((Oh. Anyway, Lemming has sent me a PM of how to NPC while she sleeps or is gone... Wow, deja vu...))

Skiaska looked apologetically at Reno, then turned to Lydia. "I understnad, Lyd. I believe Will will be here soon, so we will go on ahead. Terra nodded and moved against Skiaska before looking at Reno. "Hm. Well, she has the nice curves that go better with holding, and longer hair to grab..." Skiaska colored. "But, I may not stay for long. I'll have my fun, kill some s**t, then move on. It's normal for me." Shrugging, Tessa pulled Ski towards the door, and towards Uncle's room.

Reno pouted and moved next to them."Well my hair is just fixed this way.Its actually pretty long."He said depratly trying to get her attention.

"I will join you after Will comes." Lydia said, waving to Skiaska and the new huntress as they left. She hoped that Will would arrive soon, as the psychic did not want to remain alone for very long. It seemed like everyone was going to Uncle's room for whatever important event was happening with Krii'Ouse.

(( Still NPCing Gail hope you don't mind Lydia ))

Gail had returned from the storage room, a rather annoyed expression upon the stout medic's face. She strode hastily, blood packet on her person. First, however, she had come to check up on the psychic. "Hey hun," Gail addressed Lydia as she checked the blood packet and made to unthaw it while she spoke to the pregnant huntress, "you need anything before I disappear to run this by Edith?" Of course, the medic was completely unaware that the ex-huntress had burst off in a fit of anger.

Silently, Will entered the infirmary, quietly waving Gail off when she noticed his injuries. They'd heal. He could use enough power to heal himself rapidly without risking the release of Death. Right now, what he needed was healing of the spirit, and only one person could manage that these days with just her mere presence.

Without making a sound, he came up behind Lydia and wrapped his arms around her, resting his face in her hair. God, she smelled and felt so good, here in his arms. This was his peace, his serenity, right here in Lydia and what she represented for his future. Voice soft, he smiled, eyes closed and just luxuriating in her presence. "Hey there beautiful. I'm sorry I left you here. I missed you."

"No, Gail. I am fine for now." Lydia said with a sigh. "I will just wait here for Will and then see if I can go to that ceremony everyone was talking about. Thank you, though." How long would it take Will to get there? Why had he left her alone here in the first place. The psychic found herself longing for his embrace as her lover snuck up on her from behind.

Lydia was taken by surprise when Will's arms suddenly wrapped around her, yet she welcomed his embrace nonetheless. "Hello, Will. I missed you too." she replied, a soft smile on her face as she wrapped her arms around his. "Why are you all torn and bloody?" Happiness and contentment turned to concern and worry in an instant as the pregnant woman tried to asses her lover's injuries.

Will's smile turned sheepish. "Er, Sethe and I had a little bit of a disagreement. But it's settled now, and we're both alright. Don't worry, I'll be healed up by the morning. How are you doing? Better?"

"Well, I have been better," Lydia said, looking a bit disdainfully at the wheelchair she was in. "But I am better than I was before you left. Gail says that I should stay in the wheelchair for a few days, so I don't overexert myself, but aside from that, I have a clean bill of health." The psychic turned her head so that she could kiss Will on the cheek.

"Speaking of a clean bill of health, our child is just fine according to the ultrasound. Gail says that I should give birth around late December, around Christmas, so we have a bit of planning to do, as our baby is due in only three months." Lydia paused for a moment, thinking to herself. "Also, I do not know how we are going to work this out. I have my own room at Haven, as do you. Will we share a room with our baby, or will we stay in seperate rooms with only one of us actively caring for our child? I must admit that I am new to all of this, so I have no idea what we must do to raise our child properly."

Will nearly bit his lip when she asked, "what are we going to do?" To be honest, he didn't rightly know himself. Meeting Lydia, falling for her, becoming lovers, their child... It had all happened so fast. A year ago, he barely knew Lydia. Now, she was going to be the mother of his child. What should he do.

Swallowing nervously, the man who never lost his nerve in front of the fiercest enemy or had any lack of words when encouraging his comrades in arms found himself stammering. "W-w-w-we-welll.... I... That is... If we opened up your room for another tenant... And then... Well, we could... You know... Use the space, add onto my room... Turn it into a little apartment... That is.. I mean... Assuming you wanted to move in with... With me... I mean, we're going to be parents, Lyd. We... We should be... Together."

After months of indescision, Will finally knew what he wanted, what he should do. Releasing her from his embrace so he could walk around to face her, he knelt on one knee, taking her hand in his and clasping it tightly. This was the moment, something he'd been agonizing over and now that he'd made his choice all fear was gone. "Yes, that's right, Lydia. We should be together. Because I've come to realize one thing; without you in my life now, I become less than nothing. I don't know how it happened, I don't know when, but sometime along the way I fell in love with you. And you loved me back, and now you're carrying our baby. This life we lead is harsh, and brutal, and could end in an instant. But I want to share it, all the good and bad, with you until the Lord calls one or the both of us home."

Gulping loudly he looked away, then turned back to meet her eyes, his nerves steeled as he prepared to enter his greatest and longest challenge yet. "Lydia Aidly, will you marry me?"

((Would I spoil the moment if I said "I knew you were going to ask that."? Regardless, yes, drama is good. Wait until you see her response.))

Lydia was confused as Will stammered and spoke in disjointed sentences. Out of all of that, she did get that he wanted her to live with him. Her smile widened instinctively; it pleased her to no end that Will wanted to be with her and to live with her. Still, he seemed very nervous about all of this. Was moving in with someone supposed to be nerve-wracking? Moving in with Kerrigan for those few months had not made Lydia nervous at all.

He moved in front of her, went down on one knee, and took her hands in his. Any other woman would have becomed weaked-kneed, breathless, and excited at what all of that meant. But Lydia, poor, naive Lydia was clueless about all of it. As Will continued to speak to her, she just became more and more confused until at last he said,

"Lydia Aidly, will you marry me?"

The psychic paused for a second. "What is marry?"

Will's verbal response to Lydia's question was... well, simple. "grk."

Mentally, he was raging up a storm, careful not to overflow Lydia's psychic senses with his thoughts. 'Idiot! How could you forget?! Of course she has no concept of marriage! Who would have explained it to her?! Stupid. stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid......'

Smiling with chagrin, the Hunter leader cracked a small joke to break the akwardness he now felt. "I suppose I should have seen that coming. But before I answer that, I need to ask you a question as well."

Drawing in a deep breath, Will decided to plow through and keep this simple. "Lydia, do you love me? Do you want to stay with me as long as you can? I'll respect whatever you say, but I need to know. Please."

As Will berated himself in his head, Lydia had to do her best to keep back a smile. Even with him trying to keep his thoughts to himself, the odd one still reached her. Marriage, so that was the noun form of marry. That made a bit more sense to her now.

"Well, that was two questions, but I will answer them both anyway. Yes, I love you. Though I know little of what love means, it is the only thing that can explain the way I feel about you. How my heart jumps a little every time I see you, how my breath catches in my throat every time you say my name, how it feels like fire is racing along my blood whenever you hold me close."

The psychic leaned foward to give Will a kiss, in the hopes that it would make him feel better about all of this. When Lydia spoke, her voice was soft and caring, with a hint of passion hiding under her words. "And I want to stay with you forever, if that is possible. If marrying you means that we both love each other and will stay with each other forever, then yes. Yes, I will marry you."

Will smiled softly, leaning forward to embrace her tightly. "Yes, Lydia. That's exactly what it means. Marrying someone is the ultimate declaration of love, and a commitment to stay true to that love and keep it strong for the rest of your life. It's a promise, a promise taken before the person you love, your friends, your family, and God. A promise to love, cherish, and care for the one you're marrying until death parts you from them. And I'm so glad that you would want to spend the rest of your life with me."

Kissing her tenderly on the forehead in a sign of deep affection, Will then leaned back and smiled at her. "So, Skiaska and Gail helped take care of you while I was... uhm, 'talking' to Sethe I assume?"

Lydia hugged him back, happy beyond words. This marriage thing meant that they would be together forever, through thick and thin, did it? That was more than enough for her. She could still remember a time not so long ago when she had thought for sure that Will would never see her as more than a friend, and now he wanted to be with her forever...How could anything be better than that? "How could I want anything else, Will? Our child already binds together until the end of time and I could ask for no more than that."

The psychic smiled as her lover (well, fiance now) kissed her forehead. "Yes, Gail made sure I had everything I needed while Skiaska gave me emotional support that I desperatly needed. I would have wanted it from you first, but given that you were busy, Skiaska easily filled that role for you. I wish Kerrigan had come to comfort me, but I think she feels guilty about what happened."
