((Haldis, Jarred, and the unconscious Pen are on the Star's Light. Cookie is on the prison floor unconscious, and unless Arix is in here, this thread is only waiting on Eric to say whether he's sticking around to do something or has also returned to the Star's Light.
As a side note, I would appreciate someone dragging Cookie aboard. I can probably arrange her escape, but she'll be out for another 15 minutes and not able to move for about 35. The faster this story moves, the more surreal and god-mod her escape is going to get. Unless someone volunteers to go back and get her in the nick of time. whee I can't let her die here, unfortunately. I've already rped her 3 years in the future.))

A.C. scowled. "The Rogue is not a Rough," she said, continuing their conversation from the bridge. "Rough is a gang, she's a people's hero."
Then she realized where they were and looked around. "Where is--oh!" Spotting the sheet over Lanita's body, she ran over. She swallowed hard and tears fell as she pulled away the cloth and saw all the blood. "That's--unn." She twitched as the rotting smell hit her. "F'ct. Um. Ow. That's pretty bad."
She looked up at Ora, her face pale. "You can't fix her. She said to get a grip, but I didn't know she was dead!" The girl started crying again.

((Lia and Arix had moved the body earlier and put a sheet over her, out of general respect.))
Ora walked up behind her. "I told you she was dead earlier." She shrugged it off, the kid wasn't very good with communication apparently.

"She didn't say that." The girl rubbed her cheek again. "I'm not making that up! I don't get why she's dead, she wasn't dead a minute ago... Hey, why are we all still here?" She looked up at Ora in surprise. "Wasn't there a ship? It was going to take us away, because somebody blew up too many spidrills?"
She had gotten some false information in the form of rumors while on the bridge.

"She was possibly reaching through a different realm, but in this one, she is among the dead." Ora looked at the prison which had been mostly emptied onto the star's light. "There is a ship to help rescue us, but another ship may be returning to destroy us. It is only a matter of time."

"Oh." The girl looked unhappy. "Let's go, then." She leaned over and picked up the Rogue's body in a fireman's carry, sheet and all, and headed for the door.

Ora looked at the girl in a funny way, although it wasn't obvious from the mask. "Go where? onto the ship?" (The whole "door" thing has me a bit confused, although that could be because of my lack of sleep.)

((Lol to that. You should sleep more, ED. So should I, actually... rolleyes The Rogue died in the guard room, by the door. Wouldn't they be in the guard room now, if that's where the body was left?))
"Yeah. I mean, this thing got blown apart, right? If we're going to get out alive, it's got to be on this other ship you said about." She looked back over her shoulder, puzzled. "Right?"

Ora nodded, "Right." her mind was on something else entirely though (like pasta...pasta sounds really good right now....that or sushi.) She needed to find the stone, and she needed to destroy it. Despite the butterfly's advice to give it to the girl, Ora still intended on finding a plan to destroy the stone. She didn't trust butterfly, or the girl, or the stone, and sometimes simplicity was by far the best plan. She closed her eyes a moment as they walked towards the Star's Light, and then smiled. The stone was most likely on the ship. The stone always liked being with all the people, just as much as she liked killing them afterwards.

"You can call me Lia." Ora said in a soft tone. She looked at the ship, and then set a decidedly dark gaze on Eric, but decided not to respond to Eric's comment.
