyways, so how bout it?"

Azura blinked her deep sea-blue eyes, feeling a small blush creep up on her cheeks. She wasn't trying to impress with words or anything, she just kind of said what she felt exactly. But, it was always nice to hear even a small compliment like that. "Really? Um...Thank you..You are the first to say something like that to me." I instead of what she normally got when speaking of saving and protecting the lives of animals. "Most people are annoyed when I speak that way.." Though, she dismissed that subject with a small smile as she looked up to the neko clinging to the tree. "You mean it?? I...I would love the help! I think it would be a lot of fun..It's all made of bamboo and what ever I can find from nature. So it is a little more difficult to make, but, well..I managed! " Though it may not have been who she hoped would help her with her little house, it was still help and a chance to have real company, rather then always being alone. She had always had a sweet little image in her head of her and a certain silver haired teen working on it, but that was, much like everything else she ever imagined in her mind, just that. a dream...
"It's not far from here, actually..You can see it in the distance from here. See the flag at the top in the distance? " The flag was black in color, with white text and a dolphin pattern, which said "Protector of the Sea". Yeah, she made that one day. The flag stood out decently well, at the very top of her home.

Nau decided to climb higher. Indeed, there was a bamboo shack of a beach house with a fairly pitched dolphin flag. "...Wow, you really are a fish activist. Remind me to never bring my lunches here!" she jokes. "In any case, I'm definitely helping you out with this house of yours. It'll at least help me sort a couple things out."
The feline then spots a few bananas and grins. She grabs them from their vine and hops down. Landing in a crouch, she stands slowly, stretching just a bit with a sigh. "Hmm... So, when do we go to work, boss?" she smiles.

Azura giggled softly, nodding to her joke. She did have pretty good hearing, that was for certain. "Mm hmm..! I always will be, despite what the humans there wish! " She said, smiling now. "Thank you..I really appreciate this. It may be small, but there is enough room to live comfortably. The living room sofa I made can easily be a bed for you. " Unlike normal sofa's, this was quite wide and big, but most importantly, comfortable!
"When ever, I just work on it from time to time. So there is no rush at all, it's when ever you feel like it. Though after all that we been through, resting sound's better right now! "

Nau nods. "Yeah, a nice catnap sounds good right about now. Heroism and play are such tiring things, and dream hunting makes it even more taxing.." she frowns for a few seconds. "But I'm glad to know your couch is free. As for housework, we'll just see what needs doing.." the feline smirks, walking ahead. "To the dolphin hut!"

"It really is..! Just about every time I come back from my Dolphin saving, I just want to take a long nap. " She giggled, thinking back on the ruins of her home. Her bed was a giant clam, which formally was her mothers so long ago. Now, she took it up as her own, and most favorite thing in the ruins that wasn't destroyed. "I wish I had my real bed here, it's so much more softer and safer feeling...Can you guess what it is? " She had to ask, maybe make a silly conversation of it.
"Though, I was wondering! " She said as she began to walk after her, a small laugh was heard as Nau said those last words. Dolphin Hut, that was a cute name for it! "Do you have any home or place to stay, other then here now? I mean, if you didn't, maybe we can build you you're own little hut out here too? " She offered, obviously she was lonely out here, who could blame her? Living alone like this you're entire life could eventually catch up to a person.

"Ohh, you like guessing games too, eh?" Nau grins ahead. "Did you live in a shell of some sort? Perhaps a clam with nice furnishings, couple of pillows, lush blue blanket, stuff like that?"
The feline nearly stopped in her tracks, though, when Azura asked if she was staying anywhere, as well as offering to help build her a hut here. She had something of a home in her realm, where Dream Vampires were created and sent out to collect. But... What if all this Dream Vampire stuff wasn't...good?
"...A-Actually, I'm kind of a, uhm, nomad. Yeah, I usually find my way, but... Say, you wanna move me in, that's fine."

Azura giggled, lefting her hand to cover her mouth as she did. "Mm! Sometimes! Where my Kingdom is, at sea, my bed is a giant clam..It's very cozy! " To her it was! "It even closes, so i'm safe from any intruders or sharks and various other sea creatures. But it's best for keeping out any bits of light from above. " Not that much light reached, but there was still some. And that little bit seemed to be a lot when her eyes adjusted to it. She wouldn't mention the fact that her home was in ruins,from so long ago, due to wanting to keep the happiness, rather then dulling it down with disappointing old news.
At her last words, the young princess blinked, tilting her head faintly in curiosity. "Mm? Nomad? I've...never heard of that term before. But, um, besides that! This island is...as you can see, very big. You could live anywhere you wanted here. There are many water falls, like the one here, and the one near my home..So if you want to be further into the forest or away a little, we can set up you're own place just about anywhere. Close to food and water."

"I thought so! Yer an honest-ta-********* princess!" Nau grinned. No ordinary mermaid would've been held captive. She knew Azura was a special kind of mermaid. "I just knew it.. Ah? Uhm.. A nomad's kind of like a traveler, except they're always on foot. But now, I know I'm definitely staying." She glances over her shoulder, to Azura.
"You were just held prisoner, like many princesses in those kinds of fairy tales." Nau begins to explain. "And judging from what you've said, you live alone on this island. If those scientist creeps with those evil guns track you down, they'd probably succeed and do all kinds'a crazy experiments! Like, like probing or something. And I'm not lettin' you get probed!" she grins. "Princess Azura the Mermaid, consider me your new royal guard!"
Oh, she was going to regret that in the future, she just knew it.

Azura blinked a bit, she didn't expect really any reaction to the Kingdom bit, with so many other Princess's, Kings, Queens around in this world, it was hardly big news anymore! Though in her case, with her Kingdom destroyed, she wasn't sure what to consider herself anymore.Someday, she planned to -try- and rebuild it, if she could make a home out of bamboo and tree's, she could certainly work on the destroyed kingdom. Or so she told her self. "Ahh.." She blushed a little,her cheeks becoming a soft rosy color. "It's nothing special..I like to be just like, well, myself. No royal treatments like most Princess's seem to enjoy." She said, smiling slightly. As she explained what a Nomad was, she nodded. "Ohh. Hee, I suppose there are still some things I need to learn when it comes to terms of the...um..above world? "
Then to her next statement, well..That was a tad-bit creepy! Definitely not the reason why she was taken! "U-um...You just creeped me out a little, Nau..! " She said playfully. "No, it's not due to a 'Princess' thing, they are after any one different, to there specs. Like you, me, and many other's. My race are called Serenitians, we all have our own special ability or natural born to be form. The Serenitians of the Kingdom of Serenity have their own, going from various mythological animals as the humans put it. The Queen of Serenity can turn into a Unicorn, and her sister the Phoenix.While my kind are strictly born as..well, mermaids, merman..This is why ShinRa's scientists are after us. And why I want you to be extra careful, now that they know of you.. " She frowned..
But the frown didn't last long, it was replaced by yet another small blush. "Oh, I don't think you want that job, I'm a twenty-four-seven job." She giggled. "Thank you though, Nau. But I won't need any guarding. With what I do you wouldn't be able to come, after all! "

"Serenitians... Heh! At least you're based on animal folklore." Nau smiles. "Dream Vampires are usually created from emotion. I'm sure you've guessed by now that I was made from envy, but I have sisters made from peace and fear. Weird, huh? But anyways, those creeper probe scientists don't have a chance against me." she nods, still not understanding why Azura had been taken captive.
Her enthusiasm dropped with Azura's last statement. "...Oh, yeah, water... I've already been soaked twice on this island. I don't want anymore surprise baths... But, hey, I'm more than happy to guard you on the island anyways!" she grins. "The Protector of the Sea has ground support!"
