"Tokeru," she said as she listened to what he had to say, struggling to say it obviously, "I am not going anywhere, okay? You seem to think that I am going to run out on the Shadowstalkers or something. Yeah I only just joined and haven't earned my keep, but I will. And who better to hunt with to prove that I am a worthy Shadowstalker. We'll probably be seeing a lot of eachother since there are not very many Shadowstalkers." She smiled and winked to him, unsure if she would regret doing what she actually wanted to do. For being a vampiress her mind still seemed to fuction as it always did.

Tokeru smiled at her. "I am glad." He then stepped forwards and hugged her.
I don't know what I feel, but what I know is that i'm much happier when she is here, and she's the only person that has even stopped me from killing while in that state.
He let go of her and looked her in the eyes.

Edith was not sure what she should do, her stupid human emotions were wanting to embrace him back, to return his affection, but what would Reno think? Hell, that was a stupid question as she knew the answer to it all too well. She did have feelings for Reno, definately, but Tokeru was the one pulling her through her tough transformation. He seemed to understand and she felt sorry for him because he had been so upset at what he had done, called himself a monster, and yet when she had done the exact same thing he said she was special. "Good to know bossman." she said playfully.

Tokeru smiled, and brushed the hair out of her eyes, then let go. He looked down at himself, and noticed his clothes was completly messed up again. "Man, this is the third pair today, my sister is gonna kill me. She's the one washing my clothes for me."
While talking, his hand lowered and brushed and unmistakable area. Tokeru didn't notice as his hand was just lowering and it was an accident, but Edith would have.
He thought about kissing Edith once again, and was planning on doing it the next available moment, unless she gave him reason to think that she wasn't interested in him, which by her actions told that she was. He though this loudly enough that Edith was able to hear him through the "link" she had made in his mind.

Bridget looking for Tokeru asked several Stalkers where he was and finally
she found out he was in the 2nd floor cafateria with some girl named Edith.
Bridget took the elevator to the 2nd floor and entered the cafeteria.
She was amazed by the cafeteria's decor and the aromas coming from the kitchen. Even more surprising was that Tokeru was on the floor covered in cake along with a young woman she could only conclude was Edith. They both seemed to be having a good time.
Bridget faked a cough loud enough to be heard to get Tokeru's attention.
Then she waited for Tokeru's response. She didn't get any response from either of them

Seeing that Tokeru and the young lady in question were not listening to her and might not hear anybody at all at this time. So Bridget turned and left and headed for Tokeru's Office...there she analize the locking method
and after studying it Bridget knew it was a Mac Intosh 350. It would provide a challenge but she could crack it with a little time and she had the tools or the job. Checking out the corridor making sure no one was there
Bridget cracked the lock in 7 mins....not her best time but it would do.
she walked in Tokeru's Office and left the hard copy for him then left the office locking the door as she left.
She gathered Sanchez and went up to the weapons section in the Machine shop and with the specs. from her drawing she worked on building the prototypes of these new weapons. This was going to take some time and
She gave Sanchez the specs. for the ammo. they would be using and let
him get to work.

Eden was relieved that Tokeru had come out of his apparently emotional state and was now talking to her casually with his usual humor. She did not know if she could take another kiss from him and turn it down again. It was not as if she was officially together with Reno so she should not feel so guilty but then again he had announced his declaration of love for her. Why the hell did she have to be so cynical? Why the hell could she not believe someone when they told her they loved her? Was it because she had heard those very words come from the mouths of countless other men? Could it be because those words had come from the very man she had trusted and he repaid her by turning her into what she was?
Likely.
People probably thought she was a self-centered b***h, trying to straggle Reno behind her on some leash like he was her pet or something. They probably thought that she was trying to taunt him and lure him in only to shut him down. That sort of had been what she had been doing but it was because she was battling her emotions, battling with herself. She did not know what or who to believe anymore. The only goddamned thing she trusted now was her Lord and her kitten that was ever loyal to her and could not lie to her.
It was so hard to come out from behind that wall that she had built around herself to spare herself the pain of someone deceiving her again. She did not want to allow herself to be vulnerable only to be broken down again and again until she became so cold, so isolated, so inhumane that she no longer cared about people and she became the animal that she was. The worst part about having her heart broken would be that she would suffer the consequences forever until she finally walked into the light and forced herself to stay there. Or until she went so savage that one of her own allies generations from now shot her in the face, not giving a damn who the hell she was.
Irony is your only path, girl.
She was still shaken from what she had done. She had not even had the guts to tell Reno, Krii, Kerri, Lyds, Ski, or Will, anyone about what she had done. God how she needed to cleanse herself of her sins before she was consumed by them and the only way to redeem herself was to be obliterated by the Lord’s rays of hope he had made for his people so very long ago.
God have mercy on my tainted soul. Forgive me my sins and save me from the fires of hell. I am in need of thy mercy.
Finally after a few moments of spacing out and bowing her head, Edith came to only to see Tokeru staring at her like she was some insane freak. Hell, she was but the question was did it take one to know one or was she just kidding herself? “I need a shower so badly,” she said, deciding to use the all too common pun, “it ain’t even funny. Imma gonna need my clothes too so I can change into a new pair so I ain’t running around in blood spattered ones with days worth of sweat soiling them.”
All too suddenly the pain from the bullets embedded in her vest were back to annoy the hell out of her and she took off her black turtle neck then the actual vest. This left only her white tank top which had a V-neck, showing off a generous proportion of bare flesh as well as a bit of cleavage. Her muscles also stood out against the white tank top even if Edith was extremely pale. When she had pulled on her little getup she had not been able to find her bra so that made things a little worse though Edith being Edith did not really notice that she was giving Tokeru a pretty fine view. You would have thought from all the times she had run-throughs with absolute perverts that she would remember to wear a bra and know not to strip down from a turtleneck sweater into a V-neck tank top in front of a dude…
The next thing she knew, Tokeru had lowered his hand to her chest region and she blushed very much so. Next thing she knew she had him held tightly against her, her lips to his in a wild and passionate kiss.

Tokeru was surprised at Edith's actions, but yet very happy. He stood there for a second as she kissed him, and then returned it tenfold. His hands raised to tangle in her hair and he kissed he passionatly. All the while he was thinking. OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG. This is a dream, this is a dream. A very nice dream, but a dream none the less. He pulled away from her after a half a minute. He looked at her deep in the eyes, and said. "Wow" In a breathless expression. He then placed his hands on her cheecks, and kissed her again, gently biting her lower lip as he did so. Just to make sure that it wasn't a dream.
