ტრεჟค Nap time.

Aren shrugged at her remark, grinning ear to ear. "Okay then, I won't hit a drunk woman." He said, making no promises that he'd stick to not hitting men, drunk or not. Actually, he was more liable to cut into a heavy drinker, just to get them to halt in their yowling. "But just to hit someone for the sheer pleasure of it..." He couldn't really say that there weren't a few he'd be unwilling to do it to, but to admit to such loathing was not becoming of his character. Rather than paint himself a rogue, he allowed the statement to trail off.

When she spoke of "American Pre-packaged tea," Aren let out a rolling chuckle, reminded of someone from home. "Aaki was like that..... old bat loved her sun tea, and rarely shared... though Móáhk - sorry, Shandra, " That name felt foreign on his tongue. "was allowed a fair share when she stayed with us on the rez." Aaki really had liked the girl, and had always told Aren to be on the lookout for her, because their paths would cross again at a very critical part of his life. Know-it-all. He thought, reflecting on how true that statement had been.

An eyebrow arched, no, crawled up towards his hairline, threatening to disappear underneath the thick curtain of dark hair atop his head. "I don't know." A grin pinned itself into his features, how easily she brought that reaction. "Are you?" He asked coyly. Note to self: it'd probably be best to stop soon. Best not whore it up with the team leader, especially considering what happened with Móáhk... That so was not happening again. Mistake much?

Had he known her better, his fingers would have forced her pout back up into a smile. But he didn't, and he'd rather not have her singe his fingers for being too playful and familiar with her. "Aww.. you need someone to kiss it and make it better?" He cracked, fully intending to haul her off to Shandra if she answered in the affirmative. Kissing two people in one day? Yeah... while it was great in theory, mucking that much up on his first full day as an Omega wasn't exactly conducive to not being marked as the Omega manwhore.

She shivered from his close proximity, a small detail he never missed if he succeeded in that. Not that he had truly been aiming for sensuality, what was up with him today? "Oh, so you're promising now?" He was probably taking things just a tad bit too far for this to remain casual, and he definitely shouldn't be so promiscuous when he hadn't felt right all day. Everything just seemed more... intense.

Her eyes had changed a bit; perhaps, she too realized that they shouldn't be so flirty with each other. "Ah... but dancing in and out of flames is something I've always been gifted with." To say he'd thought of changing his tribal name to "Dances with Fire" would have been cheesy, clichéd, so he left it out. "I prefer the heat." Rather, he depended on it in the midst of winter.

A chuckle emanated from the deeper cavity of his chest, and he did a slight shake of his head. "Sounds like a match in progress." To say anything further while he felt so off wouldn't be right to her. And as big of an a** as he could be, being a heart breaker wasn't one of his goals -- not that he thought Cissa would break so easily.

He nearly choked at the term she'd used for herself, and couldn't help what slipped out next. "Then remind me not to play the role of your husband." Dimples on either side of his mouth marked his mirth with the blonde. "I am speaking something that is called by many names, Pikuni, Siksiká, or what you would call Blackfoot. When I say, ki'somma, I am calling you sun, if I call you waapinako, aapinákosi, áisopoyiinakowa, or sopoyiiako.... it means dawn. You remind me very much of sunlight, so mostly I use my language, which is more fitting because it has a musical note to it." He left out the part where he'd called her blondie.

As if his energy had been sucked from him from a great vacuum in the sky, Aren yawned, the movement forcing his whole body to stretch, his hand releasing its hold on Aapinákosi. "I usually condone naps for myself, but... I think I'm going to go to sleep... as soon as I find a room." A frown cut between his brows as he thought of where he'd slept the night before. "Pretty sure I can't sleep where I did last night." Antonio might cry otherwise.

"See you around, ákaawaapinakowa." But the glance back at her might have indicated she was welcome to join.

And despite the silent invite, Aren made his way outside, choosing for the moment to bask in the sunlight whilst catching up on his sleep.

Bianca was, without a doubt, a woman of many words. It was a stark contrast to Dominik’s own usual character, though not one that he didn’t welcome; she seemed animated, clearly very chipper in demeanor and eager for conversation...and the Slovene was just as content to listen as she was to speak. He took another lofty drag on his cigarette, drawing the cherry nearly to the filter, and reflected for a moment over her insight into the subject of vices,

”Mhm,” He breathed, pushing another cloud of smoke into the air beside him,”I guess that’s true.” The answer would likely be satisfactory despite how shallow it was, how vague and devoid of real meaning. After all, Dominik couldn’t exactly add any personal garnish to the idea; he didn’t really love anyone, terrible as it might seem, and therefore lacked the ability to pull any personal emotions or memories out of her words. He liked Gasper...tolerated his own habits; the cigars, his affinity to woman and simultaneous aversion to commitment...along with his total lack of parenting skill. Does that count?, he wondered idly, pulling a bit more life from the marlboro angled between his fingertips and again relinquishing the smoke in a direction away from Bianca’s face.

A smile...acutely faint, but sincere, wafted over his features at her admission to being new, ”Yeah? Me too; I arrived maybe...an hour ago, I’d guess.” Time had been hard to keep track of, now that he really considered it; minutes seemed to both linger and whiz by, melding together and forming what was all and all a very confusing recollection of his arrival at the house. Maybe that fact should have sparked alarm in Dominik, but he instead found himself far more interested in what Bianca went on to say. The group he’d alluded to earlier was starting to move steadily towards the porch, and the girl that led them offered a cheerful wave, which the young man mimicked half-heartedly. Bianca was right...even from this distance, he could tell that she was quite attractive, though he didn’t miss the unusual whimsy which laced her statements about the woman. His olive-hued gaze slipped to her, curious, trying to gauge at the almost intimate feelings which seemed to linger behind her statements. Perhaps he was reading into things too deeply...though, whether he was or not, it wasn’t really his business. Nor was it in his usual nature to press the matter or verbalize any questions pertaining to it. Instead, Dominik kept to his vague manner of responding to her, gaze turning back to those on the beach,

”Yeah, she’s pretty...and I’m sure just as nice as you say.” When she pinpointed the others he only nodded, recognizing Dmitri as the man he’d passed on his way into the house. The ‘crunch’ which permeated from the apple as Bianca took a bite from it brought his attention back to her in full, and he returned the cheerful smile she threw at him- though Dominik’s, in accordance with his usual mannerisms, was much more demure... granted, not at all hollow or unfriendly. She was certainly a spirited young woman, he mused, and not in a suffocating way either.

”You’re fine,” He said in response to her apology, again offering a casual wave of his hand, as if to bat her doubts away ”And...eh, no friends to speak of. Not yet, anyway.” The last bit was said with nonchalance, partnered with an equally careless shrug, ”I haven’t been here very long though, and everyone seems quite friendly...or, at the very least, interesting.” Friendly wasn’t the best way to describe some of the people he’d met already...though that didn’t equate to him disliking them. Indeed, Cissa had proved herself a very entertaining person in his eyes...and she’d certainly not achieved it through being overly friendly. Quite the opposite, really- though her ire fell where it was deserved, as far as he could tell. Bianca turned to wave at Bella for a moment, and when her sight drifted back to him he took notice of the absence of light in her eyes. It was...odd, because her smile seemed rather genuine, and his mind immediately chalked the odd coloring up to her mutation. Granted, doing that only made him wonder what the nature of it was- but asking that question would only result in him having to explain his own abilities...and then he’d be back amidst constantly revisited topics which made him feel something like a broken record. Name, team, mutation; all answers he’d likely have to sift through numerous times before the trip was through...and, at present, he wasn’t in the mood to do so, and thus quelled his curiosities about the odd flecks of darkness dappling within the girl’s irises.

She asked him if he’d like to meet the woman, Bella and, seeing no reason to deny the invitation, Dominik nodded. But then Bianca moved to hinder a yawn...and the act drew the Slovenian’s own awareness to how tired he was starting to feel. Thus, her resulting invitation to join her once she moved to sit on a nearby bench was eagerly accepted...though the said eagerness likely wasn’t so apparent to her, as he only muttered a mere, ”Sure.” in response.

Even as Dominik sank into the seat beside the girl, he felt his eyelids growing heavy, and brought a hand to his face to rub at them. If she’d meant the invitation to be in any way flirtatious, the young man didn’t catch on to it. His focus had tapered with his growing exhaustion. The cigarette in his hand had burned out, and he ashed it lazily on the arm of the bench before tossing it into an abutting trash bin. ”It’s been a long day.” He muttered, eyes scanning the horizon, lids falling half-mast in protest to the encroaching sunlight. It felt suddenly like it should be evening already, ”It’s early in the day but I’m still worn out. I guess the flight took something out of me.” And then, despite his inward aversion to the subject overall, Dominik’s curiosity finally won out, ”So, what team are you on? I’m an Omega.”

Omega - Bedroom - Today Was the Worst Day Since Yesterday

User ImageMaddy rolled her eyes and sat back on to her bed. Fine, no Scrabble. Did she even have a game of Scrabble with her? Of course not. Did she wish she did? Eh. Maybe. She enjoyed her fecitious vernacular that got a work out with the game.

It made no difference she would have to wait until whenever Scott and Emma were able to move again so that she could go home. Well, to the mansion at least. She called it "home", yet it felt less and less like it with the more time she spent there. So many of the students felt so connected with the place itself, yet she was seeing it now more as a place of business and endless training. It would be rebuilt, and it would be the same as ever. If it wasn't, she wouldn't be crushed. She enjoyed it, but it wasn't "home".

Now, she was still with the is girl that she had defended it some random wave of... well, it was a wave of something. Possibly it was frustration, possibly self-righteousness, or maybe it was stupidity. Maddy sighed and cracked her back,on cue with Jacen's sudden appearance in the room and his remarks.

"You know, I could have sworn I just closed that door," said the girl, with a yawn. She rubbed her eyes, which suddenly felt heavy.

"Here, you," Maddy said quickly, pointing at Jacen. "You, uh... you stay in here and watch her for a second..." Her voice trailed off as her head hit the pillows. He might object or ignore her, but she didn't care. She was just so suddenly tired, her muscles were a suddenly giving out or feeling weak. Maddy was to watch Blair, but then again, if she wanted to get out she'd have to go downstairs. Guess who was down stairs, everybody! Narcissa!! Yay!

She wished she could just forget the last hour or two. It had been like a dream to her, fading through the time unknowingly, seeing events unfold but not having any conscious control over them. Whatever was beneath came forth. Her more-or-less failed attempt to talk with Forellen had ended in spiders and apathy from the French girl, and hell from the blond. She was so far past caring what Narcissa thought at this point, it was irrelevant.

Omega-ORANGE PARTY. User Image

Antonio stared at Shandra, though she claimed to have not cheated, he knew that she was lying. He refused to accept the fact that he might have lost the race. He might not be perfect, though he was pretty close, but there were two things that he never lost in, racing and love. Though it seemed that Shandra was an exception on both counts. Logic states that you cannot be more perfect than perfect which would mean that there would be no way for Shandra to win unless she changed the rules, which was cheating. So there.

He shook his head trying to get rid of the water that clung to his hair, though for the most part it did not work. He would not even try to dry his pants, they were far gone. Why did Shandra have to almost drown? If she was able to swim then he would not have had to save her and he would be dry right now instead of wet and miserable. And if that was not enough she had to add insult to injury by beating him to the shore.

"Don’t play so innocent" He said narrowing his eyes. "You forget how well I know you. If there is a way for you to cheat you will find it. I am on to you are your tricky ways, never again will you best me in the way you just did. Unless you cheat again, but know that I will be watching." There he totally told her, she would be careful now in fear that he would call out her cheating to a higher power. Though personally he did not think that anyone would do anything about it.

In the end he did not mind that she wronged him so. Overall things had ended well, they were all alive and he got and amazing belly rub. He smiled thinking back to how amazing it felt. Would Shandra take it the wrong way if he asked her to give him another one, after all he did give her turn which meant that it was his. That was something that was taught in preschool, well if Antonio had gone to preschool.

Antonio stared at her once more. She wanted him to go back into the water? Why? It made no actual sense, here they were getting out of the water after she almost drowned and she wanted to go back in. Maybe she had some sort of death wish, then again that was one of the requirements to get into the Omega's. "All of my on the town plans were taken care of yesterday so…"

"ORANGES"

That was right he had bought all of the juicy, delicious oranges while they were rollerblading. They should be at the condo right now. "Shandra, the oranges should be here, we could go throw and orange party." It would be totally awesome, the theme would be orange which was funny because they would be eating a bunch of oranges. There was probably supplies in the condo to make all sorts of awesome orange based food and drinks, they should even have alcohol. Technically most of the students here were not allowed to drink, but that did not stop him from spiking the punch at the Christmas party. Oh the fun that was had that day, well until the party was crashed.

What if Shandra did not want an orange party, she did seem pretty intent on staying in the water, she probably developed some kind of attachment to it, like what happens to people in a hostage situation. He would help her, but he knew that it would be a slow process. "If you want we can even bring some oranges here and eat them in the water." He stared at her, waiting for her to answer.

Beach - Shandra's Believe it or Not

User ImageShandra tilted her head lightly at his logic, her face pretty neutral in its expression. Apparently he didn't believe her when she had said she didn't cheat...but she supposed she hadn't given many people reason to believe her when she said things. Though she hadn't known that she'd given anyone the idea to not believe her either. It was kind of sad...but she couldn't help but smile at the fact that despite all the time Antonio didn't know her at all.

But, in a way, that was still okay. Cause she hadn't let them. It just kind of cemented the fact that she'd kept to herself like she had planned to. For three years, funny...time really did seem to fly. It seemed almost like it had been another life time, and yet not very long ago when she had first come to the academy...

Although, the second part of Antonio's declaration was right. If there was a way to cheat, she probably would have found it. The only thing was that she had already known how she just didn't. Was it wrong of her to have wanted to just be believed? Considering that, once again, she had made sure that no one knew too much to prove or disprove anything she said...probably a little bit.

Good thing she was good at keeping up that mask. And the smile she portrayed to Antonio would have put a model to shame with how real it appeared. The idea that he was so easily distracted by the oranges made it feel a little more real to her, but it wasn't out of love of the oranges that she stood up out of the water.

Shandra took just a moment to ring out as much water as she could without actually removing her clothes. Her hair, of course, shed the most. She'd been expecting that though, considering the fact that...well it was hair.

"No, its alright," Shandra said as started to walk right out of the water.

Her eyes whipped to the side as she saw, down the shoreline of course, yet another person coming out of the water (Dimitri). Though he seemed much more in a hurry than she was. Actually...her eyes turned to the sunset that was starting...

How had they spent the whole day away? Last thing she remembered was cooking breakfast...

That had been ruined by spiders.

With her backed turned to Antonio just for the moment, Shandra frowned. Seriously, what had happened to them that day? What did she not remember that had made her seem so...relaxed? The pieces were just not working together. She hated it when pieces didn't cooperate when they were supposed to.

When she turned back to Antonio, however, that didn't show on her face as she motioned to the house.

"Come on, lets go get some of those oranges," Shandra replied to Antonio's whole statement about the oranges, "and some dry clothes yeah?"

The Next DayUser Image

Emma Frost held and ice pack to her head as she walked through the remains of Charles’ beachfront Condo at around eight am. She had a hang over the size of her bank account, and felt like she hadn’t had anything to drink in days. Her eyes were narrowed as she surveyed the mess that was the kitchen. Well, this answered her question. Had it just been Scott and herself drugged? Nope. From the trashed state of the condo, lack of food, broken windows, walls, television, and the couch sticking long ways out of the surf…Nope.

~Scott, wake up your Alpha’s. We need to go. Tell them they’ve got an hour.~,
she mentally called to her co-chaperone. She heard him wince from volume of her mental command, and a small smirk crossed her cold features. At least she wasn’t the only one with a headache.

She went upstairs, clad in a white pair of form fitting pants and a white sleeveless blouse—Her heels clicking on the wood. There was actually a hole in the wall at the top of the stairs. She would have to call a clean up crew. A construction crew, and hell—Probably a plumber and an interior decorator. But they needed to leave as soon as everyone was packed… They’d take the next available flight, private charter or not. It wasn’t just a random bug going around. Someone had targeted them, and attacked them—Why? She didn’t know—And the cardinal rule about staying alive, was if your enemy knew where you were… Don’t be there.

The Academy, well fortified and stocked with senior X-Men, being the exception to that rule.

Not to mention that the place was destroyed, and they were nearly out of food. They couldn’t stay there another five days. She passed several students doors until she got the Narcissa’s. Without knocking, knowing the blonde was awake, she opened the door and looked inside. “Get yourself packed—And get all the Omega’s ready to go. We leave in an hour.”

Despite complaints, and any delay—All students and newcomers would be taking the next flight back to the Academy, for their own safety.

Two Weeks Later.....> [See New Thread]
