Ryuu had been so absorbed in his own predicament that he hadn't noticed that battle that had occurred. by the time he took notice it was over. Consumed with concern for both parties Ryuu found himself forgetting about his trapped state. He pulls himself free with the little strength he can manage and stumbles to the ground. He gave off the appearance of being injured to the female apparently. "Hm? Oh no. Do not worry about me," Ryuu coos as he extends rather dirty hand towards the female. "I apologize for you worrying about me when you yourself are hurt. I only wish I could treat your wounds. but I am filthy and would mess up your attire." Ryuu seemed to smile bleakly at the female only wishing he could help her in some way.

Ryuu listens contently to the females story until acquiring her name. He found himself running the name through his head a few times in order to remember. Then he notices Night draw back from him. For a moment he thought he'd said her name over and over out loud and scared her but she soon spoke and reassured him he hadn't. He smiles widely, almost laughing at her statement, his eyes squinted closed. "Oh, I'd never hurt a female unless the need arose. Do not worry, Night, I will not harm you. As a matter of fact," Ryuu brings himself to his feet as his smile fades slightly, "I will protect you for the length of time that I am here. Should that man return, I will put my life on the line to protect you. You have my word." Slowly Ryuu sweeps both his arms out in front and then to the right of him. He lowers his head and leans his body forward in a bow. He then stands upright and peers deeply into Night's eyes. He extends a hand to her before speaking again, "Do you accept my meager offer of protection?" A smile again lights his face as he awaits her response.

Ryuu found himself wary about revealing his name to Night. He had revealed his name once before in the Academy and as a result found himself being sought out by someone. Someone who, oddly, resembled him slightly. Ryuu's smile fades as he stares at her. She had asked for his name twice now and he had yet to respond. He couldn't go on and not provide his name after she had provided hers. In addition, he couldn't not give her his name if he planned to protect her. He had to decide. Risk his new found friendship in exchange for his name or provide her with none and explain why he was reluctant to state his name. It would be rude if he did the second thing. "My name... my name is Ryuu Ensei. I do not live here and I haven't been here long. Actually, I just arrived a little wile before you were attacked before. I was stuck in the mud and couldn't aid you. My apologies both for not helping you when you needed it and for also taking so long to reveal my name." Ryuu pauses, his eyes drifting from Night and then back in a flash. "It's just that my name apparently causes much trouble for me." For a moment it seemed he would say more but he simply smiles again.

Ryuu gazes at Night a moment, musing to himself, before speaking. "Congratulations on graduating. Sadly, I quit the Academy. I am home schooled as is so going to the Academy was only an experience for me." Ryu slowly begins making his way to a small body of water. He planned to get cleaned off a little. "In my time there I was placed in a a classroom with a number of powerful ninja. I felt at ease knowing that my level of teaching was a bit higher than theirs so I wouldn't have to worry about anyone starting a fight and me being unable to stand up. I was wrong." Ryuu stops and turns around. He begins walking backwards, shoving his hands behind his back. He gazes into Night's vibrant green eyes as he continues on, his smile fading and then returning as he gazed into her eyes. "There was a man who resembled me in many ways. I could easily pass off as his brother. When I revealed my name and village to the class he grew angry and yelled at me. Before long the yelling faded out and he began to act. He tried to attack me but I was saved. Before I could thank the person who saved me I had fled. But I knew if I left then the boy would follow after and leave the class. He did but I escaped him again. And that is how I wound up here basically." Ryuu chuckles lightly as he turns around to face the water. "I am sorry but would you mind if I got cleaned up a little? I know this may seem odd but I cannot remove any article of clothing in public. I embarrass easily." His eyes shift over to a tall covering of trees and grass. "I will come over as soon as I'm done here."

Ryuu nods to Night and slowly steps into the shallow water. He turns his head to watch her go before sighing. He would have to get cleaned up quickly in case she needed him. He crouches down and draws water from the pool and splashes it onto his face. He washes away the dirt with the water and his hands the best he can before cleaning his hands some. He slowly removes his top and cleans the major spots before flinging them into a tree. He goes on to remove his pants and undergarments to do the same. His shoes were already done for so he didn't bother trying to clean them in the way he cleaned his clothes. He simply kept them on as he cleaned.

"Finally, done," sighs Ryuu to himself having cleaned himself up and clothed himself. His clothes were still a bit wet but he had done what he said and cleaned up. He had to go after Night in case she needed him. He only hoped she was fine on her way to her home. Ryuu extends his right hand outward as chakra surges all around it. Slowly a bow begins taking form in his outstretched hand. Sliding his other hand out to the side of him a container of arrows begin forming in the same way as the bow. Ryuu shivers once, the cold water and warm air beginning to mix around his body having caused it, before slinging the arrows onto his back. He clutches the bow in his right hand as he drags himself along in the direction that night had gone in.

Once spotting Night Ryuu reaches up his left hand and waves it side to side. "There you are," he calls beginning to jog towards her. "Nothing happened in my absence, did it?" Ryuu seemed to eye the way Night held her hair pin. He assumed she was afraid but she could be in the midst of battle.

Finally making it over to Night Ryuu examines her carefully to see if her wounds were dressed properly. They seemed to be. Night must be very good at dressing wounds. Even her own. He then looks around as the village in slight disdain. Then an idea hits him and he turns to Night and smiles. "Have you ever been out of this village before aside from the Academy? Perhaps we could go exploring elsewhere? Unless you'd prefer to stay here. I suppose there's something to do. We could help patch up the village since there seems to have been a huge battle that took place here."

Ryuu begins pondering. The best thing to do would be to aid in building the village. However, he had few things to use in order to help rebuild torn down structures, replant torn down trees, or even treat scorched land. Ryuu's face goes from smiling happily to a face not even The Thinker could capture. "There's always time for traveling. I think we should try out hand at aiding with the rebuilding of the village. It is the right thing to do." Ryuu turns to face the village and then back at Night. "I'll try my hand at tending to some torn down buildings." Then Ryuu's eyes grow large. "What if someone is trapped inside? I've been standing here and getting cleaned up and... We better get into town and see what is needed of us. I can't believe I didn't put tending to the village first." Ryuu shifts his arrows around to his front and then extends his left hand to Night. "Please, allow me to carry you upon my back into town. I'm a very fast runner and I wouldn't want you to have to keep up with me with your injuries."
