Kinetic Dream ... I'd be tempted to compare, but things have started looking up for me. cool Me too... Not only did Connecticon rock hardcore, and my participation in several panels get me rewarded with swag, but I got a call late this afternoon letting me know that I have a new temp assignment from one of my agencies pulling 9-5 m-f for 11 bucks an hour... and not too far from my place either. Granted, the fact that I'm not leaving my last assignment high and dry means that this Thursday and Friday I am going to be pulling 14 hours a day.

I have to be into work at 9:20 tomorrow as opposed to 10... gonk
BUT good news is now.
So I went to the college today and after waiting about 40 minutes to talk to a counselor...I found out that I need ONLY the following to complete my general ed stuff.
-english
-2 arts or humanities courses (the one I'm gonna take is a philosophy class combined with English...a 6-unit course which is actually a ******** ripoff since english is generally 4 units and philosophy is 3...oh well)
-lab astronomy
SO...I'm gonna take this Chronicles of Narnia class (the english/phil. one), another philosophy course, and lab astronomy and BAM. I'm done with my general s**t THUS making me a junior. cool
And so this semester...I will have those three classes...and then a couple more. I was thinking animal behavior and applied calculus (or calculus with analytic geometry). I'm excited now.
I like calculus minus the fact that I suck at it.

I'm now a "stupid mod-helper". cool Gotta love regs. They hate me for warning them, they hate me when I move their threads without warning them. I think I'll stick to the latter. Less wasted posts on my part.
