Faster and Faster and Faster. Tsukiko's feet became a blur. The "haste" effect was working. Darkneess swirled in his hands as he charged. He grinded his hands together and more power emerged, sending the enmy flying.

The flute played on and on. Was this a futile effort??? The song entered Tsukiko's mind, and the more he heard it, the more Emerald was by hs side. Soon, words came unto the flute's song:

"One soul seeks another, they bring destruction unto eachother. what's undone will be done, and what's done will be undone. Dark and Light, Light and Dark...your struggle is endless."

Tsukiko raged in disbelief. "THOSE WORDS! I KNOW THEM!!!!"

Between rages, Tsukiko noticed the fatalities of Rivera. "She's kicking total a**." The song played on:


"Arrow soaring straight and true, sword gleaming proud and strong. Continue and fight evil's endless song. Darkened side of the moon, light carried in the wind: Power, protect, heal and mend"


Tsukiko slowly remembered those lines. The apparation of Emerald then started speaking to him: "Hey, Stev??? Is it time to party???"


That name..........before Tsukiko could go on~ a demons claws found his side.

Miyu grasped the bow and fired shots at the demon attacking Tsu until it disappeared. Miyu ran over and did the same as before, slowly healing him. She was becoming exhausted, but knew she had to continue on.

"One soul in many, and many souls in one. What is done may be undone, yet what is undone may not be won. As undying as the eternal balance, the darkness will take the light, and neither should fall until all are done and the time, come. First light, second darkness, third darkness, fourth light. The light never ends between day and night... nor distinguish between the right and wrong, untold and undone by the dead... and gone... "



Rivera's song...He could here it.....Why is it so close to the one he knew so well. But Emerald had just called him "Stev". That name....But no use now, Tsu was losing blood. "DAMN VERMIN! DEMON BEGONE!" Tsu let an arrow meet the demons head. Tsukiko was losing it...what was going on? "Grrrr...! RAH!" Tsukiko's eyes took an abnormal shape~~~

"Chaos, lend me your power!" She slashed furiously into space, opening a massive rift to a universe that was in complete inverted colors. A flood of energy rushed into her with a demonic energy. The falcon aura of lightning grew larger and fiercer. She could see the man was weakening... that would be his own fault that he couldn't fight. She looked to the girl named Miyu and appeared beside her by slipping through shadows.

Rivera gripped her hand. "Take this energy and heal him." She transfered what natural energy she had left into the girl, except for one single strand that held her bound to herself. There were multiple wound on herself now, but she ignored them. As far as she was concerned, they weren't even there. She couldn't feel the pain, nor the blood.

"The flute whispers true, and I obey the mantra of Balance." Her spoke to her sword, governing a new energy of chaos against the offensive.

"Oh how kind." She rolls her eyes. Still being an Avian you tended not to be recognized as the sister race to Angels. Aly throws another lightning bolt, which strikes down another demon, then spears through it to strike down another. She could hear a flute nearby, but was too distracted by the demons to search. Aly throws another few lightning bolts, watching as the demons go ridged, then fall over and disappear.

"The twisted path you will take, will ruin all your friend's sake, All will renew once again and so your battle never ends. And if you grow too weary to fight...Tis' whill be the end of Dark and Light"

Rivera's voice was unanimous to the flutes in her icy rampage. Her sword ripped through demons as if it were a battle axe through gossamer. The mantra was imprinted into her heart, forever still, forever remembered. Until the day someone steals her heart, she will obey this mantra.

"Save the sky and save the stars. Save the gilded heaven gates.
Save the fires and save the stones. Save the stronghold of the fates.
Scales shall tip and scales shall fall, to the flames of icy tears.
Worlds may end yet still may mend, to all, a conflict of eternal years... "

She was the flute player, the flute was her voice. Yet in a world split, there was another with the same voice, but the voice was the flute's and not the voice of the one who played it. Their voices were one in the same.
