"Roarke. Hm, you're usually not one to forget a name." Which spoke of his own distraction or his own carelessness to the mage. Though she guessed it was well within character for him...if you really didn't matter, Malik tended to filter out your existence. "Any one from off plane probably wouldn't be able to come if this whole soul cross existence thing is in effect here." Namely people like Cymarron who had a double. "As for Andal...I never really had too many friends." She maybe had had one or two real friends besides Kaden at the time, but other than that she had had acquaintances. Great, thanks Malik, now she was thinking about old friends long lost. "Not like I mind...I told you it could just be you and me and I'd still be as happy."

"Yes, that was his name. he owes me warships, and one ship for Kat's father to transport cattle. And as for it being just you and me...well...if a tree falls and there's no one to hear it, does it make a sound? if a wonderous thing happens, and there is no one to witness it, what greatness can it have?"
a slight grin, and a lean over and a soft, tugging little kiss.
"A wedding is somethign to be seen, to be cherished not only by those in it, but by those that want to see it. by those that want to stand by that couple, and help them through thick and thin, good and bad."

"Yes it makes a sound you silly elf." Leave it to Piper to be able to contradict that. "At least to those if us with wood elven blood it does. Maybe some other surface elves." It was the whole in tune with nature thing...trees were not happy campers when they fell at all. Unless they wanted to, then they were happy. But just a smile at him and kissing him back, giving one of those little melodic laughs of hers as her mind was pulling itself up back from painful memories of old friends and homes. "Since when are you so well versed on weddings A'mael? Aren't we just supposed to agree not to maim or kill each other, otherwise unless god or guild commands it so?" It was grand to know that she did listen to him, wasn't it?

"Quite true of the Tier'dal. and probably with your normal Drow. but that doesn not mea that I have not been to or witness a non drow wedding on occassion. wether I was there as a guest or not is beside the point, but I have seen them. and I think you woudl prefer that to a Drow wedding, correct?"
another smirk.
"and according to your parents, I am supposed to make you happy, isn't that right?"

"Correct on both points A'mael. And I belive my father would be willing to bring you a world of hurt should you fail in thay self taken task. After all, you've made a promise to them and you know us elves, we love our promises and to keep to them." A little shrug, "I was just saying on the principals of joke and compromise. You know me, always one to please." Unless she truly objected. But an apple core was thrown down on the plate in front of her and she went about gathering what they didn't want into a pile, always one to be neat as well. "We're not spending an arm or a leg on things are we?" Though she'd doubt Malik to tell her the truth about costs, he'd done it before. She just didn't want to have to fuss over money. Pushing her chair from the table she stood, tugging at her bandana a moment.

"Cost is a relative issue, Chev'. as I do not know what the average cost is, I don't know if we're spending extravagently or not. and either way is not that big an issue, money we do have, and it keeps coming in."
Eating for himself his meal of steak and eggs and the like. not bad food. maybe he'd try some of the more exotic Andalian fruits later, but looked over at her bandana.
"You know you don't have to hide your ears. why are you wearing the bandana like that again?"

Drenched in the blood of many creatures, not to mention a few stray beasts, Tarathiel/Kimmuriel reached the outer walls of Blindingstone Castle, and smirked. "Hey." He waved, "I've got an appointment with the Oracle."
"Welcome sir." The guard said as he opened the portal in. Sstrl was leaning against the far wall.
"Not much happened lately sssir." The lizard said.
"That is not good. Not seeing the enemy is always bad news." The paranoid drow said with a chuckle.
Sstrl opened the wall to let the captain pass the second barrier.
Approching the final barrier, Tarathiel pressed his hand against the wall and waited. A few moments later, Jin Jinn opened the entrance and walked to meet the captain.
"What is it?" He asked with a rather irritatied tone.
"Something is not right."
"I know, too quiet for my liking. I tried to convince some Orcs that this castle was the better target, but they simply ignored my protests."
"You tried very hard, judging by the blood."
"They got in my way." The drow waved his hand at the gnome, and passed by.
A short time later, the drow was walking back towards the entrance, rather distant for himself. The gnome sidesteped to aviod getting in the captain's way. "What is wrong."
Tarathiel held up a scroll, and sneared. "I have to go pay someone a visit." The sound of those words caused the gnome's heart to skip a beat or two.

She groaned softly, her eyes feeling gummed together with a long sleep. How odd, she didn't remeber going to sleep. She didn't remeber much of anything after recieving the bones for her scrying. She cringed, her shoulders hurt....
Well no wonder, she had fallen asleep with her hands above her head. But...she couldn't move her hands. In fact, her wrists were chaffed...and she was awefully cold, like she had gone to bed over top of the sheets.
She opened her eyes...and saw nothing. Not a thing, not a spec nor flash, her sixth sense was completely shut off, like someone had turned off a tap.
"Well certainly, you can't see. Simply build a room where the Earth Mother cannot reach and hey, suddenly her desciple can't see the river of time. How very convenient for me. Oh yes."
He checkled. "Surprised, yes? I thought so, hoped so. I was after all, supposed to be dead. Indeed, the Tier-Dal acted beautifully. As if I had writen him a script." He whiped a fake tear from his eye. "Oh tut tut, don't struggle dear. You'll just make those wrists of your bleed."
He had a wonderful sense of humour, didn't he? The first time, he had held her in a standing position with no restraints. This time, he gave her that little glimmer of false hope. Shakled to a bed.

Lavi landed in front of the drow, "You know where we must go." The drow said rather hotly, the dragon shoke his head. "Then I shall tell you on the way." The dragon lowered his body, and the drow hopped up. Lavi turned his head to look at him, and then took off. Usually, Tarathiel would ride closer to the front, unless of course, he expected battle.

"Just asking." She had a thing about money after all, no need to spend extravagantly. But if he wanted to not care about cost then she would not fault him on it. It was his wedding too after all. So a little shrug to that whole issue. "But I suppose so, money doens't seem short." Actually much to her dismay seeing most of it came from what she didn't find favor in. Though a blink at him, leaning on the table with one hand. "I...don't know?" Oh she knew, it's name was Sevilin. Well that was only half the reason. "Don't worry about it, I'm used to it and you know that. Really." She was quiet a moment before she perked up, grabbing a cinnamon stick from the table and taking to chewing on it. "So then, Lord D'Vinn has time to play does he? Hm, wonder what I can talk you in to." Hm...come to think of it, she'd never seen him handle a bow...ooh intriguing.

A quick survey of the land from his ariel purch gave the drow all the information he would need. Landing Lavi on a road, a safe distance from his target, the drow walked steadily forward. A goblin of some sort poped out of a hole in the ground, and asked the drow why he was there. Without so much as a change in direction or pace, the drow cleaved the creature and continued on his march. The great gates of the Trimunative fortress lay just a head of him, and the oversized guards, or at least the visible guards, flanked and ready, awaited the approach of the drow.
"Fetch." Was all they heard when the lone figure was a short distance away, his eyes staring intently at the gates.
The Castle to the north had some heafty movement before all went quite. The magic and the caste had proven to be ineffective. A change in tactics was required.

She couldn't beleive what voice she was hearing, what things she was feeling. Her cheeks were flushed, as she knew she was not in a very flattering postition, and judging from the chill on her skin she wasn't much clothed either. She couldn't gather the corage to speak.
"Rather quiet, aren't we? Usually so talkitive, your kind."
She felt the side of the bed sag as he sat down next to her.
"I once had your First in such a position. Oh! I have a splended idea. I bet you'd like to see just what sort of position you are in, mmm?"
She cringed almost violently when she felt him touch her skin. His thumb and middle fingers grabbed at her temples, putting so much pressure into the sqeeze that she thought her skull would cave. He removed his hand, but a thrubing ache lingered. She slowely oepend her eyes. And nearly cried out, when she discovered that she could see.
He stood up from the bed, spinning on one booted heel. "How do I look in my new body, dear Meilikki? Just like it used to." Black hair was tied back in a long braid, dark skin and slanted eyes, his iris a deep blue. He was the exact image of his brother, save for the colour. "It Took me quite some time gathering all the components for this body, you know." He rest his head on his hand, his elbow on his othe hand, looking stressed. "First with all the bodies it requires to make one, then with the genetics to make me look like myself, as well as have my full poewr as a demi-god...and you of course. You complete the plans."

She leaned back on her hands on the table. "You know, I've never seen you handle a bow before and my little mind bubbles with the possibility of that." Hell she wanted to see if Malik was as bad at it as Kieran was. Kieran was certinally not one for bows at all. It was funny to watch. Maybe Malik could provide some laughs as well. "So you should only be worried if you're horrible at it." She crooked a finger at him as she stood, motioning him to get a move on. "Well come on, you want to prove yourself or let me think the worst?"

Tarathiel was wearing his black cloak, scaled and rather forbodding. His head was exposed, and his body concealed save for a slit that revieled his chest and belt buckle. The sircoat covered his armour, and the buckle was non-descript drow wear.
The ogres ignored him. What disrespect these co'nbluth had, time to educate them on their place in the grand skem of the multiverse. Out whipped his left hand, holding a modified hand crossbow and he fired one arrow into an ogre, which then exploded causing a large portion of the creature to disappear with the flames. An extremely fatal wound, but not one that would kill the creature out right. The hand dissappeared back under his cloak.
"Fetch." The drow repeated to the other sentry.
