The TI-nspire CAS is a graphing calculator. But it's an amazing graphing calculator. You need to take like a 10 crash course to totally get it, but I think I'm just gonna stick to what our teacher teaches us in class. YOu can factor on and and stuff too so it saves tons of time (yay SAT II subject test!!) and you can even plug in an equation and it solves for x, but I don't know how to do that yet...

Oh those. I've been using those since I was a freshman in Highschool. I loved using the graphing calculator cause the teachers never expected you to show how you got the answer if you could get it on the Calculator.

I hate having to use the calculator, because I can't do anything with such high-tech things. I flunked a test because I couldn't graph on the calculator. I'm better now that I have had a year's experience. Don't worry, Roki. You are not a nerd. Anyone would geek out over it. xd I'd love to have a calculator that solved for x. I'd just have to figure out how to work it though. I'm betting my TI-84 can't do that. Even if it's like an inch thick. That thing takes up too much space in my bag.

I'm very happy for you Roki. New calculators are awesome. 3nodding

What does everyone think of these headers and footers in the new Layout? I think they're distracting and annoying. You can minimize the footer but as soon as you change pages it comes out again. I don't think it looks very good.

Well, they're still working out the kinks in the footer. I'm trying not to judge it yet, but I think it has total potential to be awesome. One of the features that they haven't unlocked yet is the ability to put thinks in the footer as shortcuts. I plan on putting this guild there...

I think that will be useful when they unlock it. At the moment I just find it a little distracting but I have high hopes for it.

Super Random: I'm usually pretty smart about books, but I'm totally blanking right now. There's fiction and non-fiction. Which one is about real stuff and which one is made up stories?

Ok non fiction is the real stuff and fiction is the made up stuff. That's why it's called Fanfiction it's fans making up their own stuff from something someone else made up. Just an easy way to remember.

Oh, that works! Thanks. (I only asked cause my school library is doing a book challenge this year and we have to read at least two non-fiction and two fiction. There are a whole bunch of more rules, but that's the one that was stumping me. xD)
Also, I'm at school right now on a computer in the library. The library closes at 5:00 and I won't be picked up until 5:15. So around 5:00 I'll be logging out and then I should be back on by 5:45 unless we have dinner as soon as I get home.

I'll get back on around 8:45 this evening.

Fellow nerd! I took it out during Physics today and my teacher actually stopped class so he could look at it. xD
