okay I;ll vote! man that episode of southpark rocked! giant douche or turd sandwhich. I was thinking of vvoting independent but libertarians scare me and the green party had nader running for them...and I don't really care for bush or kerry so I didn't even bother to register to vote. but I have a feeling that bush is gonna win...he has the two prime states he needs to do it: texas and florida. plus...I hate to admit it...but bush didn't do as bad a job as I expected...then again I'm a super pesimist. and on top of that I was more concerned about his chopping up nature reserves for oil than i was about his incompetence with the war.

The numbers don't really surprise me... as a country, the US is pretty much hype/media-driven. I don't think most folks actually care about the issues/candidates so much as they think they do because they were told they should based on soundbites they heard in passing.
I can't count the number of folks I've talked to who spout off verbatim quotes from TV, posed as their own viewpoint.
