ScarletFrost Our first wedding in Las Vegas only cost us $500, including the honeymoon suite. Oh really. That is pretty awesome. I'll have to consider that. I'd have to wait another year though, he is only 20. Vegas sucks when you can't do anything.

I was only 20 when I got married. I had to hold my hubby's hand in the casinos because I wasn't technically allowed on the game floor. 4laugh

I just eloped at with my husband. We went to a courthouse and was married by a Justice of the Peace. My parents were heartbroken, but I didn't want a ceremony. I wouldn't be able to handle 200 people, 60% being people I barely know, wanting to hug me, and talk, and crowd, and all the other stuff that a wedding couple have to endure.
I do think we will have a small renewal ceremony for our 10th anniversary next year. That way my dad will get to walk me down the isle, and my mom will get to see me in a pretty dress. Then I will have the say in what happens, and my parents won't be out anything.

and Elta, my folks got married by a Justice as well. sweatdrop my stepdad is Hindu, and my mom is like... wiccan or something, i dunno, and they just didn't want a big wedding.
