Cayne was startled when Psychs slammed his fists on the desk. "y-yeah..." Cayne agreed, still startled.

Upon entering the music room, Valdis shut the door behind her and sighed.
She looked around. What could she possiplay with today?
The first instrument that caught ther eye was the piano. So she pulled back the chair and sat, staring at black grand piano.
After taking in a deep breath, she began to play her favorite piece.

" i know it was more then one question but they they were basicly the same, you can tell me now or later on. the most important thing is that you answer it not only to me...but to yourself or you can go without answering its your choice really "

Mello grinned as she skated through the hallways of Yin. A few memories flooded her mind as she looked around a few places, reminding her of her past days there. It brought a momentary frown upon her features but it quickly vanished at the next moment.
As she skated her way to the chemistry lab. she heard someone playing the piano in the music room. Remembering that Val had said that she was going to the music room she glanced by the window as she skated past and glimpsed that it was indeed her that was playing that piece.
[Mello]
'Czardas, eh?'
*smirks*
'She's good.'
[OoC]
Upon arriving at the chemistry lab. she gently put Kat down on one of the tables and proceeded to getting some ingredients from the cupboards and the cabinets. After having collected what she needed, she set the ingredients on one of the tables, got out her green notebook and a pen and proceeded to working on an experiment.

A large curved retort was boiling furiously in the bluish flame of a Bunsen burner, and the distilled drops were condensing into a two-litre measure. Mello hardly showed any signs of hearing Kat as she concentrated on her experiment. She dipped into a bottle, drawing out a few drops of each with her glass pipette, and finally brought a test tube containing a solution over the table. In her left hand she held a slip of litmus paper.
She finally turned to face Kat and held the two items in front of her, looking at her seriously.
[Mello]
"If the litmus paper remains blue, then all is well. If it turns red, it'll mean Val's life."

Kat looked at Mello and felt the seriousness. She noted the serious face and the serious tone and she looked at the liquid and litmus paper. She gave a nod in understanding.
[Kat]
"You know..."
*sighs*
"I wouldn't care too much about a student like this. You know how I am."
*looks again at Mello*
"Val is... interesting. So I'm hoping for the best."

Valdis raised her hands elegantly as is normal for pianists. Same goes for her foot that was pressing the pedal.
She laughed.
Ever the deranged musician.
She sighed, finally stopping her fit of guffaws. Her family never approved of her playing, never appreciated it.
Well. Her brother was always the star.
... Even after he died.

Finally she said something else "Well, the only thing i can tell you right now is that it has something to do with family... and friendship...i'll tell the rest i guess...later on..when i feel like it" she said bluntly as she slouched on her desk with her arms infront of her and closed her eyes.

Mello steadily held the test tube as she slowly dipped the litmus paper into the solution. The litmus paper immediately turned violet as it made contact with the solution.
Mello looked slightly disappointed but she shook her head trying to rid herself of that feeling. Yet even with that disappointment she smirked to herself.
[Mello]
"This is very interesting..."
*smirks*
"Since the litmus paper turned violet, the combination of blue and red, it means I have a 50% chance of finding the cure. Which means this solution..."
*puts test tube at eye level*
"...is missing one particular ingredient."
*sighs*
"You know what this means, right? I'd have to go away for a while to search for that. I hope there's still some of them left!!"
*scratches head*

Mello began scribbling the data she collected in her green notebook. As she scribbled, plans of what she was about to do were already forming in her head.

Kat was relieved that there was at least 50% chance as Mello said there was. She sighed out of relief then looked at Mello to see how... what was the word? How seemingly eager she was to do this.
Again, Kat let out another sigh for another reason, though she didn't want to think about it. She stares at Mello for a while, watching her write down information and data before going back to thinking.
Wait, she didn't want to think. She's not one to think about... such things as... Oh, she didn't really want to think about that either.
She sighs again.
[Kat]
*looks at Mello*
"How long will it take you to actually find this... ingredient?"

As Kat asked that question, Mello thought about it for a while. How long was it going to take to get that certain ingredient? Mello contemplated on the thought for a while before coming to a decision.

Kat stared at Mello for a while. She thought about it first.
"You wanna come?"
Should she? Did she want to? No, did she need to? Did she have time to? They didn't even know how long this was going to take. Would she be allowed to when she was supposed to-
'Ow. My head hurts,' she thought. She wasn't supposed to be thinking about this. She was over reacting. That's it. Of course she could-
[Kat]
"I can't. I have... things to do."
*looks out the window to see some students training outside*
". . ."
*stares for a while before looking away, eyes closed*
"Yeah, stuff to do."
*licks paw*
