The song and dance had a story of its own, and Reiki was surprised that he was absorbed in it. He clapped softly as it ended, and whispered back to the sage.
"What happened to the sister(s)?"

"Right. Thanks." Reiki muttered to himself. He looked over at Akki, and then noticed the children. As she mingled with them, Reiki took note that he must not touch Akki..as in putting her in the same category as the other women he met.

She's really a good kid.

He stood up, approaching her. "That was a nice dance."

Akki noticed Reiki and smiled sweetly at him, her cheeks were flushed as she smiled.
"thank you im glad you enjoyed it, I hope the sage explained the dance to you" She said brushing some hair out of her face.

Akki smiled down at the children and waved goodbye.
She made a gestured for Reiki to follow her, as she led him back to the small temple.

"Well, The dance tonight was in honour of Chie, the goddess of wisdom and fire, and her struggle between the mandate of the gods and to do what was right." She reached the small temple and walked in, it was basically like a small bedroom with a table and pillow for you to sit on in the center, she walked in and motioned him to close the door behind them as she took a seat and continued the story.

"The story involves Chie's younger sister, the goddess of light Akemi and Akemi's unborn child. You see Akemi at one point in her life decided to live here in the world of mortal and when she did, she fell in love and married a powerful demon of darkness, but that, as you can guess, was also against the mandate of gods,but Akemi and Her husband, fiercely loved each other and withstood all the wrath that came with it." Akki poured themselves a cup of cold tea and warmed it using her fire abilities, all the while continuing the story.

"Chie who to was against the marriage ended up saving her sister and her sisters unborn child. The child to be born was a very feared, for never in the history of man,demon, or god, would their be a child with both powers of light and darkness, equally with in it. But of course during the course of the pregnancy their were complications, Akemi's own body began to reject the child due to the darkness within it, and Akemi and the child would have died had not Chie transfered some of her powers to the child and gave it a third element.Fire. Fire was to be the barrier, between the dark and light, a neutral within the child. For fire can be used for good of for evil." She paused taking a sip of her tea.

"So, Chie is to stand trial before all the gods and goddess of heaven to receive punishment for saving the life of the 'accursed child' which they were very literally banking on dying. To keep the balance. Though her own sister could no help her as she had, Akemi made a plea, to spare her, for all she did was save the life of her little beloved sister. And indeed the god spared her of most of their wrath, and instead of striping her of her powers and immortality, she was exiled to limbo,until the very day that the child of light,fire and darkness would die."Akki took another sip of her tea.

"Now the reason we tell the children this story is to show them that,even though you may do what you know is right,but if it goes against the rule, that they will not go unpunished.Which the priest and priestess fight among all the time.The priest believe that what the gods did was justified but the priestess think that they weren't. It makes for interesting debates."

A smiled flickered across Akki's lips, as she hid it behind her tea cup and took another sip.

"I grew up on these stories, they are part of me' She said with a straight face putting down her tea cup. the moon silver light slipping into the room slowly.

Akki had forget about the robes she was wearing.

"oh..yes i suppose i should.." She said finishing her cup standing up slowly.

"no peaking" She said jokingly walking behind a screen near the other side of the small room. Akki made quick work of the outer layers, it was the inner sash she always had difficulty taking off, the knot was always too tightly made.

"shoot...um..you wouldn't mind doing me a favor" she said her head peaking out from behind the screen.

Akki grabbed his hand on put it on the knot
"here it's this blasted knot...they always tie it too tightly...you think you could loosen it(?)"She was still behind the screen and he was still off to the side of it,if it all worked well, he wouldn't see her wearing the inner robe which looked nice at the top, but then looked more like a long night gown from the waist down.
