Kat let out a sigh. "I could kiss him and give him the whole psychic experience...but I'll probably pass out again once his power kicks in and starts attacking my head." She glanced over at Jarred, "It's your job to make sure the high school boys don't grope me if I pass out."

Arch the Angel "Old?" Jarred raised an eyebrow. "I got like, a super spider-sense s**t, but it makes me strong and fast too. It's damn cool." Sam nodded. "This guy we think can like, hinder powers or whatever. We're not sure." Titus leaned foreward, looking to Sam. "So, if he hinders powers, how the hell are you going to prove you got them to me? I mean, if you had some crazy matrix s**t going on whenever someone's about to tackle you or something, we'd of- Wait! That football game! The one where you went off the chain!"

Kat glanced over at Jarred, "He probably thinks I'm still a High schooler."
She glanced back at Tidus, "The old guy is a minor null. Not entirely noticeable, but still useful. If you want proof of something, you can either kiss me, or shoot at Sam."

"Well, last game Sam played in, suddenly he just 'Had it', you know? No one could freaking touch him. Now, it could just be that he was lucky as hell, or, they sucked that bad, or, you guy's theory of there being super powers, and some how or another, the kissing girl, Sam, the old guy over there, and me, all have them, SOMEHOW, has some kind of backing." Titus shook his head, "As much fun as kissing you the first time was... Remember the whole you passing out and cracking your head bit? Kinda puts a bad taste in your mouth."

"It sounded like a viable test to me, you stopped a car after all, and sidestepped a speeder, but if you want to be a pansy about it, fine." Kat glanced back at Titus, "My kiss, to be clear, always tastes good. But there are others who can prove their powers a bit easier if you need it. The point of all of this, though, is that we need your help...and you're in a rather dangerous situation at the moment, so you need ours."

Kat leaned forward on the couch, and began arranging a chess set on the coffee table. "All right, the horse is you, and you see all of these black pawns over here? Those are what we call Keepers." She then went into describing the situation, moving the pieces around and naming some of them while adding in a few more characters just for kicks. After carrying on with the creative visual-explanation that I am too lazy to type out, she leaned back against the couch. "So, are we clear?"

Jarred rolled his eyes. "Whether you believe us or not, you having a power means that there are people out there who will try and take you. They will try and use your power, and if they don't like it, they'll kill you."

They're ancient, terrible, and well connected. And yet, somehow, you folks think you can beat them?" Titus then paused, looking to Sam, "You're good. But, there's a difference between being good and being a ghost in football pads."
