Kana blinked, glancing at him. "Um, ok..." She allowed herself to be led over in a different direction and watched curiously as he poked a yellow button. She hadn't noted what color the one Tam picked had been, but she could tell from Koichi's words it hadn't been that yellow one. Her eyes widened slightly as he mentioned sandstorms. "What?" she cried, glancing around as if expecting to be hit by one right then. She also recalled how the sand had slowed her down at the beach, but then again, if she was going to be flying, that wouldn't matter very much hopefully...

:didn't realize it was on the other page: i'm so out of it today]

Koichi stopped before they walked through the door, as he turned to look at Tam. He bit his jaw down, his muscles popping out just slightly as he noted to himself the boy was tired, from the way his brain was just a buzzing sound. "Dude, get some sleep... you're dead tired," he said flatly before pushing the door open and leading Kana in, still holding onto her arm [or wrist? either works xD] They had only walked in to suddenly sink in a little sand; Koichi, thusly, started trudging through before he reached somewhere near the middle. He simply gave up trying to move around just walking as he turned to his little sister and laughed softly in embarrassemt from trying to get through.

[Haha, it's ok. My headache from yesterday has returned. xP]

Kana blinked at Tam, biting her lip. She'd wanted so badly to poke him, but it looked like now she wasn't going to be able to. So instead she raised her hand, the one Koichi wasn't pulling her by, and waved to him. "Bye Tam!" she smiled, and was then tugged into the arena. She realized their movement had slowed somewhat and felt the sand between her toes. It felt so odd... But she wasn't going to complain. Sand would be good for a wind user, right? Because she could throw it in people's faces. She frowned at the thought though, not really wanting to do that to anyone. But then she smiled back at Koichi, hearing him laugh. "It's fine!" she nodded cheerfully.

Koichi laughed as he nodded to her. He didn't quite know what to say, but he knew Kaze was coming, and fast. She needed to practice, was the only thing he really knew. "Kitty, I'm sorry... today I'm going to be your opponant, since Kazan was yours yesterday," he said softly, not looking at her. He really, in truth, didn't want to fight his little stister, but he also knew he had to.

Kaze had approached the door now, and just looked back; the place was pretty empty. "Is it always like this?" he said under his breath, almost in boredom. He'd wait, he decided, a little while before entering. He wanted, after all, Kana to be at least a little more ready today than she was yesterday for the training. Kazan was buisy pretending to be a cat to notice much at the moment.

Kana turned again to examine their surroundings, which just seemed to be nothing but sand. She pushed some around with her foot, but froze suddenly at Koichi's words. She looked sharply up at him, biting her lip anxiously. "You?" she asked quietly, ears drooping. She knew him even better than Kazan, so this was going to be even harder... She blinked and turned to look over her shoulder at Kaze and Kazan as they appeared in the doorway. She tried to smile at them, but couldn't manage one, so she simply waved instead.

Kaze just started towards them, disregarding his last thought; she seemed ready, now. "Well, then, Koichi," he started softly as he approached, "you won't be needed till later...." he trailed off, letting Kazan down, who instead jumped onto Koichi. The two of them started off towards the closest perimiter; there was no need for spotters today, since the sand was soft to land in. "Well, then, let's see what you can do today, Kana. And don't be afraid to try something on me.... you won't hurt me, don't worry," he said somewhat evily as he looked at her.

[i'm working on profile again xD so, if i delay, you know why ><]

[K. ^^;]

Kana blinked, watching Kazan shift over to Koichi so Kaze would be able to focus better. She kicked a little more at the sand, then tried to catch the pieces that she'd flung up, just as a small warm up exercise. Much to her relief, she managed to do so, and then shifted them into another small whirlwind, twirling the sand around in circles. Then she glanced back at Kaze, keeping the torrent going just in front of her. She didn't want to attack him, even though a small part of her wanted to for making her attack her friends. But, it was all part of the training she'd asked for, so she had no right at all to be angry. She didn't really know what to do, and she didn't want to get yelled at so early, so she slowly lifted herself from the ground. There was a moment's pause before she felt the wind form under her feet, but then she lifted about a foot off the ground, eyes still upon Kaze and the small sandy whirlwind still going.

"Good, good," Kaze said softly, looking up at his pupil. "However, you need to know more than just this, Kana. Now, try to think of something else to make. By using wind, you can call upon most things that can float through it; the sand, as you've tested, the grass, leaves, a lot of things. Just use that to your advantage," he said, standing with his hands grasped behind his back as the sand suddenly startet kicking up, throwing itself at the two of them. Kaze, though, just stood there, a barier already plastered around him. "So, Kana," he called out to her through the roaring sand, "what is it you're going to show me next?"

Kana watched blinked, watching Kaze in silence as he spoke. She knew he was right, but she had to figure out how to use that to her advantage. She figured she could use sand to possibly blind someone for a short amount of time, but she wasn't sure about grass or leaves. Maybe she could throw it at them to provide a distraction for exscape? Since she didn't really plan on injuring people even after this. It was just self defence training in her mind. She jumped as she suddenly realized the sand was picking up, hammering against her legs and quickly moving upwards. She let out a startled cry and shut her eyes tightly, trying to focus through the distraction of the raging sand. Pretty soon, she'd shifted the wind in a bubble around herself, her feet on the bottom like it was firm ground. You could actually see the outline now, because the sand was pressing against it. This was what she'd tried to do when Kazan had fired water at her from all directions, but she had failed to do it in time yesterday.

"Nice, nice. You're getting better at this, Kana," Kaze congradulated, the sand still pelting at them. "But, can you attack from in that bubble during such a storm?" he smirked, looking up at her still; his hands, although were behind his back, had moved up across his chest now. "I'm waiting, Kana. By now, you should know what I expect of you and what I want. Now, just stay a few steps ahead of me and don't make me ask or talk and you'll be fine., he warned, somewhat dangerously.

[sorry, I'm playing the card game. ><;;]

Kana watched Kaze, carefully taking in his words over the roar of the sandstorm. She shifted slightly at the last statement, feeling a bit nervous. And why was his hand at his chest now? Her tail curled tightly around her waist as she glanced around, not really sure what she was doing. Were they supposed to be fighting now, and was she supposed to be attacking him? She wasn't sure, but he'd said she needed to stay steps ahead of him. She frowned, eyes darting around agian. What she really wanted was a tree, so she could figure out if she could get the sand to cut things or not. She settled for directing an attack at the ground for now. She stared downwards, eyes narrowing as she focused. She brought forth a strip of wind, very narrow, and suddenly had it lurch forward. It slammed into the ground, sending up a spray of sand as it hit.

[it's okay. My mom, though, is making me get off cuz i'm seeing pirates tomorrow. Just for you, i'll wake up early so i can come on biggrin kay? so...um... pick a time. i have a few more minutes to wait. don't rush yourself, though. sometimes before 2.45, i'm guessing.]

Kaze just stood there as the pile of sand grew higher and higher. It suddenly, though, toppled over him as Kana blasted the sand with the wind; with a small serge of energy blasting from where he was, the sand bounded off of him and headed in all directions forcfully, including Kana. He was still waiting for her to figure out what it was he wanted for the day; she had yet to, though. "You're never going to pass my training, Kana, unless you can stay ahead of me!" he barked.

[I can drag myself out of bed at noon. xD;; That early enough? I can get up around ten if needed.]

Kana jerked back around to face Kaze, throwing her arms over her head as she saw the sand coming at her. Though, the bubble she already had in place served its purpose and kept her safe for now. She flinched as he yelled and then frowned at him. "Well, I just woke up," she growled. "And I don't know what I'm doing! And I can't think straight. And... and I don't know what I'm doing!" She shut her mouth and just glared at him, well aware that he was probably going to start yelling at her again. But she was confused, and frustrated. He kept saying to stay a step ahead, but she didn't have a clue what he was doing!

[Edit-You say a pile of sand is growing higher? What pile is this? oO]
