Boone blushed a little, "I don't know why they won't speak to you; you're really nice. And much better company than Shannon or Locke." Of course, that wasn't saying much for Claire, but he didn't mean it as an insult; those where the only other two people on the island he had spent much time with.

Boone hoped that Claire had taken what he said to mean what he wanted it to. She didn't seem upset, so he figured she did.

Claire continued laughing, she couldn't stop. Oh god she hated those moments where she laughed and couldn't stop. It made her look stupid, but 'whatever' she thought as she continued to laugh.
"I..I'm S..orry"
She managed to say between tow long seires of laughter.

Boone had to laugh himself, though he wasn't sure at exactly what he was laughing at. He enjoyed spending time with Claire a lot more than he did his sister, so he was in a much better mood than he had been in longer than he could remember.

Claire finally managed to stop. She took a deep sigh and smiled.
"That felt good"
And it really did, it felt like all the worries had lifted off of her shoulders.
