Move along, move along like I know you do.. Kaitlyn returned his kiss, but James also got the impression something wasn't right after a minute.
He pulled away a little but and searched her face.
"Is something wrong?" he asked, confused.
He'd just been playing earlier, of course, hence why he kissed her as "punishment" or whatever.
She got that right?
It's not like pulling someone into a pool... even clothed... was a big deal or anything.
But then he also understood why Kaitlyn might be hesitant with him sometimes. It was his fault after all. ..And even when your hope is gone

Landon was standing infront of her in a couple of seconds, his eyes running all over her body. "Hehe, hello there sweetie." She pecked his lips softly.
"You don't think its too much, do you?" She turned in his arms, so he was behind her, and looked into the mirror. Steph placed Landon's hands on her waist, her hands over his.
"I know its just a lunch, but they said to look nice." She bit her bottom lip gently, grabbing her tube of soft pink lip gloss, to apply it.
When she smacked her lips together, she grinned. "There. Perfect. Yes?" She caught Landon's eyes in the mirror.

Stephanie could stay like this forever. All thoughts from after their massages faded as she looked them over. The pair of them like this was exactly what she wanted to see. They looked absolutely happy, perfect in each others arms.
Only one thing... person was missing. But that was later to come.
Landon kissed her hair, pulling her out of her thoughts. "I think I could prove you wrong there, you didn't see some of the things I had picked out for prom our junior year." She laughed lightly as he spun her around.
His arm around her waist, he just had to go asking a question...didn't he?
"It was on the paper I lost..." Stephanie thought for a moment. "I'm sure it won't be too hard to find. We could always ask someone." She said, a cheerful look on her face, trying to hide the fact that she was clueless... yet again.

Kailtyn's eyes slowly opened to see his gaze on her face. "Oh.... Nothing's wrong... I was just over thinking like I usually do. As punishment you could get everything all intense and then just leave. Or something along those lines. She had no idea that he would have caught onto her hesitation or anything.
Now everything was awkward because of her, letting out a soft sigh her gaze dropped. "So... Do we have plans to do today?" Translation, do we have to be somewhere or can we do whatever. But for that to happen, that means they have to get out of the pool. Taking a deep breath she went under the water and around his body. Getting out of his grip, and came up for air. Hands instinctively came up to her bathing suit and caught a hold of the strings.
Walking out of the pool she grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her body. Kaitlyn felt bad about how things just happened. Her heart throbbed at the atmosphere, hopefully James would be his normal self, and ease everything.

Move along, move along like I know you do.. Oh. Maybe James had laid it on too thick a moment ago before the kiss? HE hadn't known she'd been thinking seriously at all... he'd just been having fun... liike they used to...
James followed her out of the pool and grabbed another towel, but before using it, he stumbled out of his pants, leaving only wet boxers on.
With the towel wrapped around him and his wet shirt and pants on one arm, James moved his other arm around Kaitlyn and kissed her cheek.
"Leaving you before was the biggest mistake of my life. I learn from my mistakes and don't let them happen again. I love you."
Please understand?
James was now the one worried that this wasn't going to work... He;d always thought he'd ******** everything up beyond repair... and then all of this had given him hope that there was a chance.
But if Kaitlyn couldn't get over the past....
"Um.. it's wet because it was in my pocket... but we got a note on what we were going to be doing. Something about lunch I think."
James let go of Kaitlyn to fish into his pocket and pulled out a very wet piece of a cardboard paper thingy they had used. At least it wasn't pure paper. But the ink had run and he could barely read any of it. ..And even when your hope is gone

Exactly! Someone could help them, for sure.
"I mean, it its some fancy luncheon. Someones gotta know whats going on." She laughed at Landons enthusiasm.
"Yes, isn't everything an adventure with us?" Especially when Stephanie drove. She was directionally confused, that was for sure. No matter how many directions she was given, or even the use of a GPS could save her sometimes.
"Or they'll track us down somehow! I mean, if they had those bracelets at one point.. maybe they planted a chip in our skin too!" She laughed, stepping outside of their room. "Wait!" She kicked her high heel into the air, shoving their door back open.
"Did you grab a key?" She was always leaving and loosing hotel room keys..

How that one sentence broke her heart. Leaving her was the biggest mistake, a memory that she would love to forget but seems to remain in her mind constantly. But at least he said something about lunch. She took the soaking thing, she couldn't decide what they used to make it with, and looked it over. Brushing her fingers over it you can still feel the slight indentations of where the ink was. "Right lunch... Fancy..." She wasn't a magician or anything, she could only make out some words. "looks like we better start getting ready, considering is around lunch time. Wouldn't you agree?" She glanced up at James and smiled softly. She didn't mean for her words to come out sounding like they did, but it was nice to know that he was going to stay with her.
Setting down the blob on the table she walked towards their room, what to wear. She didn't want to wear the dress that she had wore for Landon not that long ago, good thing there was another one. She was a girly girl, and it showed most of the time. First she began to work on her hair, always loving it up and in curls. Before her hair was fully finished, she slipped into her dress, blue was the best color on her. Although the necklace she wanted to wear was the one Landon had given her, she couldn't find it anywhere and it was driving her insane. Although she would never voice that so James could hear, that would just be rude of her to do.
After slight finished touches on her makeup, she realized how odd she truly looked. Hair nice and curly, beautiful dress, and a cast on her left arm that just threw everything out. Sighing mentally she walked out into the great room. "James, are you done getting ready? Or were you watching me the whole time and now just got started?" She smiled to herself, never knowing what exactly James does. He was a mystery to her, and she loved that she couldn't predict what he was going to do.

Glancing at his watch he realized that we was going to be late starting everything. Andrew quickly made his way towards his quarters and got ready himself. Into a nice suit, he had to admit he cleaned up real well. Much better than David, who took off the job for a bit because of behavior. Walking down the hall, glancing into the ballroom he cued the musicians to play. It didn't take long for him to find Landon and Stephanie.
"If you two would follow me, I will escort you to your lunch." Turning on his heals and stuffing one hand into his pocket he lead the way towards the ballroom, showing them the table for them to sit at. It was all quite well prepared, cozy enough for two. "There are menus next to your plates. we will give you a few minutes and come back for your orders." Bowing slightly he took his leave, glancing at them before he was fully out of sight. They did look like a good couple. Now to get everything else prepared.

"Yeah alright, probably should."
They made their way back to the room, where James stripped off the rest of his wet clothes, wrapped the towel around himself, and went in search of something nice to wear. Timing considered... He probably had one fancy thing left. Guys never did pack for extras when it came to such things.
James threw on a white long sleeve button up shirt, with a black coat and pants, plus shiny shoes. He topped it off with a tie, but didn't button the jacket.
He had to comb his wet hair, but also spent a considerable amount of time just watching Kaitlyn. She was so beautiful...and amusing to watch as she went about getting ready, making every little detail perfect, despite her cast constantly getting in the way.
Apparently she'd caught him staring, because after she';d come out with the dress, she called him out on it.
But James didn't answer her right away, as he was now also staring more.
"Wow. You look amazing." He said, getting up off the bed where he had been sitting.
"Absolutely stunning."
James smiled brightly as he came to stop just in front of her and put his arms around her waist.
"And I might have watched a little, but i got ready first!" ..And even when your hope is gone
