What is the SW equivalent to a Flak cannon? also, would it be something a pirate or criminals could attain, or would that be reserved for military forces?
This is relevant to the RP, cross my heart. cool

Altered the title "crawl". Forgot that nouns were entirely capitalized.

Nelowulf K-Blade I still think that if a padawan proves herself worthy and has passed the tests to her masters satisfaction then she should be promoted to knighthood regardless of age. *facepalm* There's no age thign to begin with. Why are you constantly saying this? Age has nothing to do with knighthood, only experience. "regardless of age".... there's no age to be "regardless" of. The knights must demonstrate that they have the experience and wisdom to become knights, Which are submitted by their masters. Most took a decade or so to learn, because learning how to be courageous, be apart from flesh, learn about pain, jealousy, andwhatnot took years of expereience. THERE IS NO AGE PROBLEM TO CONTEND! In other news, Blue is republic, Red is CIS, Green is insterstellar, Yellow is Hylian, and Purple is Rimmian. By faction.... this map might help others.

What is your opinion on making all of the CIS regions connect so that the planets between are controlled as well, aside from the ones already "claimed"? After all, the planets mentioned were only the major ones. And the CIS is supposed to be the largest galactic power.

If you interconnected everything, you'd eliminate all of the other powers
@ Jaden- SW has Flak Cannons, but if you want a really sw equivallant, I guess that'd be Point-Defense Cannons

And, no, it wouldn't eliminate all the other powers. Space is three-dimensional, after all.

Not exactly...
A flak cannon sends a shell out that explodes among the targets filling the area with shrapnel. Not only does star wars have flak cannons but they have hand held versions. Thats what a flechette gun is.
A point defense gun sends a stream of fire into an incoming projectile or starfighter. It's small and has an extremely high rate of fire. Quad lasers or autoblasters are more likely to be used in this role, but other options exist.

Actually, if you're going to connect the CIS, you're going to have to come up iwith an excuse as to why some of the remnant is flung way out and about. It seems rather unnatural for the CIS to be connected, but the republic can dot CIS space on it's own whims without addressing the same problem.
I can extend the political powers on the map, but I think you're not going to like it much if i do.
