The officer didn't answer...
When they reached the wreckage, they would notice one thing above all others-The cockpit had been opened even before they had arrived...

"You can't do that!" Demi exclaimed, suddenly grabbing the officer and slamming him against the wall. "You can't just abandon him! He's not dead! I know he's not! He's out there somewhere! We just can't see him!!" She kept yelling, slamming the officer with every exclaim, crying as she did. "He's not dead!!"

Dojime was walking around looking for the officer in charge of the mission. He found him but Demi was slamming him into the wall and yelling at him. Dojime walked up behind Demi and set his hands on her shoulder. "Demi, you need to calm down. We are going to find Gil, but knowing him, he is going to find us. I know he's still alive. People like him don't just die," His voice was kind, low, and soothing. His hands were huge compared to her shoulders, but his touch was light. "It's going to be ok."

"I know he's not dead God damn it!" Demi snapped, letting go of the officer, pushing off Dojime's hands and turning around to face him. She looked up with a glare that normally would have brought intimidation to anyone, but after what he had said to her had done the opposite of what he was probably aiming for: she only cried more. "Can't you do anything?! You're a MCPO! you can get him more time cant you!?"
