"Well...." Lin didn't think the book would lie, so maybe, "Maybe I mis-remembered it, because he didn't tell me I just saw it. That book I saw a lot of things well.. not a lot of things, only the trees that you lived in, and the those two trees.. .were there when the world was created right?"
Since there were only two, and she remembered seeing two trees that were created.
"What was it like living way up there?"

Ryu mused, "Feng doesn't have a sword, she uses battle fans," he ventured, "And I only have my sword here. I think they are in the bags."

"Oh," Aliya murmured. "Well ... it would take too long for us to go back and get everything ... perhaps we should do something else, then."
If they went back for their weapons, they wouldn't make it back in time to meet HalmÃr anymore.
Elros was quiet for several long moments before he answered Lin, moving silently between the trees. His eyes, usually bright, were softer, thoughtful.
"It was perfection," he murmured finally, so softly it was hard to hear him. "It was ... hard to describe, the words do not exist in the Common Tongue ... I find it difficult even to find words that might convey the smallest meaning of what it was like."

Haradhel had also been listening in on the conversation, and she leaned forward now to add, "Feng, your father asked me if I might teach you archery. Would you like to do that now? Or wait until another day?"

"Actually the bags are upstairs," Triton spoke up, he would have said something sooner, but he was beaten to it, "So you wouldn't have to go back all the way, and I'm still here helping Cindy so you can use my sword."
Since he probably wouldn't begin practice until the evening.

"Oh yea.. I forgot everyone else was going to stay here," Feng giggled, she had been silly and forgotten about that.
Though she didn't know that Donovan had requested archery lessons, but she wanted to just let energy out. Ryu personally thought if they could, sparring would be better, a bouncy mermaid and projectiles just couldn't go over that well.
"If that's the case then could we have the lessons tomorrow?"

Lin blinked wide eyed and wished she could be there and see it.. not just see it but experience it too. Wouldn't have it been grant? She wondered if angels lived up in trees at one time like birds, even though she was told they lived up in clouds.
"Oh...." she mused, "That's okay, that means it was very good that no one can say how good."

Haradhel smiled and nodded at Feng. "Tomorrow's fine," she agreed. "After all, you are going to be here for quite a while. It's probably better for me, anyways. What with all the excitement today, I'm feeling a bit tired."
Not to mention, her rest had been rather prematurely interrupted.

"Oh," Aliya blinked; then she smiled. "Okay, then. Thank you, Triton, that's really nice of you."
She paused. "Ummm ... which room would everything be in?"
Elros smiled. "I'm glad you understand," he murmured softly as he moved easily through the trees. "There are all too many people who don't, and who press when it makes no difference."

"Ah... I believe Donovan left some of the bags in..." Triton explained how to get to their side of the ranch house.
He knew that they were put into that one room so the twins could get at it when they needed to. Though it would mean they would travel from the river to the ranch without weapons, but it couldn't be helped.

"Oh, did you not sleep well?" Feng asked.
Though she had meant at night instead of a nap, and she didn't know anyhow that Haradhel even took a nap.

Haradhel smiled at Feng. "Well enough, I suppose, but I'm still getting used to living here, and getting the house ready for the children. But especially now that I'm pregnant, I find I get tired more easily."
She ginned at Serenity. "And of course, Serenity's arrival was a bit more excitement than I'm used to anymore. I have to admit, the married life has been a bit more quiet than what I used to live."

Feng grinned at that, "Well it won't be quiet evenually," she replied, "There are going to be a lot of people about."
So she wouldn't have to say that married life was more quiet than what she was use to.

"Well that's because they are so curious they want to know," Lin replied, "People can be very, very curious."
She giggled a bit at that, after all she was often very, very curious.
