Emily stopped when they were out of earshot. She turned to face Kai, an unsettling calm look on her face. "How do you know my name?, she evenly asked Kai. Below her calm exterior, Emily was ready to kill Kai if need be, her anger wanting to be released.

Kit watched as Kai and the girl he seemed to call Miss walked outside. She looked stern. Making a face at what might happen, she decided against following them for now but glanced over when the girl named katie came to.
Oh my you're awake!
She crept over to sit beside her bed.
You don't know me but I am a friend. Would you like any medication for pain or something? and please, call me Kit.
She said quietly and calmly so as not to startle the girl.

Kai kept his half smile plastered on his face as he glanced at the ground, "...ah, that...the woman that came for you...she had a picture and kept calling you Emily.. I learned it by accident." He wasn't afraid of Miss Emily, but figuring if she left him alive he wouldn't be able to keep up with them anymore.

Emily looked down at the ground. "Did.......did she say what........she wanted me for?", she asked hesitantly.
Lynn walked up the stairs into the hall. "Sergeant, I'm not planning to trust you. It's nothing personal, I'm just not the kind of person to trust a stranger". She pulled out a card with a hotel name on it and a phone number on the back. "This is where I'm staying. If you want to hear my plan, go there at nine tonight. And be careful, it's a....... special hotel". She proceeded to walk out the front door and down the street, not noticing the half-breed.
((Yeah, sorry about that. Emily's my favorite character and I didn't want to continue without Green dragon))

Katie blinked--she wondered why the girl was just standing there not saying anything---or rather she didn't hear what she was saying.. "WHERE AM I?!" Katie said very loudly, enough for even Emily and Kai to hear..

Emily heard Katie yell, a look of worry cross over her face. "Don't think our discussion is finished", she said to Kai before she ran back to the cabin.

Kai was about to tell Emily when Katie yelled, he tilted his head and followed her back inside. "Oh, yeah...I forgot to check her ears again, she might be a bit hard of hearing because of that sound burst.." Kai said as he walked over to get paper and a pen from his bag.
Ryu looked confused as one of the women walked right past him and left, he tilted his head as he glanced at himself, "......did they turn me invisible?" he wondered aloud before glancing at the other woman.
((hn, yeah.... sorry, had a bad coupla days so it made me impatient..))

Kit's expression was one of surprise but she responded the same way.
IN A SHELTER!
She exclaimed but smiled at the girl, figuring she didn't feel too bad. She saw Miss come in.
She definitely doesn't seem to be in to bad of shape. Unless this hearing problem is a new developement.

Emily walked briskly past Kit, coming up to Katie. "Yeah, this's new alright". Looking Katie straight in the eyes she said, "What do I sound like?". She said it in her normal voice, hoping Katie would be able to hear her.

kiana watched this new development with growing concern. 'it could also be you have a concussion. you were hit rather hard on the back of the head, and thats where the part of the brain the controls sight and hearing is located.'

Katie looked a little relieved that Emily was here--it gave her a sense of familiarity and then allowed her to relax a bit. "YOU SOUND LIKE YOUR TALKING QUIETLY IN ANOTHER ROOM WITH THE DOOR SHUT.." Katie was still bleeding from her ears, yet it seemed that it had slowed down quite a bit.. "WHERE ARE WE? WHAT HAPPENED?"

Kit look at Miss, concern evident in her expression. Even though she didn't know this person she still felt badly. She would hate to have her hearing impaired.
Do you suppose she'll make a full recovery?
She asked Miss and her ears flopped to the sides slightly.

Kai was jotting something down on a notepad as he walked over then handed it over to Katie for her to read. 'that sound attack the woman made probably damaged your eardrums, you'll have trouble hearing till it heals.' Kai half smiled.

Emily watched Kai nervously, wanting desperately to know what was being written on the paper. Instead she answered Kit. "I don't know. It's possible, but most of the time if you loose a portion of your hearing, it never comes back", she said solemnly.

Katie pounced on Kai and looked at Emily, "THEN YOU AND.." turned to look at Kai, "YOU, WILL BE MY EARS.." then she moved her head a little, making it look like she may have lost a little too much blood and was a little dizzy..
