okay...
our head band director 1. made a lamp out of an old, broken trumpet.
2. likes to throw screw drivers (that he often conducts with) at people. and our assistant director that quit, he once threw a stand at a guy.
it was hi-larious. lol

Okay. It was like seven in the morning in the band hall. Me and like five other people were there. I got board, pulled out my instrument. Whispered to my friend. I then placed my trumbet bell on my head with my friend holding it, and paraded around the room. My band director was so mad, because we had a concert that night.

at a pep band game, homecoming game, actually,
the percussionist that wasn't playing that song found an actual snare for the drum set and during the song,
went down and busted it over the BD's head.
no joke.
well, he'd already been trying to break it.
and had come really close.
so it basically took nothing to get it to bust,
but it was hilarious.

My friend took red paint and painted his flute!
And I wired up christmas lights to the flute section in the christmas parade because I like making things like that and it makes the flutes look like the most awesomest instrument (because they are)
Adjust a small duck call and fit it into someone's trombone, that's funny.

I can think of a few DESTRUCTIVE things that has happened to my baritone.
like umm,
using it has a basketball hoop for trash!

one day my friend robert got part of his cleaning kit stuck in the bell of his trumpet ^^'
the band directer couldn't get it out and told him to try to play regardless
in the middle of a warm-up he blasted his horn and the cleaning piece hit someone in the head XD

I play the French Horn. My friend who sits next to me balances it on her head frequently. Apparently she's never dropped it either!

its not an instrument but sometimes my bd will tell us something while pointin her baton (or drumstick) and some times will let go... also me and my fellow flute friend will pretend were goin 2 throw our flute at some1 like a spear... also my trumpet friends (GIRLS and a boy) will blow across the bottom of their moutpieces and it will make a loud whistle... trust me, it annoys the bd

Okay, so our band's a leetle crazy. Anyway, every year, we have a Halloween Party, and this year (well, last year, technically. xD), some senior came dressed up as Michael Jackson, and brought his little brother along with him. Anyway, some of his buddies got so carried away, they started doing the Thriller while playing their instruments. xD It was AWESOME.

For home coming one year the trombone players duck taped pom poms to their slides. Our band director turned purple from yelling at them for ruining the trombones.

RinoaHeartilly My friend took her clarinet once and pretended it was a paddle and that she was in a kayak. O.o me and the fluts do that all the time when we have the 25 hour long break in a song lol
