Mit gasped, he'd felt the pull on his shoulder. The numbing had worked very nicely but his brain was already putting the pain in his shoulder. He breathed heavily, not wanting to worry about the others. "Thank you... Lady Violet..." He raised a hand burying it in Ambersky's feathers, "I'm alright Mate... Just a little pain... Why don't you go see if you can help Tora.." Mit's vision had narrowed to the golden and white feathers, "I can hear him growling..."
Ambersky looked up to Violet, his voice a whimper, "Will he be well, again?"

"Yes, there's nature all around us," Violet said, already working to heal the wound in his shoulder. "I will have more than enough energy to help him."

Ambersky nuzzled Mit one more time, before pulling away and stalking over to the captain, "Hello... You look like yourrr in a messss of trrrouble..."
The captain looked from the tiger to the Gryphon, and raised his chin,speaking through his broken jaw "Go ahead... kill me! I shall be a marter for Lord Aoilos."
Ambersky glanced at Tora, asking the tiger silently if this man was serious. His anger was letting his gryphon accent slip through, "Then we'll make ssssurrre you, can go back to the forrrressst to tell him how Mit has grown in power. You sssaw what he did to the Hunterrr... He merrrely let the man feel a frrraction of the magic he usssessss everyday... Mit keepsss all that and morrre in check..."

Mit raised his hand, palm up. It was shaking. "The knife was spelled... I couldn't remember any of the spells... Not even the one that would have shielded me from the back lash..." He was struggling to stay awake now, "I couldn't remember how to protect myself... I'm sorry for giving you so much extra work..."

Violet lightly touched her hand to his and repaired his burns. "Don't worry about it, it's no trouble," she said.

Now that the pain was too a minimum Mit started to lean one way heavily, "I really shouldn't have used myself as a lighting rod..."
He collapsed to one side, and passed out.
Ambersky stared down at the captain, like a man trying to figure out what to do with a piece of meat, "Tora my friend... What do you suppose we should do to him? Skin his face? Chop off his nose? His mouth? Take out his eyes?"

"I would say puncture his lungs, but I don't know how Violet would react to that," Tora said, "It would be one of the most painful ways to die, and it takes about fifteen minutes from the initial puncture to death."

Violet stumbled back a little after she had finished Mit's healing. She landed on her back side, her wings looking dimmer. She had probably overused herself doing all that magic.

The captain cringed away from the two, "I will die as a mortar..."
Ambersky flexed his wings, "No... I don't think we need to kill him, but mutilating him would be fun... If he wants to die so much when we're done... the b*****d can kill himself..."

Ambersky purred in agreement, He tapped in claws, expectantly, "Yessss... But I sssstill want to rrremove a body parrrrt orrrr thrrrree... or five... and Mitica isn't in any condition to stop me..."
The man tightened his jaw, "Leave me alive and I will make sure every man searching for you two can find you."
Ambersky tapped his claws again, "Then perrrhapsss we ssshould rrremove yourrr arrrmsss, and yourrr eyesss..."

Silva heard the two animals talking and landed next to Ambersky. She chuckled cruely. "Or we could place a nail in every one of his muscles so that he's agonized with every move." Silva suggested. The blade of her scythe dripped blood.

"even if you don't kill him, he still becomes a victim, instead of a failure," Violet said, putting a hand against her hand. "If you hurt him unnecessarily, think of how that would reflect on Mit. Do you want other elves to hate him, too?"
