Ishira went to struggle, only to see what he had in his hand, her ring. Her eyes went wide and she growled at him.
"You b*****d!" She screamed, reaching for the ring before he teleported them, her stomach flipping. Her head spun making her lean into her brother. Only a moment before she passes out does she notice the ring he held was a fake.

"You wouldn't believe me if I... told... you" She slapped her face and shook her head.
On the ground was a sphere shaped, four foot around each way patch of accurate and animated sky sitting on the ground.
She kicked it and three of the four tails she had dissolved, as did the bodysuit and fangs, leaving her looking the same as before she faked going demon. The only thing different being the sword hilt still in her hand.
She tossed it into the air and caught it in her over-sized coat's sleeve.

Reeve shakes his head at Iri, picking himself up off the ground.
"You did what you had to do, and the guy wasn't goin' down. No hard feelings, dear," Reeve says, brushing himself off with a grimace of distaste. "Time to regroup..."
He walks over to where he'd tossed his equipment vest earlier, intending to put it on- God only knows what's coming next- but he notices an odd glimmer in the grass. Stooping low, he picks up a ring- Ishira's.
"Well hello, there," he says curiously. Recognizing it for what it is, he frowns. "b***h can't even manage to leave all at once..." His tone is harsh, and understandably hurt, but he holds the ring tightly in his fist for a moment before stowing it in a pocket.
"What do we do now?"

Lina sat down clutching her head with both hands.
"First thing we need is to pool the information we have about what's going on."
She tilted her head back to look at Reeve first.
"You were given this pendant... Something happened after that, and you started acting like a machine again."
She pulled the pendant out of her pouch, not letting it touch her skin.
"They did something to you, and left with something afterwords"
She rubbed the back of her head nervously.
"Oh yeah, and as for the knocking you out part... err, thought you were going back... figured it would hinder them more by leaving you a vegetable, unable to pilot a machine... heh sorry"

Locking his eyes on the pendant, Reeve begins to sort out the jumble of what-the-hell-just-happened. He only has one word, at least immediately, to say on the subject.
"Nekojiri."

She rubbed her head and dropped the pendant into a pouch, before deciding to seal it away for good measure.
"I suppose that is why Material chose to make her words come out in a non direct manner... and why she tried to make a fool of me by expecting I wouldn't monitor my sister around you when I wasn't footsteps away."
She took on a look of concentration for a few moments.
"Anything important Ishira and you discussed in the hallway before we went to the med lab?"

"She tried to pass that off to me," he says with a nod to the stone. "I didn't take it because if felt strange, as we barely know each other." He allows himself a mirthless laugh at the irony.

She shook her head.
"I can't say I'm supprised anymore. Our family always seems to have fights like this, it's why even though we're related by blood there are two last names... though I suppose Hex is the only one related by blood to her in sense of born from the same parents."

A thought occurs to Reeve, and it hits him like a blow to the stomach. He bends over, falling to his knees.
"If Iri is right, that 'the people who did this to me', have my son, that means Neko has my son. Have to find Ishira to find Neko, to find Dalcon. This is going to be one long, long year."

She raised an eyebrow.
"Hmm, that's an interesting development actually" she pondered for a while.

"Not really," Reeve says, looking up. "Nekojiri wouldn't make it that easy, anyway." He gives a sigh, watching his breath fog out in front of him. "They say smart people can get to C from A without B, but we don't have A or B. I'm lost, Lina."
