The Hound tossed his gun to the Devil, and they switched places, only the Hound shot a blast of black fire at the ground around the Queen.

A dark shape moved in the sky above the party, then dropped swift as a rock. Near the ground two large black wings spread out to slow the descent of a black griffin. Cresil made a few screaching sounds as he came to halt next to Drake and Hells. The birdlike creature was there to collect his master, and made it clear, with a few snapping noises with his beak, and movement of his head towards Ora.

Arch the Angel "Chief, here!" The Devil yelled, pointing at the ground where Spades hid. The Hound tossed his gun to the Devil, and they switched places, only the Hound shot a blast of black fire at the ground around the Queen. Sharp stone blades began shooting out of the ground, where the devil and cheif stood. Across from them, despite still being week from her wounds, the Ruby look alike shot out blasts of her own fire, at the dark flames, to overcome them with her own power.

Verve noticed the queen was crying, which made him feel bad. "I'm sorry. I had to because you were trying to get us all killed and it would have looked bad if I let you do that because Im a hero and we have to stop people that do that." Verve moved in and gave her a hug, stabbing her in the back with the silver dagger.
Having failed miserably at his job, Blitz moped off the battlefield.

Eulalia Danae Laurel Talbot Alice pointed at one of the shades and a beam of coherent light lanced out from her finger. (Yes, you can learn things in high school - even when Xeen is the teacher!) The beam of light slashed through the transparent creature. it screamed in pain, but was soon torn to pieces by the attack, bits of itself floating off in the wind. Alice nodded in satisfaction, and continued firing off laser bursts at shades.

((Poor Blitz....if I had a living "good" character at the park right now, they would totally give him a hug.))
The queen of diamonds was about to accept his apology, when she felt the dagger sink into her back. Her eyes moved to his for a moment, before becoming water, her whole body melting away as she died. She became a puddle, and on top of it a dragonfly with a broken wing struggled to swim.
Alice's laser bursts were particularly successful, but not against the shades that had attacked guests and claimed the bodies as their own. The zorro moved towards her, unsheething a long thin sword.

Verve pulled the dragonfly from the water, feeling slightly bad about killing her in the sneaky way that he did.

She grabbed Cordelie's arm and closed her eyes, sheding a couple tears in the pain of having to concentrate. She was just human enough to have hidden in the AoH, but super enough to pull off being incorporeal if she tried hard enough. "...but making me ghosty is one thing," she whispered, thinking out loud, "and this is something else..." Just as Juliet's grip lost strength, she and Cordelie turned incorporeal. The former Black Ops coordinator fell to the ground, sinking past it a little, and panted, vision black. "If you... water them... you might hit now. But I just have this feeling... ghosts going through you might be worse than facing them on the same level." Cordelie grimaced as her body became little more than a coloured shadow of itself, and then made a grab for the barely conscious Juliet. With exceptional care, the hydrokinetic made sure the woman was in a comfortable position when she lost a grip on consciousness entirely, and then turned and set about doing the task that was given to her. Being as quiet and as inconspicuous as she possibly could, Cordelie pulled the collapsed remnants of the Queen of Diamond's water beasts toward her, and with great concentration and effort drew the energy out of each molecule, slowing, cooling, freezing. Three foot long icicles now hung in the air above her hands, which Cordelie proceeded to shoot experimentally toward one of the shades that wasn't in a direct line with any innocent people and prayed to every diety she knew of that it would work. (3, 5, 45)

Cresil chittered, and moved to the side. The black feathers on his body bristled slightly, and he snapped his beak in anger, but held himself away from Hells.
He made his way to the other bodies. The dark sheild around Ruby dissolved at his approach. He gave a respectful nod to Marcos, indicating he was not an attacker. With gentle claws he blithely swiped up the bodies of Ruby and Amanda. His wings spread out and he flew off in the direction of safety, leaving the park and its troubles far far behind.

He spread his wings, and quickly flew after the Gryphon. The blades dissolved soon after they hit the wall, but the earth around the cheif began to move, sucking him down into it. Cresil glanced behind him and screached at the approaching Devil. He did not know the creature and assumed it was an enemy. He slowed down to a hover, both bodies hanging limp in hi claws. He clicked his beak in challenge, preparing to attack the new threat.
