Jackie appeared out of nowhere and walked over to the fire. She was wet and cold and sit seemed like she was going to be sick soon. She glanced over to Max before sighing silently. She then began to murmur something to herself. She looked like she was in a trance, just staring into the fire, watching it burn.

max saw jackie and walked over to her. he wrapped his furred arms around her and pulled her into the warm fur on his chest. "you look cold. how did you get so wet?" he asked her as he was trying to warm her with his fur.

As Jackie felt Max pull her close to her, she felt a pink blush spread across her cheeks. "I um...went to get water and I fell in the river...I couldn't swim but somehow I made it back to shore..." She said softly as she looked up at him, her cat ears twitching slightly.

"Th-Thank you..." She said softly as she shivered slightly. Though the heat from Max was helping her, she was still very cold.

Crow looked back at Strobe for a moment, slightly thrown off by the intense nature in which the request was presented. They were only a few hundred feet from the campsite now. He quickly unzipped his jacket again and pulled the files out, peering through them for a moment and then handing Strobe one, then proceeding to stuff the rest back in. He figured Strobe would probably be enthralled in the files for the rest of the short ways back, so he decided to pay extra attention to their surroundings as they continued back.

Strobe immediatly began to rifle through the contents of his file. It seemed that the name they had given him was correct, but found some other interesting information. Information that everyone needed to know about.

Kioko looked at Jackie.
"is that where you went? you should've said something, i was getting worried!" Kioko said
Kioko made a basketball sized orb with fire burning in it and handed it to Jackie
"it wont burn you or anything, but it shud help you get warmer. just keep it close to you okay?" kioko said smiling..

Jackie was unsure at first of the orb Kioko gave her, but once she held it close to her, she began to feel the warmth. "It's nice. Thank you." She said softly as she smiled, purring softly from under her breath.

((Hold off for a bit, I'm gonna try to introduce a new concept))
Strobe now could see the waterfall and entrance to their little cave hideout. He knew it had only been a few hours since they had left, but it felt like a lifetime. He clutched the file closer to his chest as he began to climb up to the rocky ledge the would lead him inside.

Crow walked up to the cave, wondering what to do now. There really hadn't been much for him to do at all, aside from making the cave, cleaning himself, and taking care of the small inferno earlier, all he'd really done was keep watch. He looked around at the others, Max had made it back okay, and Kioko and Jackie were fine. Crow decided it be best he just continue to keep watch, he walked over to the cave enterance, and hopped up onto the perch he'd left empty for quite some time now.
