Kurenai whimpered when he snapped at her. Apologizing to the woman, she sniffled before biting into her neck.

Mark watched Kurenai as she fed for the first time as a vampire.

Kurenai forced herself to stop drinking the womans blood and she sat back, wiping tears from her eyes. She was still apologizing to her.

Mark looked at Kurenai and lifted her chin up to make her face him. "Stop apologizing, there's nothing you can do to change what you are." He said and bit into the women drinking a little before closing her wounds.

Kurenai sadly nodded. She couldn't blame anyone for what happened, only the Vampire responcible. She stood up and wiped her tears away again.

Mark wrapped his arms around Kurenai and pulled her into a hug. He kissed her head softly as he held her.

Kurenai hugged him back. Even though they were both cold, she felt warm in his arms.

Mark made his eyes go back to their nature brown color so she could see them.

Kurenai's eyes were more of a golden shade. She leaned up and kissed him on the lips.

After a while she pulled back. She reached her hand up to stroke his cheek lightly, like she was meekly admiring him.
