Varnis quickly stood up as Hiro was beaten. Running to the edge of the arena, he looked on, as the stranger was beaten. Feeling anger towards the king of what had just happened, he watched on, before noticing some one else in the corner of his eyes move towards the arenas walls as well. Watching her for a moment, he turned back to the arena and watched, waiting for what was going to happen next.

"That's strange.." Korsu said, frowning, "I can no longer hear his train of thought." He growled slightly as his fist tightned on the hilt of his kodachi.

Annexus nodded to the guards to remove the body from the arena. He looked up at Rita.
Rita was moaning in the box seat. Her eyes flickered and rolled back into her head, so just the whites of her eyes were showing. She stood and walked to the edge of the box. "What did you do!" She screamed at the top of her lungs. "You dare destroy a servant of a god!"
Annexus looked up . . . it appear he got his answer. People stood and were ushered out of the arena by soldiers. "It wouldn't be the first time! But, it appears that the spectator shows itself. Tell me, spirit! Which God do you serve?"

Mina heard screaming from the arena. "I have a bad feeling," she said. "Come on." Then she ran to the arena, passing another boy, though she didn't see his eyes, arriving just in time to see some guards take Hiro's body away. I know Hiro is alive, but it's as if his body has no soul in it... she thought. Mina looked at his eyes. They were staring at something without seeing. In all appearances, he appeared to be dead. She looked up as Rita started screaming. Then Annexus asked her what God she served. Mina drew her bow, put an arrow into the string, and pulled back, aiming at Annexus. "Annexus! What did you do to Hiro!? He's not dead, but his body appears to have no soul! What did you do?!?!" she cried to him. I know this is stupid, but... Will you help me, Korsu? she thought.

Yin removed her glasses as she headed towards Mina. Her shadows around her spread out attaching themselves to Mina. "I wouldn't do that if I were you. Something cool is starting." Yin just smiled at Mina as she put her glasses atop her head.

Rina stood up, ignoring the dizziness that overcame her. Something is wrong, she thought, and made her way back to the arena. She saw Rita, but she was different. Their minds were no longer connected. She saw Yin holding Mina in place with her shadows.

Mina was shocked when shadows attached themselves to her and held her in place. She looked up at the girl who was speaking, just in time to see her put her sunglasses on top of her head. Mina gasped. "You-You're an Eternal Eyes... Why? Why do you fight against us?" Mina asked.

Yin forced Mina to lower her weapon away from Annexus. "I know of our kind, and I will not take part in your plans to hurt my king." Yin pulled from behind her a chain. The chain had a sharp metal scythe at the end. "I'm advising you to give up."

Mina tried to struggle against the shadows, but failed.
"Let her go, Yin. This girl saved my life," Rina interrupted.
Mina saw Rina tell the girl to let her go. "What? Why would you want me to go?" Mina asked.
"You saved my life. I'm just returning the favor," Rina replied.

Yin looked and sighed. "Whatever." The shadows descended back towards Yin forming a normal shadow. Yin looked up at Rita. "So what the heck is going on?"

"That's what I'm trying to figure out!" Mina said as the shadows released her. "All I want to know is what he did to my friend over there," Mina said, indicating Hiro.
"Rita..." Rina whispered.

"I'm not worry about him. If the king wanted you dead, you would be dead." Yin shook her head. So annoying. Yin moved over to Rina. "Spill it! What do you know about the girl up their."
