Selena Lucania Honestly--- That's not how I understood his power. I'll put it before the mods. (No one said he couldn't have figured it out--Common sense, even though he doesn't really know Varian or Carlos. Considering Carlos walked away on his own... The concern now, is that we misunderstood the power.)

Tool Box hasn't actually been in a battle/fighting capacity. So if there was something off about his powers, we might not necessarily notice until they are put into actual practice. The thing to remember, is that he is, for all intents and purposes-- New to the Alpha X-Men. It doesn't make him less-- But it does give him room to learn and grow.
It must not be forgotten that there is something called 'power mastery'. That does dictate limitations of what he can and cannot do with his powers. If you need an explanation of that, I'm pretty sure there is a break down of the point system in the study.
The parts that you bolded-- Or highlighted, have nothing to do with why we are bringing the power into question. And it isn't so much the power, and the stat choice, and the things that he is creating with a power mastery of seven.
It will only be an issue, if we can't work it out. I will address you further in PM.

Figured the non-capped power mastery would simply mean that his devices where subject to malfunction, run out of power sooner than expected, etc. Something I really haven't had a chance to show since... well... I've been wandering around the academy waiting for something to happen.
Please don't tell my the characters going to get nerfed into oblivion -.-
I'd of thought needing materials, time, possibility of malfunction, often limited power-source/ammo, etc would have been enough to cover the benifit of having variability. Oh well, just thought I'd put in my two cents for the time being and hope to hear from you over pm soon enough to be updated.

DBL, just ask Reikon what happens when you tick Cissa off. I learned the hard way and got yelled at by Alpha and Omega. sad
My character had a headache that felt like a truck ran him over for 2 days, not to mention passing out and such. biggrin That's what I get for being an overly obnoxious, loudmouthed, hotheaded, asshat.
When I think of Reikon I think of a mix between Hudson (aliens), Madarame Ikkakue (bleach)(in that he has something to prove), and there's a semi-calming factor in there somewhere...I think? wink
It was interesting to read all this after I left. B00 I miss all the fun.
As far as power mastery is concerned Crusader still cant stop when flying, which he just figured out how to do. He still doesn't know very many attacks if any and just recently figured out how to engulf his body, in the firey aura of hottness. I enjoyed the building process and while I would love the opportunity to be maxxxxed out, it gives you so much character building room, and I love stories that build, build, build characters.

You'll get past that. People tend to be the harshest critic when it comes to their own stuff. Just have fun with it. Remember little details too, especially with what's going. What your char sees, how he feels about it, what's going on and what your characters opinion of it is.
Biggest thing to worry about is making sure you're not posting another character where they haven't posted them, speaking for another character, or playing Rambo. biggrin
