Engela smiled. "We're having guests," she said quietly. Raising a brow at Artemis, she added, "Einon, could you please find your friend a new shirt?"

Aura glanced over at the two of them. Her eyes widened momentarily when she saw Artemis. Then she immediately glanced away. "Who are we expecting?" she asked her mother, sounding a little muffled.

Vix entered before Engela could reply. "Us," she said cheerfully. "Hello, Engela. It's nice to see you again."

"Sure mom, he and I are about the same size." Einon ran upstairs to grab a shirt. While he was gone, Artemis looked around again, setting his staff by the door. He smiled at Aura. "Thanks for distracting your brother, he almost beat me." He sat down on the couch next to Aura, waiting for Einon to get back. Einon came back into the room with two shirts, handed them to Artemis then sat down. Artemis picked one, stood up and pulled it over his head just as Vix and Leon and Mathias came in. "Hey there dad!" Einon said, waving his hand then sending a shadow bolt at his father.

Before Mathias entered the portal, he gave Alex a flute. "If anything happens, those bandits come back or anything, blow that. I'll hear it." Nodding, Mathias stepped into the portal behind them, the portal sealing itself. Emerging right next to Leon, he followed him into the house then shut the door behind them. "Hey so-" Before he could finish, he held his hand up, the bolt stopping in mid-air then exploding. "Nice try." Einon grred then laughed.

((I know you like beating up on your own characters, but please, give the kids the night to be alone! COME ON! Naomi and him wanna get together, LET THEM BE! If you want, I'll make up a wandering mage to fight Maverick if you're bored.))

"come on, lets go. you'll be ok." Hyn picked up Gurin again and began to bring him inside to his father, a worried look on his face. "don't worry about Hyn, he can bring Gurin to your father, the rest of us will help you." Stern said as he charged the bandit group. "ill hang back and protect the archers." Rast said. he waited until the group was out of ear shot before speaking but did not take his eyes off the battle, "why are we helping them Tanis? your the smart on here. i know the brothers have great power but we could still easily take the village and force them to work for us. why do we need them to trust us?" "well, they have strong hearts and can easily start a rebellion and Kray dosn't want to loose such valuable skill." Tanis replied as he let loose another arrow. "yea i know but wouldn't they eventually find out what we are up to if they join us? it could be worse to loose them to the other side and have to fight them when they have the heros of old and the entire army of the new empire to back them up." Tanis had wondered the same thing and had not come up with an answer himself. "i'm sure Kray knows what he is doing." was his reply and the 2 fell silent.
