So, silver wasn't that bad. It wasn't as good as gold, but it was still worth something... and, to Sakeme, silver was much prettier than gold. So it could easily be a win situation for her. Still, not she wondered if she had really hit a gold vein or if they were all just lucky finds and nothing more than that? Well, the only way to find out was to keep digging... or in her case, keep breaking down layers of rock...

More silver... now this was getting interesting. Could there be a silver vein mixed with the gold? Was that even possible? She'd never studied the metals or anything like thta, so she wasn't too sure. All she knew was that she found it, she wanted it and she wanted more... And she would get more too... if she kept going on. However, she felt maybe it might be time to stop for the day, in a little bit... After all, she was getting a bit tired... and would soon need rest.

Once again, she swiped at nothing as her fists pulled out of the cracked and withered stone walls. This time no twing of annoyance came by as she assured herself. After all, she had to be unlucky once or twice in order for it to be fair that she find plenty of gold and silver. Deciding to make one last strike in this cavern before she went home for a nap, she plunged her fist into the wall and pulled out. With shock and relief, she shook her head slightly and gathered what she had found... more gold... Lucky to the end, eh?

5) Feeding Frenzy:
Thanks to the recent scorpion population booms, lots of primo scorpion meat has hit the market, effectively driving the price down on it but making it plentiful. So you know what it means when there is plenty of food around, EATING CONTEST!
Rules: The player will be put in different divisions based upon their rank. They must perform Constitution Checks(Pure Constitution + 1 D20) vs. the DC to see how far they go in the contest. You must pass so many rounds to get any of the reward. Each round, you suffer a -2 compounded to your check due to your stomach being more and more full.
Gennin- 20 DC / 4 Rounds Minimal
Chunnin- 30 DC / 5 Rounds Minimal
Jounin- 60 DC / 6 Rounds Minimal
ANBU- 70 DC / 7 Rounds Minimal
Kage- 100 DC / 8 Rounds Minimal
Other: *Concentration is the key to this. For every 10 points in Concentration, add 1 to your Constitution check.
*You have may fail 3 times without having to restart. After the 3rd fail, you have to start over from round 1.
Special: For every round past the basic requirement passed, receive +5 additional exp but suffer -4 DC compounded each round.

Roy slowly walked up to the platform. He was starting to get a bit of a hunger pain from not having eaten all day and decided that he might as well join in. It’d be a nice place to get a meal. He would sit down and take a deep breath and begin to wait for the meals to roll in.

Another plate, another 10 pounds, he knew it. Yep, straight to his hips When did he start thinking like a woman anyway? Thoughts of Shuiro came to mind and made him grin a bit but he didn’t have time to really enjoy it. Back to work.

Another plate was placed before him.. how much more could he take of this crap? He shoveled it down, holding his nose to make sure he didn’t smell any of it. After all, most of the taste we get from food comes from its smell.

Whatever the issue was, he didn’t care. He just had to get through this. Soon, specialty plates made of gold were placed before him. One after another. Even in the extra round section he felt like he was going to die. His stomach wanted to burst… hell some guy’s stomachs had burst already. Either way, he kept going.

The taste… that brought back some horrid memories. He quickly couldn’t take it and spat out everything in his mouth. As he looked up, a red flag had been placed in front of his table. What the hell was that about?

A groan left his lips as he sat there and ate but very slowly. Unfortunately, the portions for the extra round were a lot bigger.

Even the smell was agitating to him. He shook his head a little and looked over to the other contestants… 90% of them were rather large men. He sighed a little and began to eat but chucked a little in his mouth.

As usual, Shuiro found herself at another eating contest. Despite the times before, she was solely doing this out of boredom... Alright, so some random person bet her five ryo that she couldn't win... It was only five ryo so she was tempter to pass up the best, but his snickering drove her insane... Thus now she founf herself sitting on the benches, eating her fill, with several others.
1d20: 13+41+13= 67
Shuiro finished the first plate with ease. The new onlookers were surprised that she went for seconds... Heh, newbies... The second plate was gone soon as well. It only took her... less than ten minutes after the bell rang to finish it off. She didn't bother looking at their stunned expressions... She could 'see' them easily.
1d20: 9+41+13-2= 61
The third round was as easy as the first and the second... it was also the round that made her look forward to the forth and the fifth, almost forgetting why she was really here... a measly bet and gawking bystanders... Yup, she's a looser... No, not really... well, yeah... maybe...

The fourth round signifies the closeness of the normal rounds being finished. She was debating on stopping there... After all, all she had to do was five rounds to win the five ryo... Hey, a ryo per round... what do you know. She migth want to continue though. It seemed, to keep people from vomiting, the portions were getting a bit smaller now. However, this could be just because meat was bad or starting to go up in price or down in stock.

With all this mat in her diet lately, Shuiro felt like she was gonna have to just go out and have a salad at some point or another... Speaking of meat, which she was still eating, was scorpion meat a red meat or a white meat? And if it was a white meat, was the part she was eating light or dark? Hmmm... many many questions... Oddly enough, eating this stuff didn't bring her mind to the giant scorpion claw she had in her room.

1) Rock slide frenzy:
Something has caused a massive rock slide on (insert mountain name). This isn't really something that bad but due to the change in topography from the war with the Earth Master, a path has been cut right to the village. Stop the rocks from hitting the village and stop them at their source. There's rumor of a pretty nice vein of gold in that section of the mountain. Maybe you'll find something.
Rules: User must stop the stones using one of three methods.
A-Destroy the rocks with Taijutsu -Must destroy 10 stones or more each with a DC starting at 20(1D20+str mod). Multiple rolls are allowed to reach the desired DC for a rock so long as you have enough attack turns. You may add up your Taijutsu rolls for one post to equal the DC asked of your class.
Gennin DC - 20
Chunnin DC - 30
Jounin DC - 60
ANBU DC - 70
Kage DC - 120
B-Build a trench/hole to hold the rocks-Must big a trench to hold 10 stones or more. The trench has a starting DC of 100(1D20+craft device skill). The player can add multiple rolls in separate posts to gain the required DC. Each post can only have as many rolls as the character has attack posts.

C-Construct a barrier to stop the stones- Construct a barrier to stop the force of 10 or more stones falling right towards it. Each post can only have as many rolls as the character has attack posts.

Other: If option C cannot be completed in 10 posts, you may choose another method and restart the exercise. One point will be deducted from your exp if you switch methods.

Special: If, after completing the above exercise, you wish to attempt the gold rush, only the person that reaches it in the least amount of posts (shortest time basically) wins it. DC for climb starts at 200(1D20 + str. mod) with no post limit.
*Every other post for this side quest, the user must either avoid or destroy a boulder that rolls towards them. The boulder DC for dodging and destroying starts at 20 and increases by 5 for each new boulder. Dodge(1D20+tumble skill) Attack(1D20+str mod)

Roy walked onto the scene and looked about for a bit. He looked all around and soon sighed a bit. What was up with all these rockslides lately anyway? He looked around to the others already trying to save their home from the horrible disastrous and decided he might as well join in.

Roy was quicker this time than last. He was a bit more focused as he didn’t really want to be out here for that long. He had learned a pretty solid method for building since last time and also, he had a bit of help. He had dragged the ANBU under his mothers control out here to help with the barrier and drag them along for all the heavy work. He had planned on building a pretty solid barrier using wood as the braces and stone as the main wall.
Craft Device: 62+15=77
Next, he would have them build a bit higher and then begin to gather some planks of wood from a nearby construction sight. Using the planks, he would have them put some in the center of the stone circles. It was all done so much quicker than if Roy had done it himself. By the time they were finished, he had fallen asleep on the hillside out of the way of the boulders.
