Random Numbers I hadn't done much in illustrator myself either... That was basically my first private work I did in illustrator... pentool ftw Pen tool is like... I can't even think of an appropriate comparison. It's so hard to learn but once you get the hang of it, it's dead useful. I had to make a teacup on the project I'm doing for school right now. The handle looks a little wonky but I'm gonna say that that's okay because it's for a space-themed restaurant thing. :B
I'm a fan of the brush tool, so long as I remember to bring my tablet to class. @ w@;

But for illustrator i'm trying to keep my illustration all just shapes and creating shapes with that (and using the occasional gradient) In-co: I dont know flash, so for vector its illustrator for me razz

Produces much cleaner lines and it's got the free-form way of rasters. I really like it, so long as I have my tablet. My school's mice suck for drawing freely.

I got a tablet myself at home aswell... hardly used it yet though.. I nice a4 size tablet, works perfect and was rather cheap. I need to redownload Illustrator at home, the one I had and installed didn't show any menu's... so that wasn't getting me anywhere.
