Toby dived at the ground were Eric had just been at full force. The ground severely scratched Toby during the impact and Eric was nowhere to be found. Jumping up onto his feet, Toby discovered that a ring he had had on his finger ever since he bacame a vampire was missing. Great, now that scounral has my ring he thought.

The ring that Toby had lost was the ring that proved he was a high lord of his gang and clan. Well, if you didn't take it then who did you a**? Toby question, furiated. Just in case Eric was telling the truth Toby started searching the ground.

That would never happen. Unlike your little daisy picking clan, mine was centered around power with the code; Once a high lord always a high lord. Also the only way to become a high lord is to kill the last one in power.[Toby then snorted at Eric's ignorance.

Don't be so dumb. The old high lords have to be murdered with at least twelve vampire witnesses watching. If a high lord goes missing, me for example, they are still considered a high lord. That is why there are six high lords to a clan Eric. You shouldv'e known that. Toby mocked Eric's stupidity, but still couldn't help wonder if that was really the case. Toby had a confused and worried look on his face, but tried to hide it from Neasa.

At that remark Toby took out his dagger as fast as he could and flung it into the tree he thought Eric was in. With a look of hatred etched onto his face, Toby went into a fit of swear words, yelling them in anger at Eric.
