As the gunner began to fire, Rufus stepped forward and cracked his knuckles. It echoed within the square, it was so loud. The reason became clear as soon as he made his move. Rufus slammed his palm into the ground. For a split second, nothing happened, then the ground roiled like a wave before shooting up to about 20 feet. It blasted rapidly at the lead car. The driver attempted to swerve, but the wave caught his vehicle and lifted it, before dropping it back on the Humvee behind him. "Assault 1 and 2, go!" he shouted to the two, not using their real names.

Anatoly rolled his eyes as he sprinted in. He had about 7 seconds of charge on his Skulltap, which he had re-primed as he moved forward. He still had the Letter Opener of Doom from the last mission in his pocket. He withdrew it as he sprinted forward, eyes darting for anyone who dared look at him.

One of the guards dove out of his vehicle before the doors could be frozen shut by Bitong. Seeing Rufus, he raised his gun and was totally impaled by a spike made of stone. It hit him in the chin and drove through the top of his skull, killing him instantly. Rufus stood with one hand against a small tree, smirking slightly. "Yang!" he shouted as spikes of stone began to shoot up randomly. "Find the damn sticker already!"

Bitong felt a smile break across his face as he ran forward to join in. "Hell yeah!" He cried as he shot the energy from the mysticker down his arm, channeling it towards the first two cars, using the moisture in the atmosphere to make a line of ice through the air, until it hit the cars, where it spread around the car doors, pinning the military lackeys inside them. Bitong felt pleased with his work, but was worried. He only had a level two mysticker, which meant that the ice would hold for only about three minutes. "Rufus!" Bitong cried " Move it! You have three minutes before the ice breaks!"

Rufus groaned. "Damn it!" He pulled his arm off the tree with some apparent difficulty. The spikes receded into the ground as Rufus took a stumbling step before catching himself. "Yang, start at the front and meet me in the middle!" he shouted as he ran for the back of the line. "Bitong, make sure no one gets out of these cars til we're done!"

"Got it Rufus" Bitong replied, already at work, freezing the last of the car doors shut. "They're all pinned. I'll keep them in their cars for now though." Bitong added as he ducked a bullet that whizzed by his ear, a shot from a panicking soldier. The soldier was quickly dispatched by an icicle suddenly forming in his eye. Bitong got back to work, keeping the doors frozen shut with quick, controlled bursts from his mysticker.

Anatoly began working his way down the convoy, searching each car as he went. Skulltap, break the ice with his Ice 1, used the Letter Opener on their forearms, empty the car, move to the next.

Deciding to help speed up the elimination process, Bitong started sprouting icicles in the guards heads, using the nostril as an entry way for the necessary moisture. Since it only required a small jab to kill a guard, Bitong was able to keep the doors frozen, and clear out a car.

Rufus jumped into the back of the last truck in the line. The guards were frantically trying to get the door open when it was suddenly blasted inwards, killing two instantly. Rufus stepped through the hole, a large battering ram of stone still retracting into the ground. "Where is it?" he asked. One of the soldiers raised his rifle. He wasn't quite fast enough to fire before a thin little piece of stone shot through the side of the van and lodged itself in his cerebral cortex. "Where is it?" Rufus repeated. As two of the men went for their sidearms, they were slammed together by twin pillars of stone. "I'm getting tired of this," Rufus said as he approached the final living guard. "Tell me where the damn sticker is already." The woman stuttered for a second before mumbling something. Rufus leaned down a little. "What was that?" A slight twitch was all the warning he had as she lunged with her knife. After feeling the blade bite into something soft, she grinned and looked up. A thick vine had entwined itself around Rufus' neck. The knife was stuck in it. As she went to pull it out, the vine wrapped itself around her hand and pulled her forward, holding her nose to nose with Rufus. "Bad plan," he murmured, before winking. He turned to leave as the vine forced its way into the woman's eye socket. She died screaming. Van 1: one minute. There were seven vans in the train. They had to hurry.

((So, we are interrogating the guards? Or just you? If you are the only one asking questions, Venom can clear out the other cars. I'm off for the rest of the evening now, but I most likely will check in around 11 tomorrow. Joe, if you want, you can control my guy to keep the story going.))

((Oh, that was just me being dramatic. Oh well.))
In the third to last car, just before he would have met up with Anatoly, Rufus found a small, locked briefcase made of brushed steel. The guards already being dead, he took it and hopped down. "Find anything?" he called to the others. "Nope," came Bitong's voice.

"Jack-s**t," Anatoly declared, annoyed. He had left a trail of bloody, non-fatally crippled guards in his wake. "You?"

"Guess this is it then," he said, holding up the case. "What were we supposed to get again? Who had the paper?"
Hyro tapped his finger on the wheel impatiently. "Two more minutes. Almost there."

"Bitong had it last," Anatoly replied. Bitong dutifully withdrew the paper and read off the name of their target. "If that's it, let's get going. Fast."
