Synthic was torn for a moment, but decided to see Daniel. She walked over and knelt down next to him, "Something wrong?" She asked.

Daniel looked to Synthic and shrugged. "I-I don't know. I just feel like I just lost something or someone." He said as he wrapped his arms around his legs and curled up. "Its hard to explain."

Synthic looked concerned, "Don't worry Daniel. I'm sure everything's okay," She said soothingly and gave him a gentle hug.

"You're probably right." He said as sat up, releasing himself from being curled up. There was a pause of him thinking before he suddenly burst. "Sarah!" He cried out. It was Sarah he was feeling. The girl that had been kidnapped just like himself by Zen and used as a messenger. She was another sister to him. Even though she liked Zen and he didn't, they were still close.

"Sarah." He restated. He remembered that everyone here would have no idea who she was. "Sarah was another person kidnapped by Zen and forced to work under him. She was just like me before I escaped. We got a long well and looked out for each other.." He said softly. "She was like my sister almost.."

He keeps using past tense, "Daniel..." Synthic said softly. She had a feeling she had met Sarah before.

[Oh wait, didn't Synthic actually meet Sarah? Back when Daniel was taken to the Stratus Spire, didn't she tell her where Daniel had been taken? Or something like that. Or was that someone and something else?]
"Shes dead. I can't see it, but I can feel it." He said with a sigh. He tried to be more manlike than a little boy and tried to keep in any tears, but one small one escaped and ran down his cheek.

(Yeah. Sarah helped Synthic back then)
Synthic moved to give Daniel a comforting hug. She wanted him to know that it's okay to cry.

How did she know what Natalie's intentions were? How did she know why she hated the wolf hidden beneath the bed? It was none of her business, so why would she stick her nose in where it didn't belong? Natalie scoffed and shifted so she could peer beneath the bed once again. The expression on her face turned sour as she glanced at the wolf beneath the bed.
"Leave? No, why would I?" She spat in response rather quickly to retaliate against his comment. "Who knows? Maybe I am foolish enough to do so." She commented, and a small smirk came to her face. "You're clearly frightened that I will. Look at you, cowering beneath a bed. You're still not out of harms way." She said suddenly, completely dismissing Synthic's two cents.
"You're a hypocrite." She stated suddenly, "a vile, repugnant, hypocritical villain. You have no reasoning behind your actions. For I did nothing but offer kindness to you, and you attack me in return?" She said with disgust, but yet a certain amount of pride. "So why don't you come out here and apologize, I don't hold grudges, you know." It was a tad bit of a lie, actually. She did hold grudges, but really, she wanted to befriend the animal... Well, individual. He was so cold and lonely, and it was probably for a good reason. But maybe if he opened up a little bit...
However, she was most likely the last person he would do that for. Though, it never did hurt to try, did it? Well, it kinda did, but I digress...
"I really don't see what you're so angry about." She said suddenly. "Or are you intimidated? Come on out here." She said softly, and a small smile pushed the corner of her lips upward. Her goal was to become stronger, and it didn't necessarily mean in a physical sense. She wanted to strengthen herself emotionally, suck up her pride and try to make her surroundings better. Nothing good came from immaturity and pride. And, look, she was even kneeling on the ground despite how dirty it may have been. Perhaps she did learn a thing or two from Kir, and from his kindness in which she needed to embrace herself.
"Now, come out here, or will I have to crawl under there?"-------------->>--- D e a r -- m y -- l o v e , -- s w e e t -- m o r n i n g -- l i g h t -------W a i t -- f o r -- m e , -- y o u ' v e -- g o n e -- m u c h -- f a r t h e r . . . T o o -- f a r

Durithill the Black Blade
|

____☾ When the finger points to the yonder мσση ☽ _←━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━ ━ ━ ⊱✩⊰ ╜ Durithill simply scoffed at Natalie as she spoke, his hateful glare deepening with each passing moment. "Kindness?" he said with a laugh as he wriggled backwards out from under the bed. He was no coward, after all, and how dare anyone call him such. "What kind of kindness allows you to force people to do things against their will?" he said with a sarcastic laugh. The bed made a small creaking noise as the wolf jumped up onto it once more and landed with a thump. Instead of lying down and making himself comfortable, however, he ignored the great discomfort her was in and sat up perfectly rigid. "If anyone needs to apologize, it is you." he added with a small upward gesture of his head.
So now it seemed to be coming down to a standoff between the two of them. Durithill was both physically and mentally exhausted, though he would never admit or show it, and he suspected Natalie was fairly exhuasted from her journey as well. The necklace around his neck jingled slightly, reminding him that he still had a small amount of energy left. It was enough to kill, but only just barely and he would have to score a direct hit from point blank range. If he didn't, he would be as good as dead, since he would likely pass out after casting the spell and then she would be able to do whatever she wanted to him. Provided none of the people here tryed to stop her, of course. So now it came down to who would make the first move. ☆✰★ Theƒσσℓ will look at the fingertip ✩

Zayne stroked AMaranth's hair a few times over before finally rising from beside the bed. "Look, if you two can't get along, fine. But these two need to recover, so save the tough guy acts for later," he remarked, eyes narrowed. He didn't want to deal with their petty arguements right now. He was getting quite annoyed with them when there were more serious matters at hand.

Synthic couldn't agree more. They were bickering like children.

Jessica appeared in the very entrance of the cave and started to walk silently through the cave in search of some clue that Renata had been through here. To say that she had no clue as to where she should start was a vast understatement. The entrance seemed dark at first thanks to the lack of light until the city that lied within was reached. Not wanting to draw attention to herself Jessica fumbled through the darkness, her once feline grace seeming to have left her. Finally she reached the city and once again found herself lost as to where to start. She could start with people but chances were that Renata had not come here through the streets if she was indeed in the same company. Slowly Jessica made her way through the streets eaves dropping as much as possible with hope that some one would mention the group that she was in search for. If not Jessica would have to search elsewhere. This was going to grow tiring fast.

Amaranth's eyes opened. For a moment they looked cold, but then life flooded back into them again, "...I'm up Kir...I'm up..." She moaned, completely forgetting where she was.
