A figure in the corner of Zane's eye grinned from ear to ear. "Don't forget. You have half the number of a cat's life left." He whisperd. Gabriel snuggled closer to Zane.

Zane smiled but deep down he was thinking about what the figure had said.'He's right...I won't be living that long soon'he thought as he held Gabriel tighter,and bit his lip and closed his eyes trying to hold back his tears.
