By this time, Tomo had curled up on the couch as he tried to calm down, but only ended up falling asleep in the process. He shivered a little, but was able to snooze through it.
((I should probably hit the hay. I've had an emotional day. sweatdrop ))

With out thinking Ukaia got up and tucked tomo under a blanket. Stroking his hair gently and then she blinked. Why had she just done that?

"No problem," Arlen said, still smiling though he was a bit worried that Ukaia actually asked for permission to eat. "I think I know just the thing," he said as he walked back into the kitchen and prepped and skewered some river fish and poured a glass of milk for her. Handing Ukaia the milk he set the plate of fish down next to the fire and took a spare piece of firewood and started notching holes for the skewers with his knife.

"Thank you Mr.Arlen" she said picking up the milk and sippijng it with a very happy purr. She loved milk. And the fish was making her nose twich.. and her stomach growlthat much louder

"..Eat Ukaia.." River said to her watching her drink the milk, nodding to Arlen."..thank you for getting her food..." She said softly to him and sighed deeply watching Tomo sleep, now with a blanket. "...Your subconsious is telling you secrets Ukaia.."

Ukaia blinked and then looked at the food
"I didn't.. think he was ready mistress river" she said uncertinally nibbling her bottom lip. Not that she minded raw fish. Fish in general was her fav

River sruged."..I prefer it that way." she nodded to her and smiled. "I'm tired, though I'll stay up with you, and wait." She nodded."..Tell me when you are full." She yawned and leaned back in the chair, watching the fire.

Ukaia licked her lips hungerly as she was handed the fish
"Thank you very much Mr. Arlen" she said ducking her head. she pulled the fish off the skewer. THen began to bite into it eating the food with relish. she loved it.

She pause in her eating
"i.. please do not wait for me Mistress River" she said to her,
"If.. if you don't want to. I will retrn to your room if you will alolow me mistress?" she offered licking her lisp more

Smiling again, Arlen sat back with one of the fish for his own. "Would you like one River?" he asked, keeping an eye on the rest he had set up next to the fire.

"..No, I don't eat much, I'm quite full.." She said softly, moving to sit with them, legs crossed and sitting up strait.
"I'll wait for you to get tired, Dear I do not want you to worry or rush for my sake. And yes sleeping in my room for now would be safest.." She said adding the last part as a quick thought.

Ukaia still felt guilty that her mistress was waiting up for her. She wasn't remotly tired at this time. and much more hungry then she was letting on. Ukaia nibbled her bottom lip
"Yes Mistress I will sleep in your room. Where do you wish me?" he added thinking the bed lastnight a fluke
"I can sleep on th efloor.. or the chair so i do not remove you from your bed again..

"Here you go," Arlen said handing Ukaia the next fish that was finished, trying not to intrude on the conversation too much.
