Darshendros the Eternal Kanashimi Kurai Adrienne obliged, starting first with the neck and moving down to the shoulders and then the back. Moving down she massaged along the spine and then moving back up, she worked her way out from the spine, pausing only when she hit a stubborn spot. Kaiser laid himself out on his stomach over the bed while Adrienne massaged his back, wincing and making soft moaning sounds as she worked her magic on him. I should've asked for this sooner! he thought to himself. He laid his head on his hands and closed his eyes, nearly falling asleep."Going to go to sssleep on me?" She couldn't blame him if he did, he had been up half the night drinking. Her hands moved up along the spine and the back of his neck.

"Well for starters I do have the plans finished..." Dawn was blushing slightly at Marks mention of what the security team had told him.
She turned to the Lament supervisor with a bit of a smile. "Well, we have new housing structures ready to go in, just as soon as the new foundations are ready. I also have a bunch of idea's about rebuilding the local infrastructure quickly." Now was her time to wonder if Mark had her things brought here already or not sweatdrop

Though he didn't know what she was thinking, he caught on quickly where the conversation was headed. "I have those buildings on the way. ETA is about an hour; an hour and a half if they take the time to refuel the airship. You don't mind if we use our own buildings for the Outer City, do you?"
Yes, the plan was to decimate the shoddy housing that was there now and replace it with their own stuff via the same methods of the company that Dawn had suggested to them. It had become industry standard, and RI did keep up with the times.

We don't mind what you put in as long as its livable and cheap to repair. Especially in that area of the city. Since they'll be in the range of cannon fire if the need arises, we'll need to be able to repair them with ease and at a low expense for us, and yourselves of course.
The Colonel chuckled a bit at his last comment, but continued on with his questions. he wanted to have a good grasp of the situation and progress before he even thought about leaving. So, hopefully the Chief and the Architect didn't have anything too terribly important to do for the next few minutes.
So, give me a progress report. What all has RI done, and what do they still need to do? What are the next steps in the plans? Where are you going from here? And, what can WE do to help the situation along?

Dawn mostly just took mental notes of the conversation. "The housing units are not made of stone blocks and therefore are a lot easier to repair... although I will admit that I mostly had natural disasters in mind when I thought of these housing complexes. But if they can stand up against a hurricane with only minimal repairs then I belive they can stad up against canon fire."

Mark nodded. "Yeah, so they'll be easy enough to repair. As for the progress, what you see here is one of two apartment complexes that'll be placed here in the Inner City. We've found a good spot to place the foundations for our second location about a hundred kliks northeast of this position.
"Now that we have the plans, all we need you to do is tell us where exactly the best place would be to start building. Usually, it's best if the offices have a centralized location in the city, but it's your call where you'd like our location to be... well, located."

With all due respect miss, anything that those magical artillery cannons come into contact with when they fire will be reduced to dust and debris. Thats why we wanted the structures cheap and easy to replace and repair, because if a threat got into the city, they'd be the first buildings to go.
The Colonel then looked back towards the Chief as he spoke, and took into consideration what he was saying about the apartments.
The apartment buildings should be located in the middle, or central middle sections of the city. The Inner city is mostly reserved for the wealthier citizens. And while we don't discriminate, it would be inconvenient for the wealthier citizens to have to give up some of their property to make room for living quarters that they will not be living in. There should be plenty of older buildings in the sections I've mentioned that could be torn down and the areas used for the construction of these apartment complexes.
As for your second branch of RI, we've already purchased some of the more expensive Inner City properties in areas extremely close to the tower itself, and some of them were graciously donated to us by landowners especially for this project. Your facility will be among the most highly guarded in the whole of Lament, and have unsurpassed access to our military personnel and armory for self-defense purposes. Of course proper security measures will be in place to prevent any "inside jobs" so to speak. I have the areas that have been selected for you here, feel free to look over them when you get the time.
The Colonel reached into his uniform and pulled out a rolled sheet of paper, which he set out on the table for the pair to see. It was a blueprint of the Upper City with zones and markers in place to show the locations for each building project that needed to be addressed.
The Military took the liberty of assigning zones to each project that we currently know about to help speed construction. All the areas listed on this map are already evacuated and ready for demolition or refit purposes, and the property is already property of the Government, which should make it easier to get you access to it.

"Nnn... this is a pretty solid setup you got here. And I see we've already hit one of the zones on the mark. The other one shouldn't be too hard to set up a camp at. Dawn, you're in charge of supervising the construction of the Raven Industries branch." He pointed towards the squared off zone near the tower.
"My teams will be working here, as well as in the other specific areas that need work in the Outer City. We got about one hour before the first buildings for that sector come in, so I expect those homes that used to be standing on the east end to be properly leveled and their spaces cleared by then."

Oh, you needn't worry about that.
The Colonel grinned as several thunderous blasts rocked through the tent, bits of dust flying by the entrance.
I didn't get to say it earlier, but all those areas have already been marked for demolition. As you can hear, we planned for simultaneous detonation of the charges. By the time you get there, our troops will already have them cleared. The others will be in the process of cleaning the debris from the other sites. And we'll have all the sites cleaned and ready for construction by this time tomorrow. We're experts in debris sanitation duties, and we'll have 24 hour groups working on it. So get your things ready when you can. We'll be waiting for you.
The Colonel stood up, brushed some dust off of his uniform, and straightened his hat, before extending his hand to the Chief, and the Architect respectively.
It's been a pleasure meeting you both, but I have other duties I must attend to. Thank you for your time. If you need to reach me you can do so at the Head Office of Lament Security. Until then, I must be going.
The Colonel would then bow, turn, and take his leave. He had a report to make to the Monarchy. And they didn't like dawdling.

Dawn smiled as she shooh his hand, wondering if his demolition crews were as effective as the fruit-loop that had tried to attack her was, but right now she needed to show Mark those plans and show him the best way to properly construct the extra levels that she had planed for the RI Lament Center

"Hmmm... this isn't too bad of an idea. But once again, you're in charge. I'm putting a few of my team members under your supervision- you're the one with the plans after all, so you're the one who has the best idea of how to get it done."
Mark raised an eyebrow. "Or... do you have a problem with leading a few people? That's part of being a Division Chair, after all."

Dawn was just distracted enough that she wasn't really paying attention to what he was saying, trying to figure out how to build the lower levels without mentioning to the city that there even were lower levels. "Hum? Oh I have no problem leading a team.. nothing this big before but it is all a matter of thinking to scale. Have we got about 500 steel I beams ready, or would I have to wait for them to be delivered?"
0.0She looked up at him suddenly, sky blue eyes wide with surprise."Wait... Division CHAIR?" Dawns mind went blank at last, having encountered something that she had never even thought was possible.

"Mmm... mind you now, it won't happen right away. But eventually, that's what you'll probably want to go for. Look," he said with a sigh, "I'm gettin' tired of management. The perks are great, but I'd rather be in the field than in the office. Don't worry about those I-beams, we already have those on-site. You seem like a bright young lady, so I'll give you a shot. You get that RI building set up, and I'll put in a good word to the CEO."
He smiled for a moment. "You got some good ideas- we could use those down in Durem. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a city to start working on. Take care not to cause too much of a ruckus, hmm?"

redface Dawn smiled and actually blushed. She ducked her head for a moment and ran her hand through her hair. "I will do my best Sir... but I think you might have misjudged me slightly if you think I would stay happy in an office..." sweatdrop
"I look forwards to the challenge of helping to build and entire city, but for someone with my... extra...talents, always being in an office or at least off hands on a project would eventually drive me nuts." xp She laughed slightly and shrugged it off, scuffing at the ground with her boot.
"As soon as the site is ready I want to break ground. Get the foundation laid and then I can start on the actual architecture for this project!" xd Dawn was actually rather proud of her ideas for the RI tower, and its extra levels.
